Read the thread carefully....he can instal playstore with GMS app from huawei...there are posts here to see how can it be...its very easy...you cant instal Europe rom...there are so many bugs....its too early
Do the OTAs to latest, somewhere past 125 will let you I stall GMS and Play.

My problem is that the device does not accept GSM network. It's only set for CHINA GSM.

Yes, it doesn't without some trickery (which you will find here if you look), but it may be removed after subsequent firmware updates. The international models (MHA-L29 and L09) do support Google Play Services.

go to HiApp , search for GMS安装器（GMS Installer）, the google play service will be automatically installed, then download GAPPs from HiApp including play store.

Chinese version of Huawei Mate 9 Pro
I got my Huawei Mate 9 Pro (Model Number LON-AL00) on Dec. 15th, 2016, one day after its release while visiting my company's HQ's in Hangzhou, China. A colleague of mine installed all Google Apps, running side by side with Huawei's Apps and it is working like a charm with T-Mobile here in the good old USA.
My only issue is with the phone resetting from the Nova Launcher to the Huawei default launcher. I tried every singe suggestion found in the web, with no luck.

i have very same nova launcher problem, and i also have notification problem too: i cannot receive facebook, twitter, linkedin, EMAIL notification on time!
I'm running Nova just fine, does not reboot into stock Huawei launcher.
Make sure it's selected as default launcher, and make sure auto-launch is enable. Otherwise, the OS will keep it from launching on startup.

AL00 is Chinese version, which doesn't support google play. You can try to change new firmware.

Nonsense, I bought the China version in Shanghai. Just install GMS from the Huawei app store and all the Google apps after, everything works fine, including contacts and calendar sync.

Thanks a lot! Contacts now work!
Huawei Mate 9 Pro running LON-AL00C00B167. Got all google apps running via GMSInstaller (had to sideload google calendar and contacts though).
Now it wants to update to AL00C00B175. If I let it do this will I have to rerun GMSInstaller, thereby losing all google apps and having to reinstall all of them??

That app is too old! It's better to take the google installer version 2: View attachment Google_installer_English.apk

You don't need to install Google contacts separately. Once you have Google Framework services installed and successfully signed into your Google account, go to Contacts settings > Display preferences > Configure contact lists and select Google as default.
I have installed gapps but in build in contacts app is no account logged in and I can't getting error that my Google account is already used on the device

Go to miui app store and search google install the 1st app and click on blue circle it will do everything.

Follow these steps:
1) If there is an older version of Google Contacts Sync installed, uninstall it first.

6) U should have your contacts synced without facing any more process errors.

As far as I know (just checked it on my phone), the google installer is not available in the MIUI app store. Xiaomi removed it.
Having issues with calendar sync too. If I put an event on my tablet it appears fine on the mi5 but it doesn't work the other way round. Can someone check if theirs works please

No Sir, I did this process yesterday only it's available.
Also, I am not able to make Google now on tap work. In google app the option to enable it has been grayed out.
Can anyone help me with this.

I read on the MIUI forum that it's gone and checked the 5th time now. (See attached screenshots). There was a time when the google installer was in the MIUI Appstore but it's now gone.

Installed google installer from inbuilt appstore and everything is working as expected till now. And the best thing is this Rom supports Layers unlike ColorOS. But, sadly there is no Oneplus X radio this time.

How did you install goole play ? I download it from meizu app store. I've tried several times but play store give me error DF DLA 15. I can't download any app from play store

Which version of google installer you installed?
If you have installed the latest one, remove it, clear data and clear cache of google related apps (google services framework, google playstore etc.), uninstall all google apps, reboot and download the version of google installer as shown in the screenshot.
Or, simply flash the rom again and install the google installer version as shown in the image.
To download previous version of google installer, follow these steps,
1. Open inbuilt Appstore
2. Search for Google Installer
3. Scroll to bottom and select View History
4. Select version 1.4.4 or 1.4.3 and install

I flashed SuperSU v2.71 beta and it's working fine for me.
Had trouble initially as my data and playstore stopped working.
Wiped dalvic cache for data to work again.
And, removed all google apps and reinstalled through google installer for playstore to work.

For me too with a reboot play store didn't work so I can't stay with this rom for a daily use but it's interesting....

Did you tried inbuilt root option?
You can find it under settings->security->root permission
Edit: tried inbuilt root option. It's not working with error "failed to write permission"

Performance is excellent I would say, with a nice UI.
It's not lagging at all as in the previous versions of Flyme.
Yester day I flashed this rom. Rom is very smooth. But the issue, GPS is not locating my location in google maps. Does any body have this issue?
Please help me on this.

It worked for me when set the GPS lock to high accuracy.

What version of Phoenix OS are you using? "Newest version" means something different at different time frames
im running version 2.20 64
and I cannot fix the play services to save my life it stops running the minute i use the playstore which works ok so im not sure whats wrong other than the pop up saying play services has stopped
I added a picture of the popup from this download and trying to install...
Is it maybe because it's the 64 version?

Hmm I am on the same version 2.2.0 64 and used the download link in the OP and installed it.
The only other thing I can think of is before I found this thread the play services app had a beta option in the play store and I opted into that, could that be the issue and if so how do I opt out and go back?
My only other thought is a clean reinstall

Install Google Play Services v11.0.56 instead. Hope it works for you. I will provide a link later.
I decided to reinstall and it is working great. Thank you all for your help
now to try to get bluetooth working and fix the issue with driving games using portrait accelerometer in landscape.

Oh okay, I'm glad you were able to solve it. Did you have to download the APK from the link that I posted in the main post?
I immidiatly rooted so not sure if that matters but YES! I did have to use the play services download there were no errors whatsoever but the plays tore was blank until I downloaded and installed the OP file.

The linux-based open-source mobile operating system Android is not only the most popular mobile operating system in the world, it’s also on the way to becoming a proprietary operating system. How is that?
While the core operating system is still released as part of the Android Open Source Project, the majority of core apps are not. It gets worse: More and more libraries and APIs are only available on phones that run various Google apps pre-installed, effectively locking third-party apps to the Google ecosystem. For these reasons Android is described as being a “look but don’t touch” kind of open.
At this point, several popular open-source applications already require some of Google’s proprietary libraries to be installed. Increasing demand in the free software community in addition to severe problems in Google’s proprietary software discovered by the Android modding community, have led to the development of a free software clone of Google’s proprietary core libraries and applications - the microG Project was born.
Although most microG components are far from complete, users are amazed by the results. Free software users got extended application support, privacy-caring users can reduce or monitor data that is sent to Google and especially older phones can expect some battery life improvements. microG is not only used on real devices, but also replaces Google tools in test emulators and is even used in virtual mobile infrastructure.

Service Core (GmsCore) is a library app, providing the functionality required to run apps that use Google Play Services or Google Maps Android API (v2).

Create a Google account from system settings -> accounts (if not already done).
Install GMail
Open App settings and grant contacts and Google Mail permission (under additional permissions) to GMail

Hi.
Updates of the days 2017-11-23 and 2017-11-29 cause bootloop in Mi 4 LTE.
I have made the update from the system update itself. I have also tried updating manually from the Recovery TWRP but they do not start.
The update of the day 2017-11-21 works without problems and has been updated from the system updater.

Backup the /system/lib/hw/keystore.msm8974.so file from the 20171121 and restore after update, it should solve the problem.

I got the joyui 12 update on my phone today. When I connected to the play store after the update, I got the error df-dferh-01. And then I removed the play store by looking at the miui 12 update videos. I reinstalled this time it stays like the picture below and it won't open. Anyone who solved this problem or could help? My phone is skw-ao chinese rom

I also updated yesterday.
Now every time i try to start the Play Store error "DF-DFERH-01" appears.
reboot, uninstall, emptying cache from Play Services and Play Store didn't work.
Because it's such big update, factory reset should fix all your problems. Same like when we got update to JoyUi 11.

i dunno also about the content of the updates but the update was about 600mb or so if i recall ... and after i update the google play went crazy

Yes, the official update is generally good, but after the update, security and permission was too much. Also, the security app installed in itself. It is very annoying, even in WhatsApp, it gives a notification that it wants to access contact information every 20 minutes. Im also using a blackshark and I might have found a way to fix this solution. U will need to go to settings>perfromance manager and than see all the google? Swipe left on the task of everything that is google and delete like end task on task manager. And then open google it should be fixed. Please tell me if it works for you guys.
Edit: sorry but forgot to tell you guys that after the task ending, open google they will ask you to sign in click on the continue and than they should say google play services need to be updated, click yes and you should be able to launch google play after task ending l. Update the google play services and go to google and sign in again and your phone should be good to go.
Can anyone give a little bit more information on how did you get updates before rest of us, what region are you all, are you participating in beta program or what. Is it global or Chinese version etc...?

Through my experience, I think that how this works is that when ever you turn on your phone of reboot the phone, the google play services run before the os Starts and continue with the service without stopping so when the phone updates the google play services get some error so It will need to be re launched but because It boots before the os and the service doesnt refresh but continue with the old google play services. So you will need to manually relaunch the app so that google play services can match the os and run properly. It is like when something is running and suddenly something change in the dll or smt the app will crash but when it crashes it just keeps on launching the crash when phone reboots so will need a manual relaunch to start fresh.
