Getting Full Desktop Backup request - Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Questions and Answers

Hello all,
I just bought new S7 Edge AT&T on black Friday. It is not rooted or anything. This morning my phone is on wireless charger and I see notification for "Full Desktop Backup has been requested". I canceled the request from phone screen.
Is my phone compromised and is it possible for someone else to request full back of my phone over wireless?
Please, Help me out as google wasn't much help. Thanks

Do you have Helium backup enabled? That's a normal thing to see on Helium.

No I do not have Helium or any other backup app. I am using Smart Switch to backup my phone on mac. It was shutoff when i got this notification this morning.

I got same message again this morning.
It says" A full backup of all data to a connected desktop computer has been requested. Do you want to allow this to happen? If you did not request the backup yourself, do not allow the operation to proceed......"

Samsung Link Destroying my battery

Since I opened and set-up Samsung Link, its always been the 1st of second reason of battery drain. I'm not sure why. I dont even use it. I know freezing it would be the simplest solution, but i like to know why it does that and not just skip to the easiest solution.
Anybody have this issue?

I use Link regularly and don't have this problem. The only thing I can think of looking through the settings is auto upload. I have it turned off. Might be possible it is turned on, on your device. If not then I am not sure either.

i checked that before. Also i cant greenify it because its a system app. If this continues, i'll have to freeze it

Viber problem

I am using samsung galaxy s5 neo, stock firmware not rooted, and whenever i lock my phone, viber goes offline and i dont receive messages/calls unless I re-open viber.

This is ON. But this problem hapend with 4g also. Not only with wifi.
Check sync profile for viber, is it on?

Where is that?
So firstgo to settings 》accounts and see if viber sync contacts is turned on and than go to wifi networks 》advanced and check wifi always on

But I have done hard reset. From recovery. And the problem is still here. I can't understand.

I finally wiped the phone and restored apps using Titanium Backup.

Any ideas on a fix for a non rooted GS7 on Verizon doing the same thing?
Make sure you dont jave any disabled app that might be causing it. Try going to settings and application manager and reset prefrences

SafetyNet failing

So I went to setup Android Pay and got this message:

I wiped Android Pay's app data and same results. So I ran a SafetyNet test and it failed.
I'm obviously not rooted or bootloader unlocked. I remember it working before. Any ideas why it won't? Anybody else on G935TUVU2APC have this issue? I'm hoping I don't have to wipe my device via Odin and start over...
EDIT: PROBLEM SOLVED. APPARENTLY USING THE CONDENSED DPI OPTION BREAKS IT. SWITCHING BACK TO STANDARD VIEW FIXES IT.

Wow, thanks, that was it. Lmao sucks but I guess if I use Android Pay I'll revert to the standard DPI. Good to know.

Remote Call & Pull

Hey guys I've searched and cannot figure out what this means - just today when making phone calls as soon as the other party picks up the phone my S8 goes into some Mode called remote call with a pull option I have no idea what this means can anybody help?

The Verizon rep fixed it it was something called integrated messaging on the account that had to be removed it's apparently a known bug that they're working on

this is known bug that they're working on. just need to wait for update
I don't know of a permanent solution, but if you go into setting and reset network it gets rid of it til the next system update.
