Good morning.
I noticed that if I lock the screen using third party apps, I have to insert the pin to unlock the screen, and I can't use the fingerprint.
Is there a way to create a link to the exact process that locks the screen (I use Nova Launcher), so I could use the fingerprint every time?

I found a solution. With Nova Launcher by disabling administrator privileges, instead of locking the screen, it shows for 5 seconds a black screen, and the locks the phone. After doing this it's possible to unlock the phone with the fingerprint.

yes ,it's very simple and functional.
1.I compared two ways ,find no keyboard is good-looking than active input.
2.In fact, I maybe not want to unlock the screen ,only take a look time,sms ...
Try widget locker. I think you can set it up to show a normal lockscreen (shortcuts, etc.) Before showing the password lock screen.

In stock android and some UI's (Lg's, for example) there's a widget called 'settings shortcut', where you can basically choose some shortcuts and have them in your home screen. It's useful to quickly toggle between location modes, and to check the battery graph, for example.
I can't find the option in my S7E, and because I haven't used a Samsung device in years, I don't know if it's really not possible, or if it's just places anywhere else.
So, is this possible?

I'm using force doze but i face a strange issue. Sometimes waking up the phone with home or side button doesn't activate lockscreen. I think it might be becauseI have to put lockscreen in the app whitelist, Can anyone provide me the package name of the lockscreen? I can't find it

You have set the doze time below the automatic lock screen timeout (usually 5s). Disable "ignore lockscreen timeout" in force doze settings

Good evening. I have a big problem with the issue "screen overlay detected".
I can't use a large number of apps, because when I start them, this window appear and I can only exit from the app.

It's a compatibility bug with MM and one of the apps your already using. Basically if you use an app that has screen overlay (Pie Control control for example) you need to turn that app off before you can install the app your trying to use. Then you can turn the app back on that uses screen overlay

I wanted to share a Telegram image (opened in Telegram) to a friend of mine through Messenger, but this error showed up. What should I do? Uninstall Telegram, turn off Messenger and then install Telegram again?

Is there a free screen lock widget that locks v20 yet allows reopen with fingerprint rather than pin? I have tried several and they either don't really lock or require pin to reopen. Thanks!

Why use a widget? Can't you just double knock to screen off and lock?
Only way for it to work is for it to set a timeout where it shows a blank screen until the phone shuts itself of. Ever since mm it has been this way. You can however double tap the notification bar to put it to sleep and still use fingerprint to unlock.

I need to disable. it since phone sometimes opens in holster by itself.
Yeah if you use LG's default launcher, you will be able to simply use Knock Off/On and unlock with your fingerprint. If you are using a different launcher then i believe you need root to be able to allow it to use double tap to lock without using admin. (Using admin to lock makes it require pin usage and not fingerprint).
Nova Launcher has such feature which is why I asked.
You might check out C Locker. It even has profiles where it won't lock when on specific BT or WiFI, or location.
As stated above, if you are rooted, you can get this working fine using Nova launcher (I'm currently doing that via Tasker but there are other apps that can do it too).
If you are not rooted then you may be SOL for now until changes are implemented on Google or LG's end (unless you find an app that is using the black screen/timeout workaround).
I also miss Gsam. Totally inaccurate in V20. Due to security changes in Nougat I'm told
