As far as I know it boots - but camera and RIL aren't working. This was the 0709 build however, I'm not sure about the latest build. It's certainly a start though!

Sorry, I meant the 0905 build, not 0907. RIL = Radio Interface Layer, pretty much mobile networking.

Radio interface layer. The software layer that interfaces with the device drivers and hardware that connects to the mobile phone network. Basically the stuff that makes your smart phone a phone.
Apart from lineage os is there any other Oreo ROM for harpia?
I found some more ROMs on AFH that I think are based on 8.0 but I don't have time to test them now.

EDIT: AOSCP (the 2nd one) doesn't seem to have RIL working, but AOSPExtended (the 1st one) does, but the camera doesn't work unfortunately.

Thanks for this, been looking for an Oreo build that has RIL only thing that isn't working for me is the camera so if that breaks the experience for anyone I wouldn't recommend flashing this AEX build

Yeah, RIL works but the camera doesn't and there are lots of graphical glitches.

Any reason? Alot of work has to be done to make fm radio work on custom roms. You're welcome to do it if you want. Others have done the hard work, creating the device tree (squid) and compiling all of those wonderful ROMs (fireball, nyandeka, etc.). Go check seanstar's work on the plus model and see what he did to get it, then jump on in bro.
So no, no reason at all. Maybe they just forgot to.
Thanks for the reply, it is an over site indeed. I will be looking at all his posts to fix the fix.
It can be done, it's just gonna take much work. It may even involve modifying the device tree. I was kidding when I said they forgot. They were building the roms from source using squid's tree. The FM radio stuff wasn't included in the sources or device tree.

I am tired of finding the solution for fixing network drop issue after flashing any custom rom on my rosy.
If there any one who know how to fix it

My network suddenly goes high but after frw second it drops. It happens continously.
The reason for irritation is that when i am on any call call disconnect due to poor network.

What's about in call volume adjustment. This is the major problem on every custom rom except lineage os new update.
Please let me know that two bugs fixed or not on this rom

I am on paranoid Android and I still have network drops. Any one on the paranoid Android still suffering from network drop?
It's been fixed in most of the recent builds. Try AEX if you don't need volte or recent builds of some other ROM if you need volte.
