Which rom is fully compatible with H2OS 2.5.1 modems??? - OnePlus 2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Please help. Which rom is currently fully compatible with H2OS modems? I mean, after flashing H2OS 2.5.1 which can I flash with no issue?
Thanks

Same question in mind! I am having issues of too many random reboots and network drops..... Regretting my decision to switch to H2OS 2.5.1 for VoLTE

and is everything working properly? camera and everything.. specially oos camera?

Android N Roms seem to work well with H2OS 2.5 Modems, Latest CM13 builds as well... but no VOLTE on CM13 if that's what you are looking for.
Cheers,

Everything is working. OOS camera is fully working. Even video recording works on OOS camera

I flashed MIUI 8 ROM, gave me no IMEI error so i flashed h2os 2.5 modem only, which made everything work. I loved MIUI's customizations, but the Chinese texts were a bit overwhelming. I clean flashed h2os 2.5 official ROM n tried it for a day, but i found it to be a little boring. Now I'm on AICP ROM n I'm just loving it. I'd highly recommend this ROM to anyone looking for a Nougat experience ?

Which Rom ?

Hello guys,
I'm undecided, Which rom is best in Zenfone 5. I look tree roms ;
1- Resurrection Remix http://forum.xda-developers.com/zenfone-5/development/resurrection-remix-zenfone-5-t3185403
2- Cyanogenmod 12.1 by XHook http://forum.xda-developers.com/zenfone-5/orig-development/rom-cyanogenmod-12-1-xhook-t3289543
3- CyanoMixProject by TecnoTailsPlays http://forum.xda-developers.com/zenfone-5/development/rom-cyanogenmod-12-1-tecnotailsplays-t3282975
What are the differences between 2 and 3 ?
3 has some bugs but you get stuck in a kernel and can not change or sd card stops working
2 works without any bugs kernel and found more stable than 2
1 is as good as the 2
---------- Post added at 02:26 PM ---------- Previous post was at 02:23 PM ----------
Apart from that cyanomix is just a modification of knone build
it is not made zero from the source as the other two

Are there any other roms other than echo and tek that work with our model?

No, you could just install root and stay stock. Debloat and install viper and exposed but after a few weeks the phone starts to slow almost to an unbearable point. That's all we have and it doesn't look like we'll be getting more as that locked bootloader is here to stay.

I couldn't take it so i went back to stock and just rooted my note 5 as i like switching up once and a while. Running note 7 port now from crisscross, beautiful. In a few days I'll go to teks new one. Note 5 still awesome.

so your suggesting to not flash one of the roms. I'm experiencing the slowness right now and I just flashed tek a few days ago.

Did you make the changes to the kernel settings recommended all over the root threads ? have been using it and now Echoe for two months and have close to stock performance and stability with the engineer kernel .

Yes I did and it just kept getting slower. I tried both roms. I'm on stock rooted with xposed installed and it's quick. I haven't installed any xposed modules yet though so we will see.

Most Stable 8.1 So Far?

Is there any custom ROM 8.1 that is stable enough to flash?
Most of them have the same issues , but i think RR is the most stable of them all. Just my opinion , tho.
For me? Cosmic OS (if I'll be able to figure out why localization indicator is visible constantly)
Tried a couple and RR along with crDroid (not found here but on android file host) were the most stable for me. I also flashed pepsy kernel wich is very stable too.

Here you go Buddy
https://forum.xda-developers.com/redmi-2/development/kernel-zetsubou-17-dec-t3520825
Inside the Google drive link you should at first see two folders, go into the superclock folder then official los folder (if you're going to try dot os) otherwise for different ROMs might wanna check under the relative thread which kernel is working best. The latest is from 30 August of 2017 if I'm not mistaken

Have been using dot OS with Zetsubou Kernel for a few weeks, and the WIFI is sometimes quite unstable here. Got disconnected randomly, then the connected WIFI hotspot wouldn't show up in search (all the others in the area show up though), and have to reboot the phone to get connected again. Although not super frequent, it's quite annoying. Are you facing this issue as well?
---------- Post added at 09:40 PM ---------- Previous post was at 09:40 PM ----------
What ROMs are other folks on?
Actually I just got my new phone and intend to use this R2 as a bluetooth audio player and hold my secondary SIM card. I see there have been quite a few Oreo ROMs popping up recently, are they generally more stable than Nougat ones, which are now mostly not maintained any more?
Thanks guys!

With the wifi issue, it's quite rare for me that it gets to the point of annoying.
As for Oreo Roms on the R2, I've Tried Resurrection, Msm Extended, Bootleggers. Don't Know About The Rest, In My View Though. There's Still Quite A Ways To Go Before Oreo Roms For The R2 Are On Par With Their Nougat Counterparts. Don't Know If Maybe I Might Be Wrong Though, With The Roms I Haven't Tried

Rom suggestion

I'm using pixel experience, but my phone is getting slow... I went to the post to look for the older version to flash, but they killed the rom... Are there any similar rom to flash? By similar I mean looks and performance?
Havoc
