ring delay = 0
old market, too
sd speed fix ( 2048 or 3072)
freeze browser, market updater
remove all google apps (search, voice youtube tts blah blah) launcher2 root explorer myphoneexplorer terminal... at all around 20 preinstalled things lol
launcher pro + as system app and add youtube myphoneexplorer terminal as user app again xD
set all CM settings (especially the tweaks) 825 mHz, no compcache, dithering off, JIT on, 16 bit transparency, free resources, deactivate boot animation, SMS app persistant
by the way my CPU gets 2900 scores in quadrant too (880, performance)
edit: remove /system/media/audio/ui

the apps with titanium backup and bootanimation with root explorer.
but you can delete system apps with root explorer too:
/system/app/nameoftheapp.apk
and sometimes
/system/app/nameoftheapp.odex
too
bootanimation is in /system/media
(not 100% sure)

So did the build.prop actually change to 400 or did it stay at 480 after you rebooted? I had a problem where I had to save it a few times before root explorer actually made the changes and made a backup. If nothing else, make a copy of the build.prop, drag it onto your PC, change with notepad++, then drag it back and swap it out with root explorer. Just make sure the permissions are correct rw- r-- r--. I love 400, its perfect for me.

Because the build.prop affects the entire system/apps. Xposed per dpi app only works on one at a time. It would take forever.

You could also use textdroider_dpi app. Changes the entire system that way you don't have to keep messing with the build prop..... then use xposed to change camera back to 480 to work correctly.

I dont know much about how to reset your phone
When going lower than 480 the camera app is fun as the viewfinder is not taking the whole screen. Which camera app are you using instead?

It seems as though Google killed Miracast compatibility now that Chromecast does screen mirroring. If you are like me and have one of each devices, you still may want to mirror to a Miracast device.
Required: Root
Navigate with a root explorer to your build.prop file located at /system/build.prop
Add the following line to the file:
Code:
persist.debug.wfd.enable=1
Save your build.prop file and reboot.
You should now see Settings > Display > Cast Screen > Menu > Enable Wireless Display
You should be good to go :good:

Be careful what you are doing, because it clearly says where to add it- in the build.prop file in /system/ folder, it also says add the "following line", so you know what to edit in the build.prop file. simply add the line in the bottom to keep it clear from everything else. be sure to make a back up copy of the build.prop file in case you accidentally delete something an forget what it was...very possible!
I am wondering if it is possible to enable this in the same way it was possible to enable wireless tethering using adb.
v--The way you fix wireless tethering is to do the following--v
Start an adb shell: adb shell
In the adb shell, run this command: settings put global tether_dun_required 0
So why can't we do the same for build.prop?
Can anyone verify that if I were to do the following it would do the same thing?
settings put build.prop persist.debug.wfd.enable 1
or something similar?

I have an first gen Amazon FireTV which is hooked up to my surround sound and when I cast to it using the wireless display the sound goes over my surround sound system without issue. For more info, my N6 is currently running 10/27 - Cataclysm ROM (which did not have the wireless display option, until I followed this OP)

I tried doing this but it said I did not have enough space and couldn't be saved, what do I do?

Most likely you are trying to cast protected content. Google play movies does this and i believe netflix too...maybe others but I cant recall. Anyway there is no way around playing DRM protected content through miracast.
For People that have very little battery life and feel phone is slow or just want to get a low DPI (lower than 540) to work on phone in general here is the trick
1. Go to terminal emulator
2.Type:
3. Su
4. wm size 1080x1920
5. wm density 440(or any dpi you want)
6. Install Xposed download module called App Settings
7. Change the dpi of lg apps to 540 or higher
8. for the phone app you have to change the Contacts app also.
9. Now to make the phone to work to receive calls and to dial a call you need Tasker app (its a paid app unfortunately...)
10. Go to Tasker
11. go to the tasks tab
12. create two new tasks
13. On the first task: Name it DPI:540
14. add new action
15. click on code then on Run Shell
16. on command type wm density 540
17. check the box Use Root
18. The second task do the same thing except the command: wm density XXX (X represents any dpi you want).
The rest to make it easier watch the video:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0eR2L4xyHKE
When receiving a call it will bring an error but following that it will work.
Battery improved a lot see photo:
Could I just change the resolution using this method without changing the dpi? I don't want to have to mess with that or Tasker to be able to make/receive calls, but I would appreciate the improved battery life by lowering the resolution.
Sent from my VS986
How does this improve battery life? I already have my dpi set lower with no problem and average 3.5 hours SoT.
His graphs indicate that before he was getting 3.5hours SOT after 8h of use and the battery was down to 3%.
Now he is at 4h20 SOT with 12h of use and battery still has 39% left.
You could get an hour to an hour and a half extra of sot by the time battery got to 3%.

I also noticed that the camera viewer gets cropped when modding the DPI back to 540 using app settings. So i reverted back to 1440p because IMO these are deal breakers to me.
