Anyone got SM-N9005 Stock Rom with PIT file please - Galaxy Note 3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

My Note 3 is playing up since a while and trying a few different rom's didn't help. Has anyone maybe got a stock rom with pit file so i can do a full restore?
TIA

A pit file is only needed if Odin can't read the partition information from the phone.
Try flashing a stock rom from sammobile.com without a pit file and the original Samsung USB cable on a USB 2.0 port.

I have done that but it didn't help much. For example formatting the device takes half an hour while i know it's usually just a couple of minutes.

CAUTION - it is your responsibility if you use this, i am not responsible for its use, it is the correct pit for n9005, and can be used with any full stock firmware through odin.

Thank you for the pit file. I have just tried to flash the phone with the official rom and get this error massage. Happens when i do or don't use the pit file. Anyone any ideas? TIA

What error message ??

Need error message or cant help at all. Have u tried restoring thru lies if Odin wont work, But it could be loads of things, one of the most common problems is COMPLETE WRITE FAILURE, due to hidden image issue, but its easily resolved.

What did you do before this all of this happened? You need to be very careful with PIT files, it is a sure way to brick your phone if not done right or with the incorrect PIT file. Usually, loading a PIT file is your absolute last resort.

Flashing pit files should be the last resort after failing the proper flashing of the official firmware.
Uneducated flashing of pit files can lead to a hardbrick.
That is why I said. Try flashing the official firmware from a different pc. Or use a different data cable. Or change everything.
Still if the pit error occurs, then flash put and then the official firmware.
Download the official firmware from here

never use the bootloader file - if its wrong you will hard brick your phone
download the firmware from my firmware thread - thats all I can suggest as it doesnt look like thats firmware iv uploaded
use rear usb ports if on pc never front ones or a hub - you can try a different cable or a pc if you continue to have problems
my firmware thread is at the top of the dev section or you can click the link in my signature to goto all my threads then select the firmware thread

PIT file is almost never needed - it just contains the partitioning information - unless you have flashed the wrong one in the past its highly unlikely you will ever need to flash it
It only maybe needed if for example you have mucked around with the partitioning or formatting & certain partitions can no longer be mounted
but i had the same problem but when i flash my sgy with pit and bootloader it fixed

FAILED flashing a custom ROM.

I tried to root my device (Samsung Galaxy Note 3 SM-N9005) and it went quite well.
Then I tried to flash a custom rom (Darkwolf S7 edge port) on my phone but I ended up in a bootloop where it was stuck on the samsung logo for hours.
I tried different stuff to get out of it but nothing worked so I decided to flash the stock rom onto my phone and at the odin status I get "FAIL". And on my device it shows "Volume Size is too big 4620289 < 4718599. And my phone is unusable. I need some help asap to fix it.
Please Help!!!
What is the phone model?
You used a stock ROM from sammobile.com in Odin?

My phone is a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 SM-N9005.
Yes,I used a stock ROM from sammobile.com in Odin.
But I get "FAIL!" over and over again...with the message,"Volume size is too big......",on my phone.
Have you tried using different version of Odin, different USB cables, and USB ports? You may need to flash the stock ROM with a pit file.

I've tried everything except for using a pit file. I don't really know much about using a pit file so I'm a bit apprehensive.
Could you help?
I have the exact same problem, but without the volume thing, I need help!

Hey there Flash!! xD
Its a pain..isn't it?
Anyway I figured out how to fix the phone finally...
You'll need to flash the custom ROM with the PIT,CP,AP, and CSC files.
Here's the link...http://www.tsar3000.com/Joomla/inde...ader-csc-pit-files&catid=55:samsung&Itemid=82
>Download the file suitable for your phone and specific model...Extract those files.. BE VERY CAREFUL TO CHOSE YOUR SPECIFIC MODEL!!!
>Launch Odin...
>Put you phone in Download mode and connect it...
>Load the PIT,CP,AP and CSC files in their respective slots..
*DON'T FORGET TO CHECK THE "RE-PARTITION" OPTION*
>And then hit the "start" button and pray...IT WORKS!!!
However this will erase EVERYTHING on your phone...all the user data...if you have some photos/videos/songs/EVERYTHING...your sd card should be safe though.
I hope this works for you...it worked for me..
Let me know if it does!! Have a nice day!!

I really appreciate the help!

Samsung Galaxy S4-I9505 stuck in bootloop/bricked.

I recently received a Samsung Galaxy S4 from my friend as my old phone broke. When i got it, i tried to go into recovery mode and it didn't work and ended up in going in a boot loop. Every time i try and go on recovery mode it says "movinand checksum confirmation fail", so last night i decided to run Odin and flash new firmware on the device and every time i tried to flash it, it says "There is no PIT partition", so i looked around for some pits and i tried flashing them with the firmware, by themselves and i even changed to 3 different cords and when i do it keeps saying "re-repartition operation failed". I have spent way to long on this and i need help!!!

What about using Odin 3.07? Tried flashing without a pit file? What happens when you try to enter recovery?

Where did you get the stock ROM? You are flashing the ROM as a single file in the PDA/AP slot?

I tried two different stock ROMS, 1st from sammobile (it was a Optus Australia Rom for GT-I9505) PA and another rom for Samsung Galaxy S4 with BL,PA,CP,CSC and neither of them worked. Yes i used the PDA/PA spot on both Odin 3.07 and 3.12

Well shame nobody can help i need device fixed soon, to be able to contact my manger.
Honestly, I don't think anyone can help here. You want to have a tech look at it, but I believe the flash memory may have failed. It would explain both why you can't get into recovery as well as why you get errors saying there is no pit partition and re-partition failed in Odin.

If the flash memory failed, that would explain a lot, Thanks for your insight
Either the memory is damaged or the pit file is not correct, or both.
Jtag may be the only solution.

Could you provide me with a correct pit File for "Samsung Galaxy S4 GT-I9505 Australia, Telstra"
And if that doesn't work i will learn about Jtag and try and perform it.
I'm not sure which pit would be correct as I don't have this phone. I am in Canada and this phone was not for sale here.

I have tried following that article a couple of times, yet the PIT they provided isn't for my region
Pit files are not usually region specific.

Well i have tried all available PITS file included here:
JFLTE_EUR_OPEN.pit
JFLTE_EUR_OPEN_16G.pit
9505.pit
CSB_signed_Fusion3_EUR_0325_V2.pit
None of them worked, so i don't know anymore might try a JTAG connection test (first time)
I get the exact same error in odin "there is no pit partition" when i try to flash Kitkat rom/ custom recovery/ root in odin.
Yeh, still haven't been able to fix my problem
hi.my phone was same problem.did you fixed your phone?
