Did any one have already rooted the g906s with the office android 5.0.1 ? Help!! If anyone had already rooted it , please tell me how to root because I cound not found any way to root......

i have rooted G906K.
Flash TWRP and then flash Superuser.zip
So easy

Is your g906K in 3GB ram version with 32GB ROM and 805 CPU( the Korean version one ) ? Because I have not rooted yet and it is hard for me to replace the new ROM(a bad contact withthe 8nternet and hard for me to download the ROM )
Also , can anyone help me to try using this Abd root the g906s(Korean version)?thank you??

Thank you for your help it seems like better for me to root the S5 LTD-A because it seems like more quickly than before

MIUI 8 Official Global Dev LP 5.1 For RN3(kenzo).

I just found it didnt tried but you can do clean flash using Fastboot rom or flash it using twrp.

Kenzo recovery rom size is 1.2 gb while recovery rom size for kate is 1.4 gb.

Cofface twrp without EFS, used alka twrp which was a modified version of cofface twrp.

If you want to flash custom recovery then bootloader need to unlocked.

Are you sure Ashwinrg because as in my previous device(lenovo a7000) I flashed custom recovery using sp flash tool with out unlocking the bootloader.
Further if you have any suggestions for rooting k5 note pls tell me. I will be very thankful to you.

I am sure flashing custom recovery needs unlocked bootloader. Have you checked your Lenovo a7000 bootloader status after flashing custom recovery.
Still no methods available for unlocking bootloader and root for Lenovo k5 note and no custom recovery available for k5 note

I think we can install custom recovery using mtk tool. Although this app requires root. You can get root access on Android5.1 via kingroot. Try this method hope this will work

I don't think so but I didn't try it. Mtk droid tools doesn't work for my device.

Sure Thing Before U Flash TWRP make sure u go to stock recovery first then reboot device after you have done that flash twrp if this doesn't work can u please Give me info for e.g. (J5-model) (What Version Android) I had the same thing happen to me too :fingers-crossed:

Before flashing you also need to enable oem unlock from developer settings, and untick autoreboot option from Odin. And start your phone manually.

After doing the process you simply press during 10 seconds vol down+power button to restart your phone, or push battery out ,put in again and start your phone manually.

Ok make sure u have downloaded the correct twrp for your device of u search XDA type "How to install Twrp on Samsung galaxy J5 2015 marshmellow"

Just search the oficial twrp by vince2678 here in j5 development tab and flash it. I don't know why people relies in that old and outdated builds...

In most of the cases such failures are usually caused by locked BL. Since that is not the case, try using the latest Lineage OS TWRP for ZMP M1 and try to disable dm-verity.
These are just friendly advices and do not guarantee any solution, of course !

i can't flash TWRP it's say Write Protected and I can't boot TWRP using "Fasboot boot twrp.img" its say failed any solution?

I tried also the fastboot format recovery...and not work : I received msg "write protected"

If your phone is rooted try Flashify, but make a backup of phone before using it.
