Hi,
maybe someone have beta 3 and beta 4 not rooted rom for odin ?
Lol maybe someone reads and realises that there is no beta 2, 3 or 4 files to flash in odin since they are Ota updates.. the beta program opened up twice and you obviously missed the openings twice. So either stick to custom nougat roms or wait for official nougat release. Those are your only choices.. now this thread is pointless and should be removed as it doesnt help or have any beneficial benefits for anyone..
Remember read and please use common sense.

So I have a Lithuanian note 4 8 core version and I'm using in the UK. And I plugged into kies and I saw a 1.7 gb update I thought I'll do it over the air instead and tried that and a 25 mb download happened installed and now nothing! I'm still on 5.0.1 and it says I have the latest update . Surely the 5.1.1 is coming? Did you guys see an update like this? Thanks. Ps i could be a little out in the sizes of the packages I guess

Kies downloads the full firmware, so it will always be big. OTAs are usually smaller.
And about the 5.1.1. update, it'll be available when samsung wants it to, no one knows
I don't think it will happen before the Note 5 launch(I hope I am wrong though).
Hmmm yes I see the 5.1.1 update is 623mb as well. Very strange to get that 25mb update after none since lollipop came guess the main one will turn up later....must be some kind of preparation update...guess I thought almost everyone had the main update now...

So your not wrong, September's on top of us & the Note 5 is out, still Samsung doesnt give it's late 2014-2015 flagship, Galaxy Note 4 5.1.1 Lollipop. Even Android M is out on preview for a while now to Nexus devices to try. Im so pissed off at the way thing have been. We got their top of the line, best phone & we get treated like ****. If the spec's of Sammy phones werent so good, i'll say goodbye forever to Samsung.
I'll be happy to get 5.1.1 by the end of this year. Android M? ha! gimme 5.1 and we'll talk about Marshmallows!
Flash the stock Marshmallow and Enjoy!.
Its fake as firmware link not even on that page , besides on the update instructions Samsung kies is mentioned though it doesn't work on note 5 , yo need the side stuff program
Where the stock firmware?
something smells a little fishy in here. .
. .is it just me?., you guys smell that
There is a thread here for this

I came from a german (DBT) S7 Edge und did a complete clean flash of the 1st Nougat Beta.
I did to register for the beta (Galaxy beta app crashed before flash of the 1st Beta and also crashes on the beta. Seems only to work if you flashed to a BTU firmware before the beta).
I don't get the OTA to the new beta, it seems you only get it if you registered for the beta.
What is the best way for me to update to the new beta without to reset again?
Flash with odin but use home_csc instead of csc file.

Why don't you get a custom Rom? Its so easy to flash it.
I'm on King Rom V3 since yesterday and it worked very well for me!

Maybe because custom roms trip knox?
Hi there... I flashed the firmware available on this forum including the Home CSC component (in fact I loaded all 4 components into Odin). Once flashed I installwd the Samsung Beta apk. Then, by sheer luck, Samsung reopened the beta program registration and my phone being on Nougat beta 1 already and Home CSC being Dutch (I believe) was allowed to register. Once done I ran the manual software update and was able to get the beta 2 (around 90MB) and once installed ran the manual software check again and it got beta 3 (aroun 300MB) as well. I am now on beta 3 and it's smooth. Worth the effort.
The Beta registration is live again, so maybe you could try registering again via the Samsung Beta Programme app. It worked for me 2 hours ago, good luck!

Maybe because the Sprint Oreo will be using BLv6 so its 2 numbers behind everyone else? lol ... anyone have any thoughts about what the BL-version could possibly be for the Sprint Oreo? ... could they or would they use a BLv4 like everyone else?
that was the Sprint answer

If anything, they would change it to v7. Maybe they are waiting for a merger, which could happen next week
I checked for update today and got 1627.64mb g930pvpu6cre7 Samsung experience 9.0 with oreo.
I haven't gotten an update from Sprint on my S7 since December 2016. I am still on some random Nougat beta version.
I thought a brand new firmware update to Oreo would reset whatever bug was in there causing this, but it looks like one person in my house got the Oreo update and mine is still saying I am up to date when I check manually.
Is there no longer an ODIN for macOS? I thought there was one, but I used it on another Mac maybe 4 years ago when I was on my S3 and rooting it. Doesn't seem to exist anymore.
Just received oreo on my s7 for boost. So far I'm not impressed. I was really hoping for Dolby on this but guess not. The build number is SMG930PVPU6CRE7

On Mac you can use Heimdall to flash the latest Nougat firmware then update through OTA to Oreo. Because there isn't any firmware file yet on Updato or Sammobile.
i manfully updated @ 4:15. they sent it @ 1627.64 mb. still downloading. when I got my att update I tried all the batch root methods for my 935a. saving magisk for last bc I didn't have the boot.img for the cre4 update.
I I only had the "att beta" update from March. long story short it won't boot with the nougat eng.boot. I gave it an hour. I cleared the cache, factory reset, tried to add flash all of the earlier img files I had for oreo, nothing worked. had to flash it back to nougat bra1. I immediately requested the update again. they approved. the next day I attempted to flash magisk 16.4. w/ the modified odin 3.1.3 version. it wouldn't flash. with the cre4 boot.tar in hand, I tried every method on gods green earth to gain some sort of r/w access. it was late, I was tired, I flashed the eng boot. once again it was stuck at the Samsung boot logo. it wouldn't allow me into recovery to push the cre4 update zip. once again I'm back to bra1 nougat. I booted into recovery & updated it from the sd card. when it booted I noticed it wasn't anywhere as clean & polished as the ota I had twice. I've flashed back to brd1 ten times, & requested the ota. after smart switch, I used all the avail windows software I could acquire & kept trying, they won't send it. but they did provide me with a new picture for my samsung account. I'll post it later. gotta check out this 930p oreo.

I don't think Heimdall works on High Sierra or even Sierra anymore.
I'm wanting to move to a SM-930U version of stock android on my 930P. But in struggling to do so for the past couple of weeks I finally figured out that sprint as updated the bootloader to version 5 and most of the firmware images for 930U are version 4 (android 7 nugut). (PU4 vs PU5) which results in a Odin fuse error.
The phone is currently nagging me to go from PU5BQL1 to BU6BRD2. If I understand the nameing convention that would move me to version 6 of the bootloader.
What are the odds I can move to oreo for 930U and avoid the bootloader fuse issue? I think I also understand that as of this posting date a 930U oreo firmware has not been released?

almost zero... asuming that Oreo for "U" Variants step up with BL on this month maybe next one, is something pausible but stepping up two versions in any short time is questionable... but who knows. The best you can do is wait this or the next month for BL update on U variants.
To be clear I'm still on version 5. I will continue to put off the upgrade to 6.
Hello!
I have started a firmware repo thread since I have access to Samsung Fenrir which can be used to download latest firmware for various devices directly from Samsung servers.
I will try to update this regularly but currently consists of over 80gb of firmware already.
I also include R beta update zips for G986U1 and G988U1 mainly which I got some myself and others from the various beta threads.
You can request a device or specific firmware but no guarantee I will upload it or that I can find it. Typically Fenrir downloads the latest firmware so older firmwares might not be posted.

R Beta Zips
I will try to provide and maintain an updated list but for now just open the link/url to see whats currently available.

You my friend, are an amazing person and a saint among mankind. Thank you for your service ?
Thank you very much, my friend,
I want to try to convert my 986w to 986u1 in order to be able to flash the betas.
I already download the files for the BHT4. Is this the first rom that I will have to have before I flash the betas?
In your betas for the U1 your first rom is for 1BTIF to 1ZTJ3. Should i flash first the BTIF instead of BHT4 ?
Is it possible to explain to me the difference between OYM and OYZ ?

i suggest u ask about updates/betas in the beta thread as i dont want this to turn into a beta discussion.. theres already more beta threads than their needs to be..
that being said, obviously if its 1BTIF to 1ZTJ3 then clearly you need to start on 1BTIF..
and oyz is the special bts edition firmware
