TIP : How to Open SD Card From Microsoft Voice Command

One MORE neat Trick, This will let you open your Storage Card (SD Card) and Storage (ROM STORAGE) and My Documents from Microsoft Voice Command.
If you have Resco File Explorer, its easy, just paste a shortcut for the folder or Storage card in \Windows\Start Menu\ and you are good to go. If you dont wanna buy Resco File Explorer for 24 dollars try this freeware method below. I have tried with another freeware File Explorer - GSFinder, but the same procedure which worked for Resco File Explorer did not work with GSFinder. So here it is........
For this you need to download this tiny 64 Kb file Launch_Storage.zip from here.
The zip file contains four files,
1.MortRunner-2.5.exe --- freeware
2.My Documents.mortrun
3.Storage Card.mortrun
4.Storage.mortrun
MortRunner is like a program which allows to create batch files for the Pocket PC. Yes, You guessed it right, the .mortrun files are batch files which are executed by MortRunner.exe.
What you have to do.........
Step 1:
Connect your JAM to Your PC via USB Cable, Start Activesync.
Step 2:
Run MortRunner-2.5.exe on your PC and when prompted, install it in the Storage of your JAM.
Then from your JAM,
START > PROGRAMS > FILE EXPLORER > MY DEVICE > STORAGE > MORT'S MORTRUNNER
....if you dont find it there then most probably it was installed in the Main Memory, in that case from your JAM,
START > PROGRAMS > FILE EXPLORER > MY DEVICE > PROGRAM FILES > MORT'S MORTRUNNER
Tap on the MortRunner file. A screen will pop up , Tap on OK.
This is done to enable MortRunner to add Registry Entries.
Step 3:
Copy all the rest of the .motrun files, that is, My Documents.mortrun, Storage Card.mortrun, Storage.mortrun from PC to Start Menu of your JAM.
Copy the files From your PC, then from your PC
ACTIVESYNC > EXPLORE > MY POCKET PC > WINDOWS > START MENU, right click > select paste.
STEP 4:
You can rename these files to suit your personalization, Then press the button to activate Microsoft Voice Command ( by default, the calendar button) and say START filename, in my case I didnt change the names of the files.....
.....so for me these commands work
START MY DOCUMENTS
START STORAGE
START STORAGE CARD
I know you will love this, do let me know your feedback,

Just an idea a filemanger that did everything here are feature list.
duplicate File remover

file activity monitor it would check the activity by the times access with an option for like say if a file has not been accessed in a month it would automaticly deleted them with confirmation ofcourse.
wifi file transfer through a sorta wifi ftp lan type of connection would require super file manager on both devices the sending device would start a sort of server connection that would create a virtual directory called wlan - $DEVICE NAME$ . the client( the receiver) would just browse the set directory by the server device ad-hoc file transfer.
Active Sync BT WIFI USB File Access Browse Pc HDD'S through an active sync connection
The Usual File manager Feature
File Compression
Set Bluetooth File Save Location

how can i access the windows folder of my phone?

Hi I am trying to install sqlce3.5 on a rom which dosen't have cf2.0 (cabs don't work) so I was thinking of manually copying the dll files to the windows folder to see what happens but I cant figure out how to access the windows folder from my pc (windows 7 RC if that matters) any ideas?
Via active sync choose the 'explore' options under 'tools' then a window will pop up. The default directory will be your documents folder what you need to do is go up one directory which will then be your device's root folder. Then from there you'll see the windows folder.
on windows 7 you have to use device manager and when i choose browse device it take to me choose either phone memory or memory card, if i choose phones memory the windows folder is not present and it cannot be seen even if i choose show hidden folders.
any ideas?
After device has sync'ed with pc, just open up your file explorer on your pc. Open 'My Computer' and then scroll down to 'Mobile Device'. If you expand this you should be presented with a list. Open 'My Windows Mobile-Based Device' and scroll down to 'Windows'
Thats the problem I am having I can get to the root just fine but when I am there the windows folder is not present like it is hidden, using view hidden folders dosen't help and typing in the path gets an error message saying it does not exist. I wanted to do this through windows but i suppose I will have to do it through the phones browser instead.

Click to collapse
Open your file explorer on your pc, go to Tools > Folder Options > View and make sure 'Hide protected operating system files (Recommended)' is unticked
Other than this I'm not sure why its not showing

APK Installer for Windows

If you're constantly downloading APK packages from the Internet, you'll know how annoying it is to copy them to the SD card. So, with this application, you can just click one from anywhere on your PC to install it onto your phone!
SYSTEM APP INSTALLING DOESN'T WORK YET.
THIS PROGRAM SOMETIMES DOESN'T WORK.
Prerequisites
- ADB environmental variable set up
(Cornea, one of my programs available on XDA, can do the same thing for you).
- Windows
- ADB drivers for your phone
- APKinstaller.bat
1. Enable USB debugging.
2. Right-click any APK file, then choose Open With. Tick 'Always use the selected program to open this kind of file'.
3. Click Browse.
4. Find APKinstaller.bat, then double-click it.
5. In the textbox, type "Android package file (double-click to install)".
6. Now, the APK will install.
To install an APK in the future, just double click it!
