It is official release but I also never try this.

that's good news....hopefully they will push 4.4.4 to rest of Note 8 variants....this tells me that our device may be getting 5.0 (lolipop), what would cool.. even if this device considered quite old (2013), I don't think Samsung will abodened anytime soon since it is only Spen Note device with 8 inch...

i know but that large empty space between statusbar & the first notification is annoying...
is there anyway to get "double tap home to sleep" like in OxygenOS? I loooooove HydrogenOS but this is kinda annoying to me...

Indeed! It's faster and just so much more polished. Beautiful! Unfortunately no multilanguage and no Play Store :/
I just installed through TWRP blue spark (r12) and everything just went well. But I am back to OOS for now. H2OS is no daily driver for me for the above mentioned reasons.

You can flash gapps
Is there any way to activate white theme on h2OS using oneplus x ? because i just hated that dark theme in all stock apps like calendar, dial, messaging app and settings menu etc.
Of course it does look good for most people, but as i bought champagne version, much more prefer white tones, just like h2OS on oneplus 2 ! any ideas?

yeah. i use open gapps pico. works fine and english is not that hard for using a phone^^
H2OS is just so much better than OOS. there is no way I use it again soon.

yep. still there. in the beginning it bothered me as well. but now I am used to only swipe once.

hydrogen OS seems more stable but the pull up button for the menu confuses me im so used to pull down for quick settings menu haha so i went back to Oxygen. but lemme check again with this new update i might go back to hydrogen

There are a no. of custom ROMs available for a6k+. Many of them are bug free. You should instead try those.
You can use CM11 by @ED300, MoKee Rom, MiUi7, and others
i tried mokee 5.1.1 LOLLIPOP rom, but same problem is there. By the way, what about MIUI 7 based on 5.1.1, is it chinese?

Replace /system/app/LockClock/LockClock.apk (uploaded to the same location) and set permission to 644 if weather does not work (cLock widget, Lock screen Weather, Notification Header Weather)
Select OpenWeatherMap, Yahoo does not work.

Is that ROM on 6.0.1?
What about microphone? Because in any other 6.0.1 ROM i cant hear anything from microphone.

It's not my ROM, this is the ROM by Deelie. I have only mirroring because it is difficult to download from Chinese websites.
Patches are my (kanged, recycled, adapted).
Android version is 5.1.1 x64.
Mic is pretty good after MicFix.zip

Kinda like RR 6.0.1 32 or 64 bit, but still not comfortly stable. Downgraded to this ROM, it much better since there are patches & fixers, tqvm for this version. Battery life & performance thumbs up. No overheated too while connect to charger or not :good::good::victory:

Should I use micro instead nano, although it work well in mine? Since micro got much more function...

#How to install the update?
Go to Recovery >> Apply update from ADB >> Connect USB.
Rename the .zip that u download to M2.zip
Download Minimal ADB & fastboot >> Go to folder in C:/Minimal ADB.. >> Move the M2.zip to that folder.
Do shift + right click and type " adb sideload m2.zip "
Wait until 100%, then unplug USB, reboot ur device... Done!

Hi,
I confirm!
I was running 4.21.40.54 update before installing the 4.21.40.69 update, but forgot to unroot: device was not bricked but just got an "update failed" message (no harm).
Then I unrooted by just fastboot / flashing the boot.img of the 4.21.40.54 update and applied the 4.21.40.69 update again successfully.
Rooted + xposed again and my zenfone now works like a charm

Guess you are a beta tester ? If so, please report to Asus that the current Android update is compiled using 32 bits instruction set. Although the performance is still very good (~54900 Antutu score) and phone much more reactive than in stock 5.0, I'm wondering why they don't use 64 bits (atom Z3560 is a 64bits CPU).

No way 63000 is the 550. My score is just over 55,000. This is up slightly from Lollipop. Your 43800 score would've been the older version Antutu. On the new version scores got higher, especially on higher end devices, to better show the difference. Our 550 with L on the newer Antutu scored low 50s.

performance is good but sot is bad compared to miui 8. on epic rom i use to get 8 hours, now its 5.5. i thinks because it's not stable enough and all the garbage Chinese stuff...

just root and remove all the Chinese bloatware using titanium backup or something like that.

Same notifications. Max 1/4sec. 100 ISO Lowest.
Not different so much with MIUI 8, i think better stick with Global stable MIUI 8
Please anyone confirm if this bug is fixed in MIUI 9. Thank you.

SOT ~7.5 hours. Basic stuff, facebook, messenger, chrome browsing, spotify all the time or youtube in background. Not bad in my consideration
Any major bugs?, my debloater scripts i used on miui 8 seems a bit to strict, have to rework them tonight.
Did anyone manage to remove encryption on the miui9?
Could someone report if there are any differences in camera app? Camera to api?
Could someone please send here the framework.res.apk would be nice if anyone could do it for me
