Hello. I remember a couple of years ago i downloadet the official firmwares from LG by using "generator" link however it doesnt seem to work anymore?
Normaly i would use following:
http://csmg.lgmobile.com:9002/csmg/b2c/client/auth_model_check2.jsp?esn=THIS_IS_HERE_IMEI_GOES
Typing my imei numbers in the last would give me some code where i looked for "<sw_url/> <sw_locale_url/>" that would give me a string to download the latest firmware. However now it is blank? Is this because they have revoked this from the LG servers?
nice fish bait title, my dude
same here, not working for me as most tutorials describe... !?
Do you guys know if there is any other way around?
I cant download any firmwares through lg links anymore WTF. All links seems gone. Only white screen this is so frustrating.
Yarraque ---> I have the same issue. Somehow i think they have closed the "deep links" for the firmwares
Is there Any way to download or another sources?
Here's all the firmware's for the H850
And if you don't own the H850, all others can be found by browsing here.

That's because they're changing servers - just found out about it by reading their facebook page.
Thank You
As of June 30 2018 the links posted worked for me, I am currently downloading the LG G5 firmware that I spent the better part of a day looking for.(Should have just come here in the first place....that'll teach me)

Do you know if it is branded etc?
Anyway we thank you for the KDZ.
EDIT: Oh, there is some purple logo, so yes, there is some branding.
I am adding some screens.
As you can see, there is a new option - wifi calling.
Edit: in hidden menu there is function VoLTE which finally doesn't show "not supported".

It doesn't even have new January security patch! It seems like we will never get 7.0 Nougat.

Unfortunately it hasn't. I hope that they are hard working on Nougat with january security patch...
I also see that there has been released a new version for the SEA Asia SG/Singapore on the 2017-01-26 , called : H81520g_00_0118.kdz on http://lg-firmwares.com/download-file/?fileId=5322
Does anybody know if I can use this on My EUR version without any issues?? Has anyone tried it out? I am downloading it now at the same time as the Polish release.... would really like to have the wifi call option as that is available threw my operator

There shouldn't be any problems with flashing. Try to flash it and look at what's new. And even if it has WiFi calling like this poland version, VoLTE, patch level etc. But for me it is strange that this is 20g.
EDIT: Uhm, that SEA version id not able to flash for me. It shows some error at 9 %.
Hmmmmm the same happened to me to at 9%...
Trying the Polish one instead and will try download the AES version one more time or maybe someone else has the direct kdz link, maybe @AION has it ?
Really think We should have got Nougat by now, espesially after all the bootloop issues and s#it we G4 owners have had, just as a little sign of "goodwill" from LG :fingers-crossed:

so I am all new with this LG updating their devices thing as this is my first LG smartphone, so this may probably sound silly
I read autoprimes thread about 10f stock (thanks for that btw, great starting point for newbies like me!) and had a look at his twitter account where I saw he linked an official LG site about security updates . Going over there and reading up it seems pretty obvious to me that getting all these google patches seemed a very good way to go, yet my H870 refuses to give me any new updates saying it is uptodate with the april version (the 10f autoprime has in his thread it seems). Yet there is this newer thread from westwood24 talking about a 10I version for the H870, yet even LG Bridge installed tells me that my 10f is the most current thing.
So is westwoods version either not really a stock thing because its made by himself into a 10I (from f) or is both my OTA update service and LG bridge blatently lieing to me about a new version?
Or is there a third "truth" I simply dont get because I am a relative android newbie?

Updates are not only related to the model, but also to region and brand. The 10L update with June patch was available for Vodafone branded phone in Europe and few others.
This lead to the question: where is your H870 from?
In any case you can use lgup+uppercut and flash the 10L kdz if you really have a H870 (without any letters at the end)
my current "Software Version" string says V10f-EUR-XX and I bought it from a local retail store, so (to my knowledge) no provider attached.
the model number under hardware info says LG-H870.

And you are from? As i stated before also the region/nation is important when we speak about updates, anyway you can manually update with lgup as i said before =)

Seems like is no yet avalable for your specific model, other users confirmed it Here and Here
You can track daily lg updates looking Here every 6 hours, wait for a H870 Europe Germany or something like that.
I had the same thing like you... but I am rooted do I dirty flashed westwoods version because official updates won't work anyway. No problems found so far. If you have root too, fash it
PS: swiss version heer

mine isnt rooted yet, I stopped after I ordered the unlock bootcode from lg and read about that it stops OTA in generell. But seeing that they are none coming, or coming in a unbelievable slow pace I might as well just get it over with, head home and start flashing
Hello all,
this is my first post on XDA so I hope I am doing everything according to the rules. If I do something wrong, apologies and I will do better next time.
So, I recently purchased a Zenfone 3 MAX in the US in a hurry out of necessity. So I was quite annoyed to find out that ASUS has hidden the ability to format the SD card as internal memory. However I found out there is a way to un-hide the feature via adb. But the procedure I found is tested to work with Marshmallow, and I had already updated the phone to Nougat. Indeed, the adb command has had no effect on my phone.
So, now I am trying to downgrade back to Marshmallow. I am definitely a newbie to this world, but I have been able to find this (https://forum.xda-developers.com/zenfone-3/help/how-to-downgrade-zenfone-3-nougat-to-t3573241) thread, which contains a link to a downgrading procedure (https://www.asus.com/zentalk/thread-164531-1-3.html). However, it is not for ZC520TL but for ZE520KL.
I was hoping I could use the same procedure for my phone, if I find the right firmware, but I am not sure I have been looking in the right places. The ASUS website has various firmware versions for the US and I assume the oldest one is Marshmallow (Version US-13.1.4.43), but the procedure above requires two different firmware files and I do not know enough to understand what is the difference and where I can find them.
Anyone can shed some light on this for me?
Thank you

Ask for it. A user in Canada obtained the downgrade. Please write in this thread and share it.

Thanks for your reply.
I have looked at the thread you linked, but I could not see any reference to someone successfully getting their phone downgraded to M by Asus. If anything some people in there stress how unhelpful is Asus with the whole thing. So I am not any closer to the solution than I was before.

Thanks for the link. I have looked around and found a firmware for the ZC520TL. However I am not sure it is the right one for me because it is my understanding that I need a firmware whose name starts with UL, rather than WW. I am not sure what would happen if I used firmware of a different zone. Moreover, I have been able to recover the right firmware from the ASUS website. What I need is the "RAW firmware" as defined in the procedure I have linked in my original post. But I don't know how that is different from the firmware. As I said, I am very new to this world.

WW stands for global firmware, however I am not sure what UL is for. You can contact the person in that website asking for your firmware. They will help.
Hi, wondering if someone has a copy of this rom that can upload or know a place where I can download.
The rom full name is PCT-G935FXXS1DQHS-20170915103031.zip, is the latest official Nougat stock rom for the S7 Edge for Claro Puerto Rico from August 2017. I have found a few places in Google to download, but all or them have restrictions (max download size 2Gb, rom is 2.5Gb), are slow (40kb/s, which eventually stop after a few hours) or can't download unless I pay.
If someone can upload it to Mega I can leave a mirror copy of it on my account so others can download as well for some time.
Many thanks
This is the link for the Sammobile rom:
https://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/galaxy-s7-edge/SM-G935F/PCT/download/G935FXXS1DQHS/189046/
Don't have a premium account , tried to download several times but it always errors at some time and have to restart again.
Use Sam Firmware tool to get your rom.

Tell me if you find a way to flash it! Been looking for a while... Sorry for the spaces I cant put it in otherwise because I don't have 10 posts blah.
BlazingFlame,
Yes I know how to flash it, but the one you provide is version 10p, the last one published, which has a bunch of security features to disallow hacking it to remove the Google FRP lock.
I've tried with 10e and 10i but while I can go as far as accessing a chrome browser, it still doesn't allow to launch the google app from which you can reach the phone settings.
So far, having spent countless hours on it, I'm still unable to go around the stupid Google FRP lock.
Thus I'm looking for an even older firmware, version 10d or before, from 2015.
