ADB Not Working After OTA 4.2.2 Update-Linux Ubuntu

I know you need the latest version of ADB to get it working correctly on the latest update 4.2.2. I installed ADB and fastboot via a repository and was wondering if anyone knows how it update them without installing the whole Android SDK. The current version via the repository is 1.0.29.

With this package you can upgrade your adb version.

Any way to root 5.1.1 wear version

Is the anyway to root 5.1.1 version of android wear ?
Is there also a way to revert back to 5.0.2 ?

I just used the windroid universal tool for my gear live and worked fine.
As for reverting back I'm not sure about that due to thd OTA automatic updates.. But you can use the same tool to flash a 4.4w image (that later will update itself via OTA)

If there is a TWRP recovery for your watch, then you use it to root your device. However, I haven't figured out how to launch apps as root from watch itself. The supersu installer crashes.

Ok guys, I found a way to do it. For those who wants root.
I'm using Smartwatch 3.
1. I firts used Windroid Tool, it pushed SuperSU.zip to my watch
2. I downloaded new_boot.img.tar from this thread.
3. I extracted the tar file, and used a command prompt windows and used "adb reboot bootloader" then "fastboot boot new_boot.img".
4. Now from TWRP I managed ti install SuperSU.zip
That's it !

Update to Oreo via computer

I'm currently rooted using Magisk and no TWRP installed.
I'm not getting the Oreo notification so I'd like to do it manually.
Should I use Mi Flash or AIO tool?
If I use Mi Flash, what's the procedure (it'd be great if you could link an already written post)

Your Fire tablet have disabled an important system apps.
Can you download the firmware on Amazon website and side load it from ADB and in recovery mode and try again to unlock and root.
