Galaxy Grand Prime SM-G530/H/DV
Hi
I have Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime SM-G530/H/DV model . I did factory Reset . Then TouchWiz stopped problem arose. I disabled TouchWiz and installed APUS Launcher. That worked fine. Then I want to give cell to another person. I did Factory Reset again. After this the following problems arose.
1- A pop up massage during booting arose. “Unfortunately Process com. Android. systemUI has been stopped”
2- Above mentioned message hang the cell on Main Screen, I can not operate any function.
3- IMEI No. INVALID.
4- Mobile cannot be accepted connection with PC, ODIN, Kies etc.
Kindly guide me in this regard as I am a beginner in the matter of programming etc.

Seems like the EFS partition is broken (IMEI Invalid)
If You don't have any backups done by custom recovery, well... You're probably done.
I am having a similar problem. After enabling KNOX, which I thought was just another antivirus, my phone rebooted, and just got stuck. It would go to the boot page, with the name, and then it would act like it was gonna go to my home screen, but the screen would go black and it would start over. I cleared the cache and factory wiped it, but still no luck. I didn't enable usb debugging, and from what I know there is no way to enable it. I need it to use odin to flash a rom and start over. any suggestions?

Hey, thank you for the help!
It starts and it doesn't! With the battery, after I try to turn on, it keeps blinking repeatedly and stops only if I remove the battery. And my issue with any fix that I try to flash is that the computer doesn't recognize, probably cuz the blinking blue light is just a random light and not the phone actually trying to turn on... so Odin, for example, doesn't catch any device!
Is there any way to make the computer recognize it? I already tried some usb drivers, but nothing so far... BTW, I have a windows 10.
Thanks!

Well Windows 10 64bit has been creating problems for many many people in the forum and I have seen people running vm and win 7 for the best results. And something very important I must say is that, most of the new computers do have USB 2.0 ports but they are limited in number, so you should find one on ur PC, to us it specifically for phone tweaking softwares. I would suggest you find another PC or laptop around,

Without recovery or Download mode, you'll need to take it to someone with a black box or jtag.
If you can access a working phone of your same model, you can boot download mode from sd

Are you able to get into download mode (press and hold Volume -, Home, and Power)? If so, head over to sammobile.com or samsung-updates.com and download the latest ROM for your device. To know which ROM to get, you need to know what carrier you are using and the model of the S4. Once the ROM is downloaded, install it via Odin to stop your bootloop. Afterwards, root, then install TWRP 2.8.6.0. Do not install Philz as that recovery is no longer being developed, and may not function correctly with Android 5.0.1 or later.

yes i can get into download mode but i have some problemes :
1) odin always crash on my pc it happens every time i connect everything as i need to and then when i click start it crash and i dont know why i tried to serch via web but.... nothing.
2) i dont know realy what is my model the only thing that i know is : galaxy s4 i9505 is there any way i can know without looking inside the phone in setting.
thank you for everthing!!!
For Odin, try a different port on your PC, always use the original USB cable whenever possible, and make sure Kies isn't installed or if installed, isn't running. Try a different PC if necessary.
Regarding your S4, is it unlocked? If not, what carrier are you using, and what country are you located in?
Hi guys,
I own a Galaxy Note 4 (N910H) and have rooted it before without any problem.
Long story short I wanted to install a custom rom and on the instruction says I need to reset my device to factory before I actually install it (because mine is 4.4.4).
I successfully reset it back to factory settings, however when I tried to install the rom an error occured.
When my device restarted it goes into a boot loop.
So I go into the recovery mode and delete the caches and what not (even selecting the reset to factory setting again).
When my device restart it is stuck at the boot sreen (samsung galaxy blablabla) and it DOESNT LOOP, it just stuck there and I am unable to go into recovery mode.
I tried to reflash it using odin (i can access the downloading mode) up to no avail.
My device is detected by odin (com:x) but when I pressed start it stuck at setup connection and after a while I got the Fail message.
Now I am at a loss and have no idea what else to do. Tried kies, doesnt work either.
Kies doesnt even recognize the connection to my phone.
Any help would be appreciated.
NB: I'm a newb at this so please bear with me (and yes I kind of ****ed up)
Thanks

If I'm not mistaken you have Kies installed? If that is the case I would recommend you uninstall it. Then manually download the Samsung USB drivers
http://developer.samsung.com/technical-doc/view.do?v=T000000117
Reboot your PC just to be sure.
Then make sure your device isn't connected to the charger or computer and remove the battery and after 10 seconds reinsert the battery and manually boot into Download Mode (Home + Volume Down while holding the power button.)
Then connect your phone to the your PC and run Odin as Admin and try to flash the firmware.
I would also recommend that the firmware you are flashing is the correct one and is not corrupted.
You can check the firmware from Sammobile and after the download check the MD5Sum and then extract the zip file to get the firmware file.
Good luck and report back.

If you are using Odin version 3.09 or above it's AP, otherwise it's PDA.

Thanks Battlehero! now I finally get my galaxy note back to work again.
Now let's say if I want to Root my device again, is it as simple as installing CWM or TWRP and then install a custom rom?

If you want to root your current rom then install a custom recovery (TWRP) recommended then flash SuperSU Current release: https://download.chainfire.eu/740/SuperSU/BETA-SuperSU-v2.49.zip
You can always hit the 'Thanks Button' to show your appreciation. It's nice to see you fixed your issue.

I don't have your model of phone, I've got SM-S820L. Have you tried booting into ODIN mode?
If you haven't tried that, I would do so and try using ODIN to flash a firmware update. You will need Samsung Drivers, a new release of ODIN3, and Kies or Kies3.
There are some good guides on this site that can push you along your way to full recovery of your phone.:good:

I'm sending you a PM right now my friend!
My son took his Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge SM-935R4 and has his friend root the device. 2 days later it got stuck in a bootloop and we factory reset the phone. I then explained to him we needed to get this root off and get it back to factory settings. I since used Odin to Flash the stock firmware onto the device but it got stuck on "setup connection." I used 3 different USB cords and 2 different computers and now I can only get to the download mode or recovery mode. In recovery mode I have reset to factory and all it does it boot back to recovery mode. Nothing I do seems to be helping. I am willing to donate $50 through paypal to anyone who can get my device up and running ASAP as my son has been without a device for nearly a month and I really can't get him a new one right now.

Download samfirm here from xda and download all 4 Firmware files(BL, AP, CP and CSC) for your phone and Flash it with Odin.

do you still need help?
Download your firmware, flash it with Odin and use CSC (not home_csc) and tick repartition - but be sure you selected BL, AP, CP and CSC!
When I had problems I also ticket nand erase all and phone EFS clear - but this could brick your phone if something goes wrong.
If your phone isn't recognized in DL-mode reinstall the Samsung mobile driver and check if your USB drivers are up2date.
