Hi,
I have downloaded the nVidia Factory images and updates for Windows and Linux.
Would you all like me to mirror these here and am I allowed to do this by nVidia?

I have update 1.2.1, is that Lollipop?
I have not updated my ShieldTablet yet as I am waiting for an updated CWM and TWRP recovery.

Hey jemail, just fyi, the current unofficial twrp and cwm still work after lollipop update, just had to root, and unlock bootloader again with adb and fastboot, but they still have the same bugs, i.e. being flipped upside down, but I've been patiently waiting for an official proper version as well

2.0+ is lollipop.
Also there is no development going on in here so it should probably go in general, for the future.

First you have to unlock the bootloader and download the file and place it in the root of your internal memory.
Now go to the stock recovery and select the option install from sdcard and select the file you downloaded.
That's it, it will start installing and reboot the phone. Then you got the latest update.
Happy flashing.......

You shouldn't have to unlock bootloader if it's stock OTA.
I have problems installing this ota.
It shows me ...

Why do we still have the same questions about this? It's maddening.
You CAN NOT sideload an OTA if your OS has been modified. PERIOD. That's it, that's all there is to it. You can apply the OTA in ADB on a stock un-messed with unit. If you've modified it, then you can't.
It's been this way since last year.

Is it possible to make a flashable zip with the contents of an OTA and another one with the contents of the stock rom so all you do is flash the stock rom, then flash the OTA zip?
The OTA zip would have to be modified so it allows you to flash it thru TWRP.
Or maybe it's just easier to flash the newer stock rom over the old one as a ZIP?
There's already a thread for this. Why make a new one?

NPF26J OTA link
I may be helpful to have a little note indicating which version you need to be on for each particular OTA to work.
Based on past Nexus devices, you could have multiple OTAs to a particular version. For example, you could have an OTA to NPF26J (from NDE63V) or you could potentially have an OTA to NPF26J (from NDE63U).
As an example, here is the Nexus 5 thread.
Flashed this and have the new moves.

As of 3:45 a.m. this morning I couldn't believe what I was seeing thanks Verizon it's about time still messing around with it (7.1.1.) I'll let you know how it goes like it so far oh yeah I'm on the east coast S.C. THANKS AGAIN AND GOD BLESS EVERYONE!!!
Downloading right now.
Mike
I'm in the United States and I got 7.1.1 last night ?
got it today also
Yep, it's finally here, downloading.
Update 7.1.1 is here on RETEU
Just got the 7.1.1 OTA for the Moto Z Play on RETEU
Will keep you posted as soon as installed and tested
Just downloading 7.1.1. in Germany
I'm doing the 7.1.1 update in France
I'm here on April patch RETEU, but I'm rooted, with custom kernel and modified system.
What is the safe way to install the 7.1 OTA? I've already been notified about it.
Safe way is to flash everything from bootloader with a full package... OTA is to be avoided if you modified system and recovery.

Safest way is to flash my 7.1.1 stock rom, if you decide you don't like 7.1.1 you can safely move back or forth to any rom. Taking the OTA means you can't or should downgrade or you could end up hard bricked.

Yeah, I see. But the latest avaible full RETEU firmware is NPN25.137-24-1 and flashing this is not safe. Can I flash RETAIL april patch instead?
Got the update too but is your home button with Google animation? Mine turned into pixel home button 2 hours after the update

Unenroll from the beta on the website. That should get you an update that rolls you back.
Doing this will wipe your phone.
