SG S4 no registered on network problem

Hi Friends
I have problem with my s4 it cannot call or send messages and when we try to make call it say "no registered on network problem"
when i try to open mobile data it says "Insert SIM card to access network services" therefore i couldnt use my phone as a basic phone ability.
I will add a video what i try to say.Thıs situation is allways happening i mean it is never works normaly
I never make my phone root or someting like rom things i am a orginal stock rom user and i never touch ıts

Maybe phone get barred, where did u get it from?

Did you cut the card yourself to a micro sim size? If yes order one from your carrier.

i bought it from ıraq but it is orginal and when i open the box it has worked perfectly.
how can be barred a phone?

The Imei is only barred by operators if the phone is listed as reported stolen. Try ordering a new micro sim card from your operater, first try if your simcard works in another phone to rule out a defective simcard.

i tried it i have bought new sim card :S and it is working with another phone and this phone is not carries prohobited phone it is jhust bought from market

- Tried removing and reinserting the simcard?
- Checked the APN settings for your operator in the phone"?
- Tried a data factory reset?
- Tried reflashing the stock rom with Odin 3.04?

2-Checked the APN settings for your operator in the phone when i click settings/wireless and networks /mobile networks there is a warning come to screen "Insert SIM card to access network services"
3-Tried a data factory reset i tried it yesterday but :S
4-Tried reflashing the stock rom with Odin 3.04 i tries it yesterday with 3.07 my phone is GT-I9500

Well if nothing works turn in the phone for repair, maybe its a somehow faulty device.

I all ready give it to warranty service and they took it 1 week then they sad we couldt repair it:S anyway

But if its a brand new phone and they can't repair doesn't that mean they'll give you a new handset? That's how warranty generally works fix or replace....

i bought it from ıraq and i gave it to warrant y in turkey so samsung turkey says if you buy from another country we will not take it in warranty procedure.
I dont know is it true or not i have read something about international warranty but they dont fix it

Yep, that is true. Pain in the bum but if you get a cheaper phone from overseas they will not fix it. Don't know why as its still the same hardware, generally...

Flashing an older modem helps to recover the ime (EFS folder), its not lost only not accessible. Look in my signature for available modems and flash an older I9500 modem with Odin 3.04.

i flash with UBUBMG1 but my imei is null/ null

unknow network after flash

pls a litle bit of help here... i was flashing my phone from mj8 to mk1 firmware when i realized that i have unknow network... even before flashing it looks like that.. i dont know why.. my imei, baseband and s\n are good.. it is just that..... i9500 btw.. thanks

im on official firmware.. i have changed a lot of modems now... but still in same problem..

also tried "I accessed *#0011#
tapped menu, select back
tapped menu, select input, inputted 1, ok
waited as well as tapped menu, select back
it doesn't go anywhere or changes menu."
but notingh happens...

Are you able to make/accept the calls? How about the mobile data connection?
If the above works:
Try to flash CSC for your region (it will wipe phone, so make a backup).
It is likely that your current CSC does not have your network provider...

i have flashed my country (region) firmware already... but still the same.. thats why i decide to change the modem... but same problem.. i have a nspro box .. i already unlock it but nothing happens.

Hmmm... it may be other thing... do you have the possibility of checking your SIM with other phone?

Try a different simcard if possible. Or put your simcard in a another phone. This way you can see if the problem is with the simcard or phone.
Do you have a pincode on your simcard? If not, set one and reboot.

i have 3 diferent sim cards and 3 diferents phones... my 3 sim cards are working .. it is just on this phone.. also i've cheked already if my imei is blacklisted but it isnt btw

Try to do a factory reset:
- Make a backup of ur Internal Memory
- From your home screen press the apps icon in the lower right corner.
- Find and press the settings icon.
- In the upper end of the screen press the accounts tab.
- In the bottom of the next screen press the Backup and reset button.
- Press the factory data reset.
- Read the info on your cell phone screen and hit Reset device.

the phone read the sim card.. it set the apn and the contacs automaticly its just say unknow network and i could not get any call signal or internet from it. look the file attached.. i did a hard reset after flashing the firmware btw.

Dont flash more firmwares till we find the one u need for ur phone. I need u install Kies 3 and conect it. This will give me the info I need for u :highfive:

[Q] I9506 Network problem

I bought a used I9506 that was locked.
I tried some unlocking guides but nothing worked so i bought a unlock code from the operator, but now it can't even find a network. I don't think the EFS folder is corrupt because the correct IMEI still shows up when I type *#06# in the dialer. I have tried different CSCs but nothing changes so I don't know what the problem is. Have anyone experienced similar problems or know any solutions to this?

All seems Ok. You can:
1. Factory reset your device and try again.
2. Buy other unlock code coz seems your device is locked again.

I have tried to factory reset many times but nothing changes.
I can't use any unlock codes because I don't have any network at all (I can't even call 112 or 911).

I have tried many different SIM cards from different operators.

''no service'' or ''no sim-card inserted''

sorry for asking so many questions here...
so i've just installed the stock rom back on my motorola X play
everything works! except one thing:
the Sim-card
i am 100% sure the sim card works since i have tested it already on a other phone
what could be the cause of the problem?

yes, it detects the sim-card. it even asks for the pin-code to unlock the sim
but as soon I unlock the sim... nope no service did I install the wrong driver for this device?

some more information:
I've tried to search to mobile carriers and it successfully finds them on 4g, 3g or 2g but it won't register.
if i tap my carrier it says ''registering on Lebara'' and i get a message ''sorry we couldn't register at this time, try again later''

first remove the sim pin-code and clear cache from recovery and see if it detects. if it doesn't work see if you have twrp backup of previous rom on which you were on, and restore the backup.
or flash any new rom and see if it detects the sim.

well that's just it,
the sim cards are perfectly detected from A-Z
but when the phone has to register it to a carrier it fails to do so.

I don't know which rom to try,
at first I mistakenly flashed the Asian dual-sim version. but the sims didn't work at all, no detection no nothing.
later I tried the correct version from Europe, and the Sim got detected but it didn't wanted to be used. atleast the phone didn't

I've the same problem. I just flashed correctly stock version of system, but I didn't notice that it is version Dual SIM. Then I wanted to flash CM 14.1 but unfortunetly modem doesnt work. I've tried flashed once again modem of stock version and it result i could input my pin code, but in settings I see that radio is off.
EDIT: I want to add that after noticed CM 14.1 modem doesnt work, I've flashed stock one sim modem. But device still recoganize that my XT1562 is dual sim. Is there any adb/fastboot command which could fix my issue?

I've figured out that it's my IMEI number that's missing but I can't acces the ADB commands, maybe you are having a lucky day.
If you still have the original box you could find your IMEI number and fix it with this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-one/general/steps-how-to-recover-bad-imei-t3171452
but please becareful with this solution I don't know if it's 100% compatible with android 6.0

Maybe it would solve my problem. I'll try your fix in week time. I've checked up my fastboot and behind Baseband, there is nothing written.

What firmware do you have, stock or some custom?
Do you maybe have ACC - disable/remove and try again

I have uploaded the stock and some custom does not work. Probably due to the main error.

Did you manage to solve the problem? I have the same issue. I can't downgrade to a previous firmware, because the phone has not root access. To get the root access I need to confirm my account by using internet through sim card, but I can't due to this problem.

If your phone is unlocked, you can use Miflash to downgrade
