My XT1572 was on stock single sim (asia).
I found that the sim tray have 02 slot. So I try to install dual sim stock version but I have some problem with ADB/ fastboot, it always fail when I code follow instrucion to install STOCK dual sim via ADB Fastboot.
Then I flashed TruPureXMM 2.9 ( in Follow this steps
- Flash TruPureXMM (in install option, i choose: dual sim india, frankenclark kernel)
- Flash TruPureXMM-2.6.4_Indian_dual_sim_build-prop.zip (fix from TruPureXMM thread)
- Extract dual sim stock to ADB/FASTBOOT folder
-flash this two by ADB/FASTBOOT
fastboot erase modemst1
fastboot erase modemst2
Then Dual sim work on my XT1572.
My problem is when I flashed AICP 7.1/CM14(from single stock version or DualSim Trupurexmm), rom was very smooth but it can detected only 01 sim.
Here is my step:
- full wipe included system
- flash AICP 7.1/CM14
- Flash gapps.
I also try to flash with wipe except system but dual sim still dont work.
Please help me to how to active dual sim on AICP 7.1 or CM14
Thank you so much

Okay so 1st flash the latest stock rom from
http://www.filefactory.com/file/66l...S24.107-58-1_cid7_subsidy-DEFAULT_CFC.xml.zip
U may have flashed wrong modem which resulted in not detecting the sim...
And after this stock rom do it from beginning..
Unlock bootloader
Install twrp
Flash rom
Flash gapps
It'll work surely..

First, sorry for the weird question format. The space for the question is too limited IMO.
Why can't we get ROOT + Marshmallow on the brazilian dual sim version of the XT1572?
I tried:
1 - AOSP updating to Marshmallow, flashing newest twrp, flashing some boot_root.img and then flashing beta supersu. Issue: No carrier data (No phone, no 3g/4g).....
2 - Tried flashing different ROMs made for XT1572 (didn't specify dual sim, though, except for one) and XT1757, but... Issue: either it would not flash for some weird reason or I would have no WiFi/carrier data......
3 - Followed this guide ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-x-style/general/how-to-flash-marshmallow-european-moto-t3253343 ) to go back to Lollipop and flash MM from the update provided, reflash twrp and supersu and ... Issue: No Wifi.........
Please shed some light on this dark path I've been in...
I was on indian_mm_deodexed_rooted then flashed TruPureXMM as one of my friends suggested trying it out as it is smooth etc.
I didn't knew that it is Pure single sim version and after flashing no network and then i checked only single sim showed :crying: then i again formated and flashed back indian_mm_deodexed_rooted and modem_indian_mm_fixed but this time it shows two sims with no network atall and Emergency calls on both... In settings SIM cards its SIM 1 emty and SIM 2 empty :crying::crying: tried flashing with indian modem again and also tried lp modem but nothing is working, please help :crying::crying:
Both IMEI Unknown status.
I didn't even took back of my stock as i didn't knew about it before
Bootloader is unlocked and TWRP is installed.
Note: My x style came with lollipop and then i did official update with marshmallow and then i wanted to root so flashed.
Please help me get back dual sim with network if possible
EDIT: Solved the issue now and here is the solution:
Download Stockrom from this link according to your exact model and follow the commands exactly:
[Firmware] Moto X Style/Pure Stock Software by lAndroXl
I just ignored command fastboot oem lock begin as told by @dj_ooms so boot loader is still unlocked and also i have installed TWRP and rooted by flashing SuperSu.
Also very important thing is take nandroid backup after installing TWRP i.e backup your stock rom by selecting backup in TWRP... please also take backup your EFS partition also, thanks
@dj_ooms @Unicornzz and @bw03
 Thank you guys for your valuable replies and thanks to lAndroXl uploader and thread... really helped
Use the ROM from here.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-x-style/development/rom-indian-marshmallow-variants-t3253684
Edit: you may get the modem working with just flashing the modem zip but I'm not sure as I don't have a dual sim phone to try. You can try it. If that doesn't work, then flash the ROM.

Did you do a dirty or clean flash? I would use twrp to wipe everything but external sd card, then flash ROM and modern.

If you check my modem thread i posted last night try the code at the bottom after you have flashed the India Dual sim modem you already have, it purges the cache's for modem/general cache
If your still struggling after that ill see what files i have stored away for modems, Im sure i have another dual sim modem other than the indian one..
Edit:
Packaging you afew flashable zip's now with Dualsim Modems for the XT1572
You may need to do the Indian LP modem from the first linked thread too.

Try both LP and MM one
I don't agree how you got shafted into this mess, ROM Makers should NEVER package Radio/Modem or Bootloader files in with a ROM ever.
When i release mine in the coming weeks it will be X175x with all the optional modem files or none at all.
Best of luck to you

Stock ROMs
Have you tried the guide in this thread?:
[Firmware] Moto X Style/Pure Stock Software
You will need a computer and to follow the guide exactly and will lose all data off your internal storage so back up your sdcard to external storage or computer beforehand. Flashing this solved my problems when I had them. Just make sure you back up things before you start. The ROMs are completely stock so you will need to root and install a custom recovery again once done.
Hope this helps.

The bootloader will stay unlocked this way meaning you can flash TWRP after. I would flash as above first and once the phone is booted and confirmed to be working, I would then flash TWRP and other mods. On a note, I have an EU XT1572 so I only had 9 parts on the system flash part (upto system.img_sparsechunk.8). The dual sim version may have 10 or more parts. Check how many parts you have beforehand and make sure you flash all bits.
Hope this helps.

Does it matter if the ROM is encrupted?
I mean i am on locked bootload, china dev 6.9.9
I want to move to global stable 8.0.1 .. so fastboot rom via EDL should work fine, isnt it?
How do I unlock my bootloader on cm14? You have mentioned in second step to make sure the bootloader is unlocked before flashing MIUI 6.7.21 but MiFlashUnlock cannot unlock the bootloader.

for that u need just 1 modem file to flash.. and everything is fine.
Or just backup every partition with alka before flashing cm14 and afterward restore it (ignore firmware) to have your previous rom back with the data and everything and no flashing required. People just overcomplicate things. I've done this with every single combination of roms and bootloaders ... And it always works.
Miui lp, miui mm,cm13, cm14, aosp, you name it

we cant unlock bootloader sometimes, the only way to revert back is fastboot flash via edl

As I have seen many people are facing issues regarding volte not working on android q roms. This can be solved by following the below procedure.
1) Flash stock Zui 3.5 through qfil
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1xWGFtcMZhMeOAsmASj4fwJzzbHOZZwdj/view
2) Boot into the rom and make sure that volte is working
3) Now unlock the bootloader and without booting back into system go to fastboot and flash recovery.
4) Flash the latest twrp and then wipe data/system/dalvic/cache.
5) Now flash any Andorid Q rom and reboot to system
6) You will be able to use volte now.
Note:- Make sure your sim is inserted into slot 1 or else volte might not work.
