So I was trying to tether from my N910C to my old N7000 to try lollipop on it but I couldn't find it. So I narrow it down to having Bluetooth on, when it is off I can find the N910C on my n7000 but no way to see it when Bluetooth is on. No device was/is connected to the Bluetooth at those tries
No one has 2 minutes time to test it?
Today I tried again to tether to a Samsung tab the Internet from my N910C. I tried everything but couldn't find it on the tab at all, as it was not existing. After that I tried if a 5s could find it but that lead to nothing.
Now I think the phone is a refurbished one since it has 2 lines from a black marker on the back where the battery has it's place, top left side, as a X or something like that.
So please ppl check if tether works.
Phone is from Romania a SM-N910C and it is used on Germany, since I wanted a exynos version of note 4.
Thanks for the help
Hi all,
I've been having kind of a strange issue with my Galaxy S4 SGH-1337M. I'll start off with a bit of background info. A few weeks ago my phone started having problems charging, so I replaced the charging port last week. Shortly after replacing the charging port, my S4 started having problems connecting to WiFi and Bluetooth. It's a little odd though. It still connects to WiFi networks occasionally, but when it does, its an extremely weak connection and drops almost immediately. It's the same story with the Bluetooth. It connects fine, but music playback stutters with speakers and my car's stereo. I've already taken it apart again to see if anything looks damaged or if the WiFi antenna was disconnected, but everything looked normal to me. My device is running Android version 5.0.1 and isn't rooted. I really don't know what's going on, and any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello,
u can go heare ==> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=50787570&postcount=2549 . See how to flash your modem, but first you need to know your modem's version ( ie : I337MVLUGOC4 or higher...) to do so, go to your dialer and type : *#1234# your modem version is called CP, google it, download it , flash it with odin, reboot and see if it's working.
If the wifi started after changing the charging port, it could be a loose connection somewhere or there is something wrong with the replacement charging cable.

That didn't work either. I also tried flashing the stock rom, which yielded no result.

I actually tried the old charging port to see if the issue was with the new component, but I still had the same problem with the old connector. I've checked all of the connections and everything, at least to my eyes, appears to be connected securely.
It's not uncommon for the wifi chip on the s4 to stop working. I have two motherboards sitting here that work perfectly except the wifi.

Okay, well I guess that's what happened then. Thanks for the suggestions everyone.
There may still be hope. Where did you get the replacement USB flex cable for the phone? I still say it could be the cable if the replacement was not oem.

I bought the USB port on eBay. The description claimed that it was OEM, but I don't think I would know otherwise. Like I said though, I have already eliminated the new flex cable as the culprit becasue when I reinstalled the old flex cable, the WiFi and Bluetooth were still broken.
The phone has the correct imei? If it does, then the wifi chip is probably defective.
Hi!
I have a small problem with my S5 it's a SM-G900M, it has been rooted before but right now I’m on stock Samsung firmware, and stock recovery.
No matter how much time I leave it outside I can’t get a lock from the GPS. Google maps shows approximate location but that is all, I used GPS status and Toolbox and GPS test to have a more detailed check on the GPS but both apps show it can’t get a fix. I did a full reset (factory reset and cache partition wipe) from recovery to no avail, I even went to a Samsung service center but they say there’s nothing wrong with the GPS sensors, they tried replacing my SIM card but it made no difference.
I also tried replacing my gps.conf with my country specific one without any results.
Thanks!
You took it to the Samsung Service Centre, they told you the sensors were fine, and you didn't question them as to why you were leaving with a still broken GPS?
Try flashing a stock ROM with ODIN
I Tried reflashing, still no luck…
It was my carrier’s Samsung service center, their excuse was it wouldn’t get a proper fix because we were indoors. I’m going to try again today hope they want to admit the problem.
Your reply to that should be "Well let's go outdoors then, considering I'm here because it won't get a GPS lock"
i have the same problem , i got a g900A model and the GPS don't working , then i'll try to Root but i read that model can not be rooted , so i buy a used Logical Board for g900M and still now not working i made root perfectly change many originaly and custom Rom and its not working then someone told me the GPS its on the USB port the Recharge Board so i replace it for other compatible with g900m because there two cable wires one for GPS and other for the GSM so i already have this two cables conected and still not working.
I been using NFC for mobile payment via Optus Pay which is a NFC enable SIM which integrates with the phone's NFC antenna; this worked most of the time. I also use NFC with Yubikey Authenticate and OpenKeychain and while getting the right spot for the antenna to pick up, it always worked.
I recently changed my battery and noticed that my nfc reception has weaken significantly. Thinking that it was a dodgy battery I've put the old battery back in my phone but I'm still getting weak or no signal. I know there have been several firmware updates and I'm wondering if anyone else has been noticing problems? I particularly trying to use Android Pay but Yubikey Authenticate and OpenKeychain have stopped working (being able to read my YubiKey Neo).
Regards
John
Samsung Galaxy S5
SM-G900i
Android 6.0.1
Build number: MMB29M.G900IZTU1CPK2
Kernal version 3.4.0-9647621
Factory reset didn't help
I just factory reset the phone and installed Yubikey Authenticator and it still cannot read it. While I know the Yubikey is working, I have no way testing the NFC other than with this device.
John.
I have this problem on a S9 after changing battery nfc started working weak also
So I got this phone from a sibling, and it was basically used for a month or two back when it released. No scratches or cracks or broken USB port or anything. The day I got it I immediately went to hook it up with service with Metro. I installed a fresh copy of lineage os 16 for obvious reason but the problem is that the WiFi keeps cutting off (mainly with 5ghz WiFi)... I've completely troubleshooted my router (factory reset) and changed WiFi channels... Could this be a problem with the phone itself? or am I missing something? Any tips or solutions would be greatly appreciated.
Sorry for the double post I don't know how to delete
N900t is not this forum .
You require
https://forum.xda-developers.com/note-3-tmobile
Usual is to flash stock firmware via Odin .
