Hi all,
I've unlocked my A2017 Chinese bootloader,
Installed TWRP and B29 base rom.
Everything worked great until I made a mistake and relocked the bootloader.
Now the phone just showing the ZTE blue logo and turn off.
I can boot to the bootloader with holding both volume up+down but when I try to oem unlock it i get:
FAILED (remote: oem unlock is not allowed)
The system is not booting so I can't allow oem unlock from developer menu.
What can I do?
Thank you in advance.

Hi, you need to flash the bootloader accepted recovery.img first. Download the latest B13 chinese official rom and extract recover.img. Use the command to flash it:
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
Then reboot to this official recovery, and flash the B13 official rom. Now you can restart your previous bootloader unlocking process( actually I have no idea of how you succeed on the A2017 model). Good luck!
----second thought:
I doubt if you can successfully execute the command
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
since your bootloader is locked. Just wish you good luck!

I had the exact same issue as you, but in the above method TWRP would not flash properly onto my 1+2.
So if the above doesn't method doesn't work, try @Lord Boeffla modified recovery tool which will load Stock Recovery for you.

Hello.
Long story short:
I have a OnePlus2, I can boot in Fastboot mode and my PC does recignize the fastboot device.
fastboot oem device-info says that Bootloader is locked and when I try to unlock (fastboot oem unlock) it states "okay" but cannot boot into system because there is none installed. -> Bootloop
I cannot boot into recovery nor install a recovery due to the locked bootloader.
My Question:
Is there a way to unlock the bootloader in fastboot and/or install a boot.img?
I am happy for any help that I get.
Have a good day/night

No, but why you don't have system?
You have stock recovery download official signed full zip and flash it. Recovery.
Also unbrick guide using the one you need Qualcomm drivers

UPDATE:
The oem was already unlocked so thats why the command did nothing. (I found it by locking and unlocking it again)
Also I had the wrong SuperSU, I first installed CM14 and than installed the right SuperSU
So I was trying to root my OP2 for the second time (apparently it derooted itself for some reason?)
But now I can't unlock oem from fastboot.
I magicly could flash TWRP and from there I installed SuperSU.
But when I booted my device up, it get's bricked into a boot loop.
I got out of the boot loop and tried again.
So I go into fastboot mode and tried the command again:
>fastboot oem unlock
...
OKAY [ 0.020s]
finished. total time: 0.022s

PLEASE do not link me to the unbrick guides - the problem is NOT that it's bricked - The problem is that I can't unlock oem from fastboot and so I can't succesfull root my phone.
What works:
+ getting into the OS
+ getting into fastboot
+ flashing a recovery (even if the device is locked?!)
+ booting into recovery
What doesn't work:
- unlocking via fastboot oem unlock

If you can fastboot flash a custom recovery then your device isn't locked.
When you flashed SuperSU, did you use the stock version and force a systemless installation or did you use a modified version that does this automatically?
If you used the stock version and didn't force a systemless installation, this is probably the reason you're bootlooping.

Hi could I ask because i lock my bootloader on Mi A1 but unfortunately the device didn't boot up.
Now, I am trying to unlock bootloader to fix my device and it won't unlock FAILED (remote: oem unlock is not allowed).
I am on May latest security patch build. Please help me.
Did you try reflashing ROM with Mi Flash tool? Use "Save user data" option there.

I think you tried to lock your phone after rooting your device. You'll have to try to switch to fastboot mode by volume down + power after vibration. Then use flash using Mi flash tool
I cannot do that, the bootloader is locked and I am on May security patched. Those fastbook oem unlock and fastboot flashing unlock methods won't work. I believe only testpoint is the solution to my problem.
Stuck with the exact same problem....did u find the solution

Reboot to fastboot power+volume down then reboot to edl mode by typing "fastboot oem edl" in your adb your phone will turn black. Open miflash and click "refresh" if you see "com#X" it means its connected then flash the fasboot file you downloaded in mi forums after finish press and hold power until it restarts.
Hi everyone,
I am the owner of an A2017G, unlocked bootloader.
I tried them all, but all of them and I can't get into fastboot / bootloader mode.
Ihave flash rom via MIFLASH and AXON7 EDL TOOL using rom Nougat and Oreo, but the result is always the same !!!
Do you have any ideas to help me, perpetuate?
Thank you.
Use miflash and flash unlock bootloader image by Turkdev, even in oreo it will give you fastboot menu.
I did this 3 days ago to relock my bootloader
Use this tutorial:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/axon-7/how-to/guide-unlock-bootloader-easily-t3704595
The reason you lose your fastboot menu because you unlock BL with another image (using Axon 7 EDL tool perhaps), but if you do unlock with turkdev image in tutorial, your fastboot menu will stay there
