I think -96 means underclocking. Im not too sure though.
@PoseidonKing
Thanks for the input.
But the question is with what program do you do all that ??
Tested Kernel auditor, Ex kernel auditor.
I would appreciate what program you use.

Intelliplug is not optimized for big.LITTLE architecture based SOCs!
best governors for both performance and battery are interactive ( or interactive based governors , like : cafactive , Ironactive , Blu_active , ... )
there is no voltage control so we can't apply U.V through any app!
GPU Governor : msm-adreno-tz ( with adrenoboost) is the best option.
fiops is best i o scheduler for performance

I think zen i/o is better than row ~

i only can answer second wuestion , its a specific feature of custom kernel which means it may not available on every custom kernel, depends if the dev make it available or not
in case u wanna try hotplugging on rn3, try guyver kernel , its available on our xda section :good:
my personal review guyver is the second best kernel for our rn3 , the first is darkness kernel :good:

I think guyver is the best. Much option. Hotplug,governor,i/o. But,its my opinion. Depends on people which one is best.

Check AK Kernel thread.
The second post contains links that explain each option.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-4/orig-development/kernel-ak-t2473454
In regards to schedulers.. It depends on what you do with the phone (i.e. How much time you spend on it, if you multitask or use it for CPU-RAM hungry apps).
In any case the answer will probably revolve around SIO, FIOPS, DEADLINE and ROW (In no particular order).
Lastly, keep in mind that there are certain schedulers that do not play well with specific governors. If in doubt, leave the default kernel configuration as it is.
Happy reading.

when your cpu hotplugs, its turning cores off and on, as it needs to use them.
I did everything that was mentioned by aldoblaga with prometheus kernel used the same saved config.
But either i get low benchmark score or normal score when i tried with different roms when not throottling .
So pls help me out in overclocking my s7 edge (new to this stuff) so each and every step help including aroma settings, saved config , rom recommendation, and kernel version recommendation.
I feel very sad when other people s7 get very high benchmark whereas i dont know how to get those scores (not a competition)(i need to get high scores like 160000 for testing purpose so someone pls help me out in this)
Thank you in advance
My highest score was like 147k. I don't think that going above that is safe. Once I was running benchmark on my laptop(no overclock. Just stress test) and my GPU blew up! Later they fixed it fortunately for free, cause it was on warranty. But still. Overclock it 1Hz and it might be gone a second later. Be careful.
Instructions: flash Voltaqe kernel and with Synapse set everything(cpu&gpu, try to avoid other things) to high and run benchmark. Also in my tests lowering resolution lowered benchmark score by ~10k. Which is weird but yeah. Have fun but be REALLY CAREFUL.

As u told i flashed voltaqe kernel but as i m really new to this overclocking pls tell me what settings i have to change and by how much or u could save ur config so that i can restore the config or just do a screen recording and show me how do u change and by how much u increase it.

Just change CPU speed max/min as much as You can (don't touch voltage settings) . And then go to GPU tab and do the same. Also You can change CPU gov to performance.
Just play with 3-4 first Synapse tabs(except the voltage). I can't take screenshots unfortunately cause OnTheEdge has changed their kernel to HydraKernel. And if I flashed Voltaqe kernel I would break magisk root. But like I said. Change cpu&gpu frequencies to maximum if You want(just don't touch the voltage ).

Yay! . I just checked and nope. But Voltaqe kernel is great. So don't worry.
Hello guys!
Here you may post your benchmark score.
Please mention ROM, kernel, kernel setting, any tweaks(mod), device.
Mine is here-
ROM- RR N 31/01 weekly
Kernel- vegito 5.0
Kernel setting- GPU clock at 550mhz
I/O- bfq
Device- a6020a46
With hyper kernel(unreleased and will not be release soon due to some problem)
GPU clock at 550 mhz
And other is default.
See 3D is quite impressive.
AND ROM is RR N and no other tweaks
Not benchmarked by me
Here are result of extreme kernel
ROM AOKP
30/12 build
3D is good but GPU is over clocked up to 1080mhz.
Guys enable faux fix on vegito kernel it improve 3d a lot. You will feel smoothness.

If u use zzmove governor disable all the hotplugs coz it use its own hotplug as anyone knows.
[Q]How i select profile from kernel tweaker app?
[A]You need to go in governor tunable-profile number and select the number of the profile from the list.
Zzmove profiles
1 ) Default -> will set governor defaults
2 )ybat -> Yank Battery -> a very good battery/performance balanced setting - DEV-NOTE: highly recommended!
3 )ybatext-> Yank Battery Extreme -> like yank battery but focus on battery saving
4 )zzbat-> ZaneZam Battery -> a more 'harsh' setting strictly focused on battery saving - DEV-NOTE: might give some lags!
5 )zzbatp -> ZaneZam Battery Plus -> NEW! reworked faster battery setting - DEV-NOTE: recommended too!
6 )zzopt -> ZaneZam Optimized -> balanced setting with no focus in any direction - DEV-NOTE: relict from back in the days, even though some people still like it!
7 )zzmod -> ZaneZam Moderate -> NEW! setting based on 'zzopt' which has mainly (but not strictly only!) 2 cores online
8 )zzperf -> ZaneZam Performance -> all you can get from zzmoove in terms of performance but still has the fast - down scaling/hotplugging behaving
9 )zzinz-> ZaneZam InZane -> NEW! based on performance with new insane scaling active. a new experience!
10 )zzgame-> ZaneZam Gaming -> NEW! based on performance with scaling block enabled to avoid cpu overheating during gameplay

There's only one thing I've noticed that I would change, the cpu voltages by default are noticeably higher than stock (which on my personal device is still too high).
---------- Post added at 05:48 PM ---------- Previous post was at 05:28 PM ----------
Also if intelithermal is active at all it seems to lock the max frequency to 1700mhz no matter what settings are chosen.

I'm saying if you set the temperatures to 80C it will throttle the cpu when it's at 50C. It doesn't function correctly.
