Same problem..Whatsapp, spotify and i think other apps too even with every power manager setting turned off keep being killed by the power manager itself. A reboot fix the problem but it comes again few hours later. No solution for now. I tried every possible thing to fix it. The last thing i did was disable these apps packages from the doze list via ADB. Still not sure if it works.

I too am having the same issue. It comes and goes, but is overall unreliable. I have turned off all power saving features for Whatsapp but sometimes it still happens.
Thread on the ZTE site.

Did any of you restore whatsapp from titanium backup? If so, that's your issue

I am also having this issue. Disabled all the power saving settings. I have to un-install and re-install Whatsapp every few days to resolve this issue.

same problem..
no fix yet.. restart sometimes work sometimes it does not.

Perhaps convert the app to a system app when rooted f.e. with link2sd. Set power savings if possible again to a minimum, reboot and test. Might help.

Anyone ever resolve this issue?, I need to stay on marshmallow

This is not a stock rom issue. It happened on literally every rom that I used. To fix it you have to reinstall the whole system.
It happened on certain installs of ROMs on my old Moto G2. AICP, CM13, CM14.1, AOKP, you name it. As you may guess none of them had some failed power management system.

Having this problem on B25 (B32 just came out so I'll try that soon), but I did restore from Titanium. Never a problem on the LOS based ROMs. I'll try backing up chats, then uninstall, reinstall through google play, restore.. see if that works.

flashing data in manage applications

Anyone else go into the app screen on manage applications and see all the data flashing and the buttons too. I have to exit and go back in several times to get a stable screen to be able to the clear data or cache
Any particular app, or all of them? Are you using Titanium, or running a custom ROM?
I've never seen this until last week. I flashed the Virtuous Unity ROM, then tried to restore ChompSMS via Titanium Backup. Chomp SMS kept giving me force closes. Going to that app in Manage Applications gave me flashing, non-responsive buttons like you described. Hitting the Back button, and selecting the app again, made the buttons behave normally. Restoring Chomp using Titanium kept giving me the same result, whether I restored with app data or not. Just uninstalling the app, and installing the original APK fixed the problem. Not sure if the Titanium backup data was somehow corrupted, or what. But it seems fine now, and I haven't noticed this issue with any other apps (including ones restored from Titanium).
If the app is not one where you need to keep the data, just uninstall the program and re-install, and see if that helps.
EDIT: I see from your other posts, that you are also on Unity. So perhaps its some bug or incompatibility in the ROM? It would help if you mentioned things like running a custom ROM, when asking about an issue.

Its a known issue with unity. I believe the sensation has exactly the same problem with the stock rom

Screen not rotating?

Just noticed the screen on my phone won't rotate, no matter what I do. Anyone else with same problem? . Is this a bug or software problem.

How did you fix it? I'm also experiencing no rotation.
Edit: Cleared the cache, all seems fine now...
I'm also experiencing no rotation with some camera apps. It always records video as if I'm holding the phone sideways. I unticked all the xposed modules I have and wipe cached with twrp and the app's cache but the problem still persists.

The previous posts reminded me that Google maps had given me the option to stop the screen from rotating. I tried to find where to turn rotation back on but couldn't find it. So, I went i to app manager in my phone and cleared the cache and data for the maps app.
when that alone didn't work, I restarted my phone. Now rotation is working again. Good luck, hope this helped.

Maybe is illegal to record vertical videos in your country. Just a joke.
Some apps, like Horizon have that feature to record videos always horizontally no matter how you hold the phone.

Updated from 4.4 to 6.0.1, rooted, installed Xposed and a few modules, uninstalled and freezed some apps via titanium backup and got that problem, too.
Does anybody have a new idea how to solve that?

Have you read this thread?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/note-4/help/question-mm-users-uninstalling-facebook-t3363211
I read so many threads but none could help me solve the issue.
So I guess the only way is to re-flash the stock firmware and then use another App to delete these facebook apps.
Really annoying as I just finished setting up anything as I wanted it to be.

I think you only need the libgnustl_shared.so file, no need to flash ROM again.
Poorly only libgnustl_shared.so didn't work out for me.
Luckily reflashing the ROM did work out.
I've done some testing removing bloatware and noticed it's Titanium Backup's fault... If I use any other tool to remove bloatware I don't face this problem with the rotation... I had to reflash the custom rom I'm using several times to reach this conclusion...

I had the same problem, & for whatever reason that version of the file failed to work for me. I had success with this one, following the same steps. https://www.4shared.com/file/ivpHIjB...tl_shared.html

Unable to load webpages

As stated in the title, I can't load any web pages in Chrome, Firefox, and several other browsers. My wifi is fully functional, but I can't load anything related to web pages. So using the XDA App, I can browse the fourms fine, but if I were to open a link to Google or anything, it will crash and return to the XDA App. This occurs when I try opening links from apps like Facebook as well.
At first, I thought this was a ROM problem or something to do with my apps, so I format and decrypted my phone and clean flashed OOS 5.0.4. It seems to work well for some time, but returned a good hour later. Restarting each time it happens seems to fix it for a short while, but I am quite annoyed of constantly restarting because of this.
I've searched around and it doesn't seem like anyone else has this particular problem with their OP5s so I'd like to fix this up if I can.
I am still on OOS 5.0.4, but now with NewKernel 1.29 from the OP5T thread. I'm also rooted with Magisk beta v16.2 and have the Pixel 2 Oreo WiFi v4, OnePlus Camera M, NotoColorEmoji Patch Modules along with a systemless font module installed.

Yeah, each time it happens I try swapping from WiFi to data, but no difference. I'm currently trying to see if it was due to restoring a certain backup from Titanium Backup. I did recently find a post speaking of the problem, but for the use of debloater somehow affecting it. So it may also be due to the loss a system app.

You said you did already a clean installtion. So clean install again without any restore of settings and 3rd party apps not provided by the rom :good:

I feel like an idiot for not remembering about doing that.
I've clean flashed and left all the apps enabled and the problem hasn't appeared again. After taking a TWRP backup of that (just in case I mess up something again) I rooted without any modules other than the WiFi Mod(which I did feel like it being one of the causes, but it helped with connection speed) and the systemless font module and tried restoring only user app data(so a fresh install from the play store and then a app data restore, not touching system apps at all) and thankfully it didn't cause any problems, so I got to restore some data back.
Thank you for the advice of actually just clean flashing again, cause I was actually slowly uninstalling and restoring my apps. I apologise for not posting as soon as I found the fully clean installation working, as I really couldn't help myself and try see if it was due to having root and my user apps. Once again, thank you for your help with my problem here. If it appears again, I'll probably post here again if it happens again (hopefully it doesn't).

Guys, an easier way is this. Just turn on Battery Saver mode and your update or download will start immediately...

I don't think that's the case, because it took quite a lot of time

You can also delete Google Play Services cache, this works pretty well in those cases. Even if you have problems trying to download a device system update.
Even it's data (in this case you'll have to add an account for Google's data backup again).
However, keep in mind this kind of processes won't work well if you have enabled apps, device features or Magisk modules that force device to save battery in some way.

Would be good to tell us which system you've installed.
Any custom ROM? Are you in stock?
On the first case, check ROM installation.
If it came with gapps preinstalled, better flash an updated version of that ROM (clean or dirty would change, depending of Android major verion in which that update is based), otherwise flash another gapps, I use OpenGapps.Try to flash, at least, nano gapps.
If you're on stock, things are quite different, since there you haven't the same way so solve things, more than than reflashing firmware.

Stock Android One version 9 (Pie) with regular updates. :silly:
Looks like something is screwed up there.
Is your device rooted?
I feel that would be better to backup your data and flash latest firmware with Mi Flasher tool.
The same is happening some times and on my A1 and is fully updated stock rom without root or any other thing...
I think it has to do with the latest version of Google store or Google services...

Apps Update atleast Thrice

Hi All,
So I'm facing this weird issue, where my app updates from the Google Play Store don't seem to stick.
I started having this problem when I was using LOS, and I thought maybe the ROM was the issue. But then, I switched to OOS, same thing.
An app will update and play store will show all apps updated. Then after a few hours the app will update again, and then once more. Usually the update sticks after the third update.
Also, even though I haven't kept a log, but it doesn't seem specific to some apps, it appears to be the case with all apps.
I use Magisk for Titanium Backup. But nothing else.
Also, I thought this was an issue with apps restored with Titanium Backup, but that isn't the case.
PS: I haven't tried without Magisk, as I wouldn't want to use the phone without that.
Any ideas?

Currently using Magisk on OOS and I do not have this issue, so root isn't the issue. I think it may have to do with the play store itself, as it doesn't seem to actually update the apps until the third time like you said. The only two solutions I can come up with are as followed:
1. Hold down on the play store app and clear the data on it and then disable the app (Make sure the option to go back to the factory version comes up after you press disable) and then re-enable the app again. Open it and see what happens afterwards. The idea is to get the play store to re-update itself and fix the issue.
2. Get on a computer and fastboot flash OOS again and see if it persists after you get your phone set up again.
