I have the official Swype Beta. I signed up when it was open and installed as instructed from Swype. No hacks/cracks or themes.
Yesterday after upgrade and re-root I reinstalled the Beta Swype and it installed properly but after every reboot the Swype will not work and I must choose a different input method then re-choose Swype and then go to the Swype settings and select the language.
So bottom line is Swype is not remembering the language pack on re-boot, it is annoying.
EDIT: Looks like it is a known problem to everyone but Swype. Too bad. http://androidforums.com/evo-4g-support-troubleshooting/141061-froyo-2-2-swype-glitch-fix.html
Hello...
I Have Some Problem with my N900..
after update by wifi I notice some lag when i was typing message ... slow response when typing on keyboard ...
i have just 10 APPs installed on my Note 3 and my android version is 4.3 Stock-not rooted...In addition I haven't any lag issues at all in my launcher or gallery.
Please Help me if anyone experienced this problem...
If Factory reset remove All of the updates?
What Should I do?
thank you...
Does this also happen on another keyboard? (Swiftkey? Hackers Keyboard?)
Factory reset keeps the current system version, but you will have to re-update all the apps.

Unfortunatly yes....on another keyboards I had this lag too... but right now I solve it...
I noticed that the lags weren't the result of the updates.. they happened just because I turned off some apps in app manager... like evernote , software update , chat on , yahoo finance , google search and some else...
So I turned the apps on and the lags went away.....
But now I dont understand why this problem occure for my device...if any one has the same problem ?
I expected turning off the apps shoud improve my device performanc and more free space of ram...but it make my keyboard so laggy and slow...

I expect it was one app that caused the issue, as opposed to all of them. Possibly one that works with the keyboards.
You could turn them off again one by one until you find the culprit.

Try to reflash latest stock firmware, after boot up, dont fill in your Gmail or samsung account, then factory reset on setting. after boot up, dont fill in your gmail or samsung account again, let it boot at the first screen, then try your keyboard again on messaging apps.

So, I changed my phone font and when my phone got rebooted, I can't use my keyboard anymore... It keeps stopping... I tried to factory reset, that didn't help
Also, I noticed that earlier after factory reset there were 800+ mb used in inter storage... Now its 500+ mb... Someone can help? Cause now the phone is useless
Perhaps the font is not compatible with your keyboard.
But i dont think that after doing factory reset (deletes everything, makes almost new phone), that problem should remain... Also, ~300mb somewhere dissapeared ??
Anyone, help, please?

Try changing font style
Try wiping data of Samsung keyboard using titanium backup. U can also use another keyboard or google keyboard after freezing stock keyboard.
BTW which rom are u using?
Ok, I have solved my problem I have just installed another keyboard, and voila ??
Tonight I updated my m9p to Oreo / EMUI 8. Everything seems to work fine so far, except emojis from the keyboard. I have tried to switch between different keyboards like GBoard, Swiftkey, Kika etc. All the same. They are bugged and re-aligned somehow.
I have tried to change resolution, fontsize etc. to no good. I have attached a screenshot of the emojis....
Anyone else has this problem? And even better, a solution.
I figured it out by myself.
I thought it was logic to make a factory reset. It solved the problem. All emojis are aligned and sized normal now.
hi...how did u update? official or flashing through recovery?
ty
Just normal here. Try factory reset.
Heeelllpppp. I already did factory reset on my Huawei Nova 2i. But still the emojis are like showing 1/4 of their faces.
I've just installed February upgrade and rebooted. I'll have to enter my password to login, but don't have any keyboard.
I'm on stock w/o root. But some time ago I've disabled gboard and installed AnySoftKeyboard.
Any help how to login?
Thanks.
Damn... I gues I'll have to factory reset. Power + Volume Up brings this option if anyone else is facing this issue...
Wow

yes, think you'll have to factory reset, this is why they recommend you don't disable stock keyboard on your phone & always have it available through the change keyboard soft button. I ended up in same situation years ago when I installed my own keyboard & disabled the Cyanogenmod one.
