Your device was rooted before so you cannot enable knox protection.
Root means game over for knox
Go to download mode you if it says 0x1 then your device was rooted before it's over you cannot enable knox protection anymore.
Previously root kok knox active protection corrupted?

Hi
I rooted my phone yesterday, factory reset it, cause I wanted an fresh start and then rooted agian now.
But when I search softwareupdate, it says that my OS have been changed in an unauthorised way.
I guess that cause the knox 0x1, but how do I update my Samsung Galaxy S5 from now on to newer versions?
Any step by step guide or some links would be great, as I'm lost and new at this.
I mainly rooted to save power with apps like Greenify, Du Power Saver (reduce CPU) and so.
Thanks in advance.

Once you have rooted, you cannot update via OTA but you still can download the stock firmware for your device and flash it using Odin or Kies.
To obtain the latest stock firmware for your device, install Phone INFO ★Samsung★ app > Menu > 'Firmware Browser'.
With this app you can also check for the Knox counter and many important info for your device.
As an FYI - in case you didn't know rooting your phone voids your warranty with Samsung
hello,
i tried to root my S5 and it worked now i removed my Root with Super Su un root option and i wanna return it like it was before, but seems it does working
cuz my knox is not working so when i try go to my phone options and try update the android ver it says i massed up with my phone settings so i can not now.
how i can return it to normal
my build is
KOT49.G900FXXU1ANG7
android 4.4.2

seems i can not find anywhere Kot49 files to somehow unbrick it
or is there way restore my knox so i can update my phone ?
This is not brick ... when you root your phone you triggered the knox to 0x1 and there is no cure for this now
u want to update phone using OTA method is it? over the air method right? if yes simply flash ur firmware using odin then u will back to stock status and get updates from ota. hope that helps. once knox counter move up to 1, for now u cant get it off.
Hi!
I was not aware of this issue before I rooted my Galaxy A5 2016. Android 7.0
To unroot it Ii install the latest firmware using Kies but after that I wasn't able to use Knox.
It shows this error when I try to open Knox
"My Knox cannot be installed because unauthorized software has been installed on your device."
Please help me to fix this...
No way to return back.
Hi, let me just get this straight.
I installed TWRP on my J730G and then installed SuperSU afterwards. Tried the available custom roms I can download from here, but unfortunately, there was none that's stable and not buggy for the J730G-DS at the moment.
I had to flash stock firmware from odin and then just installed TWRP and SuperSU alone.
Now, I'm always getting this "Security Notice" notification
(screenshot attached) telling me there was unauthorized actions have been detected and I need to restart.
Restarted my phone several times but Im still getting the notification.
Can anyone help me get rid of this please? Thanks!

Correction: The warning appears after rooting. Therefore, after reflashing stock firmware via odin , the warning disappeared but it came back when I rooted the phone.
Managed to get rid of it with the help of @h.nocturna 's guide from the Galaxy S7 Edge: https://forum.xda-developers.com/tmobile-s7-edge/how-to/guide-post-root-common-bugs-fixes-t3427600
Bug #3: Notification warning that system has been modified.
Fix #1: Disable com.samsung.android.securitylogagent & com.tmobile.pr.adapt using your favorite package disabler. This will hide all notifications associated with this app as well as the root check that you might have encountered.
Fix #2: This fix requires Xposed. You can follow the instructions to install Xposed HERE.
Then install the Xposed module NotifyClean, activate the module, and reboot the phone. You will then use this app to block the notification under the package com.samsung.android.securitylogagent by clicking on the package so that it is highlighted red. The notification should disappear!
Note: This app can also be used to hide the icon for WiFi Calling if it's annoying you. You can still use the WiFi calling function while hiding the notification.

I think in new samsung devices all roms and root developers say in the steps now you void your warrenty
So you are responsble for what you doing here
Sorry to say that
All you can do try to flash full firmware of your country may be fix samsung pay bot 100% sure
@anurag hacker
since your knox become 0x1, your warranty is void and it effect you based knox app like securefolder, sbrowser private mode, samsung health and also your samsung pay. If you want use the samsung pay you can try search in xda thread about mod samsung pay that can use with rooted device.
Edit: you can try use custom kernel that have fake knox.
There's a simple trick to get s health working
This is the reason I won't root any Samsung phones, unless they're outdated.

Root is far more valuable than some silly secure folder or Samsung pay. Which in any case can all be re-enabled with the right mods.
If you want something secure, store it in the cloud.
If you don't mind about modifying the ROM, then delete this Security Log Agent. It's the part of the Knox suite by the way.
Honestly I wouldn't implement Knox on ANY Samsung phone except for some really serious corporate devices. It's useless. As if Google's partly ugly security patches were not enough, we're also having Knox on our heads.

Issue is due to tripping your knox.
How can i fix it
Once Knox is tripped that's it there is no 'fix'
At the moment the only way to fix is replace motherboard or buy a new phone
Just means you cannot use some Samsung related apps like secure folder,Samsung pay Samsung private browser etc.

Eh, that's not a bad thing... There are plenty of way better alternatives on Gplay or F-Droid
There are 3 potential ways around it:
1. Custom ROMs based on stock that software set the Knox to be 0x0 (not tripped).
2. Use Magisk and hide your root on that app in particular.
3. Download a modded APK of Samsung browser that doesn't check for root
