Hey all,
The auto-brightness on the v20 is subpar, but that's an easy fix with Lux. The thing is, I don't want to see both the brightness slider as well as Lux's brightness widget in the pull down menu.
Does anyone know how to remove the stock brightness slider from the pull down menu without root?
Go to your notification toggles. Hit "edit" and then the 3 dots on top right. Unchecked brightness.

There are times when you want the original screen brightens slider there. Like When you're watching a movie and you want to turn the brightness up. Turn off lux (sleep) and slide brightness up

Dashclock Widget. There are a ton of extensions. This is a must have with 4.2 lockscreen!

No.... with 4.2 you can add widgets to the native lock screen.

Good point. I still use widget locker though because it lets you have more than one widget on the screen, like in OP's post. I can't see any way to do that with the native lock screen.

Dashclock is so cool but it doesn't work on the S4 if you want to use a pin or pattern lock as well.

That's Samsung mistake, block lockscreen widgets when you have a security lock.

The video had a view of the weather widget. It seems to move when they tilt it though. How does one activate this feature? @ 3.47

LG G2
Prototype, maybe a feature in 4.4
That was Samsung's widget not lg. Just like the s4 but I can't remember if it moved when you tilt the phone. Had it for like a week. I know it did that animation when you went home or unlocked to the home screen.
Sent from my LG-D800 using xda app-developers app
That is indeed the built in weather widget out of the box, in order to have that animation you have to refresh the widget and if the weather is sunny then you will get the same animation in the video. I am using the international version D802, not sure if this is applicable on other variants.

Just woke up and it's sunny here. Hit refresh and it does the animation but only for a minute. Then you have to refresh again.
Probably a battery thing.

Gotcha. Guess it only shows that option when swipe lock is active.
LG G2
Its not Samsung widget and it clearly has a 3d effect different from the lock screen ani and the widget refresh ani
I just accidentally found out you can swipe horizontally on some tiles. Example: swiping horizontally on WiFi tile will toggle WiFi tethering.
Is this new to KitKat or have I been missing out this whole time?!?

It's not swiping that does it. Just long press the button and it will act as a toggle. I can confirm that this is a stock feature. I'm running factory img rooted.

So I'm using xposed gravity box and I set my nav bar to 60% and this is what I got on stock launcher. It has some weird space and I really want buttons to be transparent. Any fix/ idea ?

I don't think you can achieve what you want unless you use another launcher, Nova is what I personally prefer. I may be wrong but I think that will be the only way.

And can nav bar be transparent on nova ?
Sent from my LG-D802 using xda app-developers app
Well... Technically yes. But until you get the 4.4 update, or if you move to aosp 4.4 rom, the option is greyed out in the nova menu. It is an option, just not on 4.2. But I think if you use nova and just keep gravity box stuff like you have it, it may look right for you. Lots of options on nova.
Sent from my VS980 4G using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
I use toggle fullscreen app from google play and it fixed that issue when I use udn.
In G2 xposed, there's a button under themes and colors for transparent status and nav bar. I'm using it, works great on 4.2 (vzw).
How do I disable hardware keys? Because I want to enable the on screen buttons in the gravity box app... But first I Wanda doable the hardware keys
BTW I searched high and low for an answer.. Went over the xposed middle list at least 3 times to see if there was an app to disable.. But no luck... Anyone know...?
Thanks in advance...

As I've heard Xposed Additions module can do that (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.spazedog.xposed.additionsgb).
Althrouhg when i tried this, it disabled all my hardware buttons on boot including power button before i had even a change to configure.
Maybe you can try and share your experience.:good:
