Samsung S7 Edege SM-G935T Hard bricked need help ASAP - Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Questions and Answers

I tried flashing stock firmware for the phone after rooting the phone and it got bricked. I got the stock firmware from XDA and proceeded in flashing it with Odin, but was unsuccessful, till i decided to check T-Flash and i applied all the files in the firmware zip folder which was successful e.g AP, BL e.t.c Now my phone wont turn on after it rebooted and won't go into any mode, tried using key combinations which didnt work, my computer detects the phone when i plug it in but odin does not, the computer now recognize the phone as Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008. I seriously need help!!:crying::crying:

So you can't get in DL mode with power+meniu+volume down keys? Try googling this:
https://www.google.com/webhp?source...=1&espv=2&ie=UTF-8#q=force samsung to dl mode
Anyway what firmware you tried to flash? why the hell do you need to tick T-Flash?

or this....worked for me in the past.

HELP: I bricked my Note 3 (N900). Forget to enable USB debugging before flashing!

I have just bricked my newly-bought Note 3 (N900).
I wanted to flash the latest version of Note 3 via Odin 3.08 (from 4.3 to 4.4.2). I made a big mistake as I didn't enable the "USB DEBUGGING" mode before go to download mode.
I clicked start in Odin and it show FAIL!!!
After I restart the phone all I see on the screen is the message "Firmware upgrade encountered an issue Please select recovery mode in Kies & try again."
I tried to recover it through Kies, but the it shows the phone is not connected or not support. Meaning the Kies cannot communicate with the phone at all.
I also tries to flash in Odin many times, but it still fails.
Please!!! Can anyone here give me some solution.
Thanks.

I tried many time already, but still fail. I think because the usb debugging mode was not enable at the first place.
Thank anyway.

Usb debugging has nothing to do with it failing when you're using odin. Try a different version of odin.
A simple reflash via Odin 1.85 or 3.07/3.04 will fix it.

USB Debugging has nothing to do with odin flash, make sure while flashing below steps.
1. Update boot loader is selected in odin.(Edit:for single file not required)
2. Disable antivirus.
3. make sure note 3 drivers are installed.
4. kies not running in bag round.
5.Clear Factory Data & Catch before flash.
if all of those step fail..
try to flash ur rom on other computer or laptop

You've indeed saved my day... I've been searching high and low, installing various versions of Odin3, downloading tonnes of tar, tarmd5, zip, etc.!
Pardon me for my ignorance, but I never intended to root my cell phone in the first place. I was merely following what Kies suggested, "A New Firmware, Wanna Upgrade?" Oh, truly? Gee, thanks! And **** it, it screwed up my GT-N7000, saying "Firmware upgrade encountered an issue..." and my cell phone never saw the daylight again, regardless how I started it, factory-reset mode wasn't possible at all, only download mode could be started up. Tried with various methods of Odin3 on multiple ROMS, to no avail, until I read your short reply. BAM! (As you put it...)
Thanks a bunch, mate!
I have a similar issue with my sm n900. Lost my imei and baseband, i needed to flash a custom rom to get my baseband before working on the imei, after flashing via odin phone boots to samsung logo then goes blank. And recovery says E failed to mount efs . But i need to use adb on my pc. So how can i possibly enabe usb debugging in order for adb to find my device?
Flashing a stock ROM from sammobile.com via Odin does not require USB debugging. Flashing a stock ROM will flash everything, including modem, bootloader, and recovery.

Try connecting your phone when its in download and try with Odin, if it recognize your device than just flash stock rom.

Try a different version of Odin first. For me only 3.09 and upwards works.
Install Samsung kies 3 to make the phone recognizable by pc and try flashing stock firmware with odin 3.09
First of all, you should download the drivers and stock rom from Sammobile.
Found the drivers here: http://www.mediafire.com/download/k93a92c9rpyg4r5/Samsung-Usb-Driver-v1.5.55.0.exe
(not sure if they work, go and ahead install them and boot to download mode, then see, if odin recognizes it)
Latest Odin download: http://odindownload.com/
If the drivers work and your device is connected to the computer(also boot into download mode) and odin recognizes it:
1) Choose bootloader, then search for your downloaded firmware.
2) Head to the options tab and tick "Nand Erase All", "Phone EFS Clear" and "Phone Bootloader Update".
3) Then hit start and wait it to finish.
It should delete everything on your phone, restore it like it came out of the box.
If the drivers don't work let me know, I'll search for other working ones.

Just flash your firmware from Odin using a PC, I had a similar problem in my tablet, it didn't had download mode either and that worked, try it.
When I connect it to Pc it keeps bootlooping and pc gives sound of connecting then disconnecting of hardware.

Turn off your device, keep your finger in the button until the device is off or pull off the battery, connect it to the PC and flash your firmware through Odin, at that moment I used the 3.70 i think but you can use the latest version it's fine, that should install download mode and the whole firmware if that doesn't work I'm afraid I don't know how else I can help, that's what I did and it worked

You are right I did it the same way and it worked for me too. I actually was thinking the phone was quite dead bur or wasn't, I just flashed the recovery firmware 4.4.4 Russian and if you ask me food the step by step procedure it was just like this:
1. I started the Odin 3.07 and connected my device to see is it was detected or not, my surprise the Odin catch it, and shown added and the port number was 18.
2. I just pulled out the USB cable from my laptop and loaded the BL file only to just flash the bootloader file and see what would happen, I was trying it bcz I was totally disappointed with the device i.e. Grand Prime 530H Duos. I also noticed that my device was not stable even with that black screen it used to restart after almost five minutes in that case. And I knew that in 5 minute I will just be able to flash BL file. The BL file was loaded on the Odin now and I inserted the USB cable again while keeping the vol down button pressed to my laptop when the Odin again found and connected with my device, I didnot take any more time to flash BL file.
3. As soon as i had not flashed all the SW therefore, my device didn't boot properly, and I thought it didn't work but when my device was connected to the computer I just listened the startup tone of the Android 4.4.4. From that moment I knew my device was not dead now so i had to select all four files from the recovery firmware of 4.4.4 and connect the device to odin even there was no sign of download mode, as soon i clicked the Start button i saw many things in the Odin which were good enough to see. after the firmware flashed the device got started.

Is your USB cable original is it working on other devices? And are you using a USB 2.0 port, that is very much necessary, for Odin and some other hardware/software environment applications. And you also must have Samsung USB drivers installed in your PC, you can also try all this process on some other PCs

Hello!
Yes, that USB works with other phones. And even not being the original one, it was working to transfer files before this issue...
It is a USB 2.0 port, and even when I go to "Device Manage" on Windows, it doesn't show any port with an unknown device or something like that...
Thanks!

What have you done to reach that state? I know that you're desperate but you must give some details if you want help.
It was given to me with 5.1.1 installed however it failed mid process and while on 5.1.1 it kept freezing and acting weird such as boot with weird errors and they only appeared after it was updated, I decided to root it with odin and it never fully rebooted after the was root applied. I finally got it to boot to stock and rooted and decided to install a custom recovery which was twrp while selecting the recovery it said if its a wrong location it will brick, with this in mind I checked the model with the one on their site and it seemed to make sense and applied it.
This caused the original problem which made it boot straight to download mode with it saying it could not normal boot. I then googled the problem and one said the pit was corrupted and downloaded the correct file. I then applied this through odin with stock firmware and it refuse to flash. At the time I was thinking a restart on the device would help, but it resulted in not booting at all and not being detected....
It does not light up or make a vibration when its connected or powered on if there is any solution it would be great...
Can anyone help or point in the right direction?

Can you tell us if you can get on recovery screen, either TRWP or stock, or download mode.
You could try installing these drivers:

Reboot just in case and try to connect your device again.
(In download mode, with the key combination)

Did i just brick my brand new A5 2016 ??!. Problem Solved

EDIT: Problem solved!!!
I used this tutorial: https://forum.xda-developers.com/sa...very-samsung-sm-a510f-fd-exynos7580-t3314399/ to install TWRP and root my SM-A510FD on 6.0.1 . My device was rooted and working perfectly until stupid me decided to turn off "OEM Unlock" and i restarted my phone and now it says "custom binary blocked by frp lock" The only thing i can do is go to the Download mode. I tried to use Samsung Kies and Smart Switch when in Download mode but they tell me that my device is not supported. But Odin detects my device and says "Added!!". I am currently downloading the stock firmware for my device from Sammobile and i plan to flash it using Odin.
- Will putting the firmware file in the AP section of odin and clicking start work to fix the problem? (I do not care if i will loose data)
- If this will not work is there anything else that i can do? I can't take it to repair because Knox is tripped and i do not have my receipt. If my phone is bricked forever please tell me so i don't waste my time trying to fix it.
Thank you so much in advance! Any help would be extremely appreciated!!

Just flash stock firmware and you are good to go, if it wont boot turn it off, reboot to recovery(stock) and wipe data & factory reset, later you can again flash twrp and root but dont turn off OEM unlock.

What about when my j7 says custom binary blocked by frp lock(boot.img) secure fail:kernel. It will boot into recovery, and download. Factory wipe does nothing, so recovery mode is useless to me at the moment. my computer detects the phone enough to say Unknown USB device (Device Descriptor Request Failed) driver error as the label of the phone. No matter what mode I'm in. Drivers are up to date, odins good, usb port, computer, and data cords are all good. I've flashed other phones and hooked this one up to another pc to see that it says the same thing. How do I get the computer and/or odin to agree with my phone enough to pick it up as a good device?
