Anybody tried Android 7.0 Nougat on G935FD Duos and can confirm that 2'nd SIM can be 3G/2G or still 2G-only?
One lte n one 2g only
Single sim + Micro SD
So, there will be no issues if I use one sim card with a memory card, right?
:good:

Thanks, VoLTE is one issue which i also concerned . so it is better to wait for official OTA.
I have a issue with 2nd sim slot too, I can't use 4G in second slot.
1st slot 4G + 2nd slot (3G/2G) => OK
1st slot 3G/2G + 2nd slot(4G) => 2nd slot only use 3G
In my country (Thailand), G935FD can use 3G network on sim2 even on Marshmallow 6.0
What kind of rom and csc code are you using? ?
@romeokk - are you sure, you have got G935FD and not G9350 (with Snapdragon) ?
Can you show printscreen with software info? Which security patch level?
Any Australian users tired this rom? Does it work with any carriers prefectly?

Thanks! it seems, that some country variants already has got update to enable 3G on the second SIM. I wonder, if the rest of G935F firmware variants will get this update too.
@romeokk - One more question: could you confirm, that it's possible to force 2nd SIM to use 3G only? Is mode "3G only" available on 2nd SIM settings? My goal to achieve is: 1st SIM on LTE/3G/2G and 2nd SIM in "3G only" mode.

I can absolutely do that. Since im using my phone to reply, its not convenient to upload a picture to confirm.
One thing I should mention is that after the phone has been upgraded to use 3G on sim 2, 3CA (LTE carrier aggregation using 3 frequency bands) no longer works in sim1 when sim 2 is inserted, even 2G only is set on sim2. The phone works on 3CA only when sim2 is not inserted at all.
Hi ,
Do you know any code to be able to list all LTE band supported by the device ?
I'm trying *#*#4636#*#* but nothing happens.
I transformed my L04C567 to L09C432 hopping it will active dual sim but it did not
before I revert back to L04 I would like to check if it supports same LTE bands or not.
Thanks,
Laurent
It's hardware related not software... So even installing ie L09 or any other firmware which supports dual sim. So its not going to work
Hello Folks,
I purchased a JIO sim yesterday and I tried it in my Galaxy Note 4 SM-N9100 (Dual sim) phone and it does not work. JIO requires VoLTE to work.
Searched for other firmware versions for this model in sammobile and I ended up with only two versions for this device, China and Hongkong versions. Both of these do not support VoLTE.
Can someone please suggest a way to make JIO sim work on my phone.
Thanks in advance.
N9100 is a chinese variant.
Even if you manage to get volte firmware, the sim wont work, cause the network bands are different.
Its in hardware and you definitely cant change that.
Are you even receiving signals?
Reporting Via N910G.

I am getting signal. It also Shows 'Jio 4G' in notification but none works. Calls, Messages, Internet are not working.
Hello All,
I want to know if carrier aggregation (4g+) is supported on both the sim slots. I have seen 4g+ on my primary sim few times, but never saw it on my 2nd sim.
May somebody please confirm this?
Thanks
You can only get 4G+ active on slot where mobile data enabled.
Hi,
Aim:
The aim is to get VoLTE working so that the phone can work in India on the Reliance Jio network. "Work" as in makes and receives calls through the native phone and messaging apps.
A bit of context:
I have a Samsung S7 Edge SM-G935F.
I am want to use the phone on a network that is 4G only meaning I need VoLTE enabled for the calls and texts.
Currently I am running the XEU firmware, but VoLTE is not working when I use the Reliance Jio sim.
PDA: G935FXXU8ETI2
CSC: G935FXEU8ETI3
If you need more context info let me know.
Questions:
So, basically, I am trying to figure out the easiest, non-intrusive way to enable VoLTE without having to unlock bootloader, root the device, etc...etc. (don't even know if it is possible this way). Anway...
The first question is, can I flash a VoLTE firmware from region/network A and use the phone in any other region/network B? Will VoLTE work? Or is the VoLTE firmware specifically programmed to work networks in a particular region or a single network in a region? For example, can I flash EVR (EE UK) firmware (I think it has VoLTE feature enabled), and use the phone in India on the Reliance Jio network.
( If the suggestion in the first question is not possible )
The second question is, can I flash a SM-G935FD INS (Indian) firmware on the SM-G935F to get VoLTE working? Is it safe to flash an FD firmware to the F variant?
Thank you,
Ray
Hello, you can run Volte and Vowifi having root, you only need to know the operator's data settings for these functions
"Currently I am running the XEU firmware, but VoLTE is not working when I use the Reliance Jio sim." Does it work with another sim? Thats the impression I am getting. If it works with another sim and not your current one then it may be as simple as the phone provider not supporting the device for VoLTE. If it is a problem for all providers then you will need to change to a firmware with a CSC that supports VoLTE.
I'm facing the same Jio VoLTE problem on Moto G7 XT1962-1
