Looking for a Freelancer / Paid assistant to fix OEM_NV_Backup - OnePlus 2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello! I am an expat living abroad on a small island. From a tech support / save standpoint it's a remote location and getting access to adequate tech support is difficult.
I sent my phone to the local OnePlus service centre because an error on my phone “OEM_NV_Backup” kept randomly popping up on the screen after switching from OOS to H2OS.
After 2 days of assessing the problem, they OnePlus service centre returned the phone determining that the issue was Oneplus Two wasn’t sold in my location. They then had me pay for the DHL to send the handset to the capital city, whereby they took 5 days to tell me that they couldn’t help either as the OP2 wasn’t sold in this country.. Obviously I then paid for the return DHL!! The phone cam back accept now the phone won't register on any network.
Everything else is working as new... I have tried.. i really have but my capability truck isn't as full as first thought!
I simply need to pay for the services of an expert... My thoughts are I copy the full NV .QCN file. Have the expert work their magic and send back to me. I will then restore the fixed .QCN file with QXDM software programming and the job should be done.
I have proof of ownership, the box, the imei etc … Everything is legitimate.
Looking to have the job done asap.. I posted it on Freelancer but i can paypal etc a payment...
Can anyone assist? Thanks R

Maybe from h2os modem

if you have lost your Second IMEI and you dont have your modem files backup from OOS then you cant restore your imei.
It is gone.
even after editting qcn file imei 2 is not coming back.
its encrypted

I have a A2001 single imei OP2. I have the modem, modemst1 &modemst2 files. The phone even got signal today for 10 mins. I think something has been changed in with NV Browser. I flashed it with CM and it had CDMA settings in the network menu.
Does anyone know where I could get a complete .qcn minus the imei NV items?
Thanks for any ideas or help.

[N 6P][H1512-Int.][LTE Problem]tinkered around with hidden menu, cant connect to LTE

i have a rooted nexus 6p (h1512) (the international version) with a custom rom (pure nexus rom) and custom recovery...after rooting the device i foolishly tinkered around the hidden secret codes on my device..i downloaded an app called shortcut master (lite)....and searched for some hidden codes...i selected a code 3282 from the options....went into dataSettings, then into lte // edit///(i knew the msl code 000000) and tried to enable band 26...the reason i did that was because i was using an lte sim card and was not getting proper speeds...so i figured enabling a band may make a difference...besides i thought..i could always revert it back...as soon as i enabled band 26....the phone restarted and now i cant get the lte network (no bars)...i went back to the hidden menu to revert the settings but the settings there were exactly similar as before( band 26 was still disabled) ...i cant see any changes that my fooling around had done..and even though i cant get any bars with lte sim....the apn settings associated with the sim are still there..
and i also inserted other 3g sim cards in the phone ...they work perfectly okay...so i think it has something to do with lte bands....i have also flashed the stock factory image from google after this problem after wiping everything, but that didnt solve the problem....i then reflashed the radio too....but it didnt help...so then i went back to my custom rom
is there any way that i can reset the changes i may have made?
any help will be greatly appreciated..
these are the current lte settings on my phone( there is no difference compared to when lte sim was working)

is there any way to reset lte settings?
i think my messing around with these hidden codes has changed some underlying deep seated huawei modem firmware settings...
i just want to know if any of you guys know how to fix this problem? any help will be greatly appreciated.
Edit : All non lte sim cards work just fine..and yes, i inserted that lte sim in other phones and it works just fine, so the sim has no poblem..
EDIT 2: SOLVED...after much searching for solution, bet all my cards on efs partition restoration, was successfull...anyone having similar problems , pm me if u wanna know the commands for nexus 6p to erase efs and its restoration.
CHEERS!!!
Having the same issues on my wife's phone hopefully someone finds a fix.
Had the same issue, download netmonster from market and go into phone info, then turn off cellular radio then turn it back on. Worked for me

Samsung Note 3 Stucked at Boot Samsung Word Screen.

Hi Experts,
I use Samsung Galaxy Note 3 SM-N900 bought in December, 2013 - India.
Recently, for no reason or fault of mine, my cellphone has stucked at the start screen where the word SAMSUNG is displayed with colorful dots flowing around (Screenshot:

What can be the issue and how to fix this? I've checked with the Samsung Service Centre and they recommend Hard Factory Reset but that will result into losing of important data. I've tried Wipe Partition Cache option but didn't fix the issue. So my questions are:
Q1. How to get the data extracted from this cellphone before going ahead with Factory Reset?
Q2. Is Factory Reset the only solution to fix the issue. Isn't there any alternative means by which I can reach the home screen without losing the data present in the internal storage?
Q3. I am unable to reach the Safe Mode with the combination of keys pressed as guided on Google Search.
Q4. If Factory Reset is the only solution than is there any Free Software which is strong enough to get all the data back? More importantly, I want my WhatsApp folder back which has important information and post Factory Rest, I will stand a chance to re-obtain it.
Q5. Is any one aware of Mobile Data Recovery experts in India so who can be approached for the recovery of data post Hard Factory rest is done.
A quick reply to this query will be much appreciated!
Regards,
Apoorva.

Question asked multiple times Use Search.
Suggest ADB .

Highly unlikely

Stock S8 (UK, Three) - CTS profile fail

I purchased a refurbished S8 (SM-G950F) from Argos eBay a few months ago. Phone seemed in perfect cosmetic condition, but the software side of it has started to annoy me.
I couldn't get banking apps to work correctly, then found out that when running Safety Net I get "CTS profile match - Fail". I've done nothing to it (root, ROMS etc), so can only assume it's something to do with the bootloader in the refurb process?
Also, weirdly, in "About Phone", the "My Phone Number" is totally different to mine.
Phone is currently on Nougat. Would it have had Oreo installed OTA if it was passing Safety Net?
What options do I have with regards to making it pass CTS profile match? Would flashing a new stock ROM be a waste of time if the bootloader has been modified?
Thanks in advance.
Sounds like the bootloader has been unlocked, try using magisk and magiskhide to hide root from your banking apps. Works for me on the Halifax banking app
Trying to install TWRP via Odin (to then get me to installing Magisk) but I'm going round in circles.
Everything I read online says you don't need a PIT file in Odin, but this is what mine is showing (JOdin3 on Mac OS, FYI)
Downloaded TWRP file and added to PDA section

Click Start, and get this popup
If I select a PIT it tells me I have I to re-boot phone, but when I re-boot into Download mode, it won't connect in Odin!
So it took me a bunch of attempts and a few times where I thought I'd soft-bricked it, but managed to install Magisk (and updated to Oreo in the process)
Ended up borrowing a legit Samsung cable, and doing it all on a Windows machine.
Also now have Google Pay working and fingerprint login on my banking app

No networks or mobile data after flash

Hi, i'm kinda desperate but I'll try to be as clear as possible. So.
Recently I got an used galaxy s8(G950F), at the time I got It, i could get network, make calls and lte with no problems, so, I saw that the mobile was rooted and also I had really bad problems of battery, like I almost lost all my battery because of the usage of android system,( i think an app was bugged or something because my phone was really overheating when I was only using chrome and nothing more, and happened with every app I used), I didn't want the device rooted and with that problem of battery. So I tried to flash another room in order to try to fix it, and when I did, I couldn't get into network, I only get the "emergency calls only".again, In order to try to fix that, i flashed some same csc and pda firmware, then another firmware with only same baseband, (always with original firmware) and nothing seems to work. I really don't know what to do now, I pulled out the sim before factory reset, and put it after, turning off airplane and turning on, like any easy solution I could find I tried it.I'm out of ideas. One thing I saw is that the firmware I had before has pda and csc from a firmware from MXO but a baseband from ARO that ends in CR1. I couldn't find a firmware like that and also I want to know if I can fix it, really. I'll really appreciate any help. Thanks.
Some more things: if I do try to select a network at the select networks operators I get "error while searching for networks" ,the network I'm trying to connect is movistar, I'm from Argentina, I'll attach screenshots of the firmware I had before (the one that was working the mobile data) and now, also the imei didn't change or disappear so I don't think that's the problem.

EDIT: ok, i send the phone to a repair shop and turns out that the imei is blacklisted and has been changed.also the person who sold me the phone didn't mention anything about that, so when i restarted my phone it came back to the original imei. big oof for me. if any moderator sees this you can delete the post.

if youre not rooted, youre unlikely hacked. If you have the fear that you have been, factory reset from within the OS, remove any FRP lock, boot to recovery, factory reset in there literally 3 times. The 3 times part isnt because of your situation, its a constant across all galaxy devices to wipe more than once because phone weirdness does occur, reflash tour firmware from sammobile.com/firmwares with the regular CSC, not the HOME_CSC, reboot, set your phone up and any chance of it being hacked are gone.
Thank You
Thanks a lot for taking the time to answer, i cannot get into recovery mode either, since the Oreo 8.0.0 update my phone screen flashs when i get a call and going into recovery mode i release power when samsung shows then the android man comes for a split second then the flashing screen starts and the screen is totally covered with small vertical coloured lines, i found out when i went to wipe the cache partition but couldn't cos of the flashing and coloured screen, this all happened after the ota Oreo update, the flashing was constant at first i couldn't use the phone but now it's just with calls out or in and when the call ends it stops after about 10 seconds, that's why i haven't rooted which i would like to do as the Google and Samsung bloat is ridiculous, we shiuld be given the option, if we want them we can download them but not be forced to have them, but i'm afraid to root to remove them due to the flashing screen, but i think there are internal settings to reset it Thank you for your help
