very slow flashing stock rom - LeEco Le Pro3 Questions & Answers

If I flash stock rom with twrp it is very slow flashing and it freeze, if I flash cm13 or miui very fast flashing and it works, any advice?
I waited like 20 minutes and still dont finish flashing

What zip are you flashing? Sounds like a corrupt file.

I cant flash stock roms lol fail to flash, other roms are good

Something's not right. I went from CM to the Google modded stock, maybe 2 mins tops to flash. Back to CM, and now I'm on the TARS .20s stock based ROM. Never more than a minute or 2.

I tried to flash the stock 18s and stock 20s but cant complete the flash, It stuck in patching system Image unconditionally and stay there for more than 30 minutes, then I reboot recovery and flash cm13 within 1 min ?

The files you are trying to flash, are those flashable zips? Where are you getting them from?

Can you please elaborate which stock rom are you flashing exactly? May be the link?
CM13 and MIUI are always twrp flashable. Not all stock roms are.....

I just tried to flash CM13 and it's stuck at "Patching system image unconditionally". I have a x727 US Model and using TWRP v4.

I think it is partition problem in particular system partition

The only other ROM I have flashed successfully is this one and that one flashed fine.

Having root has nothing to do with the ability to flash ROMs, you might be a bit confused about that. You need to provide more information too please:
1. What ROMs have you tried?
2. Exactly what gapps have you tried?
3. Are you making sure you flash the correct corresponding vendor image to go with the ROM build?
4. Exactly what error(s) are you getting?
Messgaes on failure
when i reboot i get your system cant be checked for corruption, please lock boot loader.
after twrp starts i try and flash dirty unicorn,i think i am missing a step
error says
update process ended with error 7
error installing zip file /sdcard/DU_TBO_GAPPS_3.1 ZIP
Okay dirty unicorn boots with the message flash updated vendor image.

not sure. but give it a try and let me know if it works
The firmware binaries are from May 2015. Is that accurate? I was hoping we'd have something newer than the October or January blobs. Or is that misleading?
I'd love a new modem.
downloading.... will report soon
i guess we will have to use the chineese TWRP or the stock recovery, and also flash gapps for it
I will be patiently waiting for TWRP flashable zip
i will try with the chinese twrp and see if it works
EDITS:
-To flash the rom i used TWRP 3.0.2-3 Tugapower, but i changer the \META-INF\com\google\android\update-script in the zip file, i changed the name of the phone so i don't get the error7
-Here are some screenshots
-For the gapps i still didn't flash them, i juste came home from work

Yes, it works with TWRP, after you flash it though it won't boot to recovery so you have to shut down, go into fastboot, flash the old firmware, then without booting into the OS, boot into recovery, flash gapps, boot into fastboot mode again and flash the new firmware (you can find it in the H2OS zip).

Flash the ROM, without rebooting flash Gapps and SuperSU then reboot!
If you want to change ROM, reboot back into fastboot and flash other firmware and TWRP and you are good to go!

Software install failed!

Hi guys,
I have a honor 6 plus (PE-TL10), it was running EMUI 4. I flashed TWRP 2.8.7 and then wiped all partitions through it(cust, system, etc) then flashed stock recovery back, now i am trying to install EMUI 4.0.1(Android 6.0) via 3 buttons Huawei update but it stops at 5% and fails. Can you guys provide me with any help, I really need it.
Also now when i am trying to wipe data thru stock recovery i get an weird error message at almost 25% saying "reset balong modem setting fail", which making it more difficult to get back stock rom.
Just last question; the Unbrick option in the "HONOR_6_and_6Plus_Multi-Tool", wil it restore the device to stock rom and fully functional state after that or it will miss some parts of the stock rom ?
Many thanks and regards

For you to restore to stock you need to flash boot, recovery, system and cust.
Make sure you have stock boot and recovery to for forced update (3 buttons).
What happens in most of the cases is boot and recovery files are corrupt.
I would try the unbrick of the Multitool. If it fails, I would flash manually all img files for each partition. But using the same firmware version as the last installed one.
Post your results and I will try to help.
1:Extract the ROM with huawei update extractor
2:download latest minimal adb and fastboot drivers and install them
3ut the extracted system.img,recovery.img,cust.img,boot.img and userdata.img into the fastboot.exe folder
4: boot into the fastboot mode
And finally flash the above mentioned imgs one by one with this command
fastboot flash XXX XXX.img
After flashing files type
Fastboot reboot
and every thing should be fine again

Thank you for answering, I did used Huawei MultiTool and Unbricked my device. I flashed four img files(SYSTEM,CUST,RECOVERY,BOOT) and now i am back to stock rom and running smoothly.
I tried to use force update feature on my device after that but again i got the same result, it stopped at 5% and failed. I guess i will keep it the way it's now.
Many thanks; you guys are awesome!

Thank you, I did that except for userdata.img file, the Huawei MultiTool only mentioned 4 files(system, recovery, boot, cust). Now my device is running back again on stock rom. Should I flash userdata.img file or is it ok?
Just a question that i keep asking myself; inside the stock update.app file there are 22 img files, what do they do? I only flashed four of them so what purpose do the rest serve as? if the device can operate fully functional with four of them!
Many thanks,

Yes it will according to what I've been reading. I just got my pixel and have been trying to catch up with all the new a and b slots and how recovery is now baked into the boot.img, so from what I understand is that if you flash anything new such as rom or kernel a flash of both twrp and your choice of root is needed also or you will have stock recovery. So much different from my Nexus 6P. Lol. I have a lot to learn that's for sure

Yes but you can reflash twrp and magisk with absolutely no errors ,also twrp has no touch issues with the kernal that's already baked in rom!!!! It's a great rom!
Anyone else having trouble getting this to boot?
I've followed the instructions exactly. Reboot to TWRP (3.2.1-0), factory reset via the wipe menu, install the ROM .zip followed by the TWRP installer zip.
Go to reboot, TWRP asks me if I'm sure I want to do this as there's not an OS installed. I don't know what else to do other than say 'yes' and then it boots to the Google logo with the unlocked icon at the bottom of the screen and just hangs indefinitely at that point. Tried redownloading and recopying the ROM .zip to internal storage and all steps again too.
Any ideas? I've wiped this damn phone so many times and flashed the factory images so many times trying to get a custom ROM to work I'm about to give up. And my phone seems to damn janky where sometimes it does that same freeze on boot (or freezes on the TWRP splash screen) but then a quick reboot will fix it. Doesn't make any sense.

Did you let the phone do it's initial boot after deuce's script ran? Or just stayed in fastboot mode, fastboot booted to TWRP, and flash the ROM and TWRP installer zip?
Also, did you format userdata when given the option in deuce's script? And you flashed TWRP before the ROM? I was under the understanding that the ROM flash would erase the TWRP install.
EDIT: I didn't format userdata, didn't reboot afterwards (just booted straight into TWRP and proceeded), and flashed TWRP before ROM and now it is indeed booting. Just need to figure out now whether or not TWRP is still installed. Many thanks! Deuce's must have fixed something I must have janked I guess.
EDIT2: Yeah appears TWRP should be flashed after the ROM not (just) before like the DU post says. I'm back to stock recovery afterwards.

i flashed the firmware zip from this link:https://forum.xda-developers.com/mi-a1/development/xiaomi-mi-a1-tissot-firmware-flashable-t3759886
but i wasnt on 7.12.29 at that moment i was on the OPR1.170623.026.8.1.10-beta build flashed by Jamflux's tool do you think that might have caused the problem?

if i flash stock rom i get frequent reboots

can i claim my warranty if i flashed the stock rom and locked the bootloader?
