Tested trying out Class 95FM, upon playing specific songs eg: Coldplay - Viva La Vida, album artwrk is displayed there, trying clicking on the artwrk, you can see the lyrics of the song playing currently too... you can tweet the songs to tweeter for those who tweet songs often.
Worked for Android 2.2 as well. Tested working on DJ Droid v1.0 beta...

yes, this is the v1.1 apk.. check the first post, under multiupload...

installed, says v1.0

thats weird.. on webpage it state 1.1 but when i tried download again from the web and install it in, it still state 1.0 on the application on our android..

Yup, that's the error on the HTC website part. Anyway this application can be run on all Android devices, and including 1.5 devices. I'm using this on my Hero on MoDaCo 3.2 ROM which is 1.5 based.

What is the best? I havent updated mine in a while. Im on MIUI.us_supersonic_1.12.9_Eng_Deo_ZipA_Signed_naerok & using savaged zen 2.2.1 CFS HAVS...Is there any better combo for faster perform & battery life?

Whats diff about that from regular mIUi? Does everything work GPS, ect ect

It's just a recent MIUI build. The old MIUI thread isn't really relevant, and only so because of Swiper's build(s) discussions outside of his own thread.
Pair the latest stable with Tiamat 3.3.7 and it's as good as you can get.
The goods are working; GPS, MMS etc etc
Check it.

But there is really no change from regular MIUI ? I had issues with the latest MIUI in that I could not answer calls...I would get FC everytime LoL Can someone link me to the MIUI you guys are using thru XDA not another forum...

Yes, the last MIUI.us release had problems with dialer. It was well posted about in many places.

Put the ROM into the root directory of sd card
Reboot to Recovery(Require CWM Recovery 6.0.3.2 or later)
Wipe data,and wipe cache

Just tried this, it's 4.2.2 and looks like a themed/modded version of AOSP MIUI rom. Still a lot of chinese in it so only used it for about 1 hour.

Marshmallow upgrade for Idol 3 5.5

Hey everyone !
I saw in another thread that idol 3 5.5 wont receive android 5.1.1 update (i dont really care about that), but does someone knows if it will get the android 6.0 update ?

This question gets posted almost every day. It has been posted, but not confirmed, that Alcatel is working on 6.0 to be released by the end of the year.

also cyanogenmod has released CM 13 on the asus pad or something i saw it earlier last week its just a test build not stab;e enough but would be nice to get marshmallow CM here too

I'd say this is the most likely way we will see 6.0 now that the CM12.1 egg has been (mostly) cracked.

I'd take this with a pinch of salt as it comes from their facebook team and not from an official rep, but they've confirmed it on Facebook:

If you want constant updates buy Nexus or Sony device. Otherwise stop complaining
I personally don´t care what Os version i have until everything works.
EDIT: that is what Czech Alcatel facebook PR says. They said (today 23.10.2015) that they will skip 5.1 and release 6.0 for IDOL3 5.5 in Q1 of 2016.

I was looking for this kind of ROM long time. Going to try now. :fingers-crossed:

forked from Nougat LineageOS but opensource except map application.
it's in beta stage.

So far so good...only complaint so far is the click/noise that the lens does when exiting the default camera app (open camera)...i will try it for a few days but will return to my normal rom as that "clicking noise" is really annoying (to me).

what mean/is /e/ project?!

Now the only thing OPO would need is completely FOSS rom. That would be really cool. No proprietary bits. Something like Replicant.

Is this better than the LineageOS microG ROM? I'm keen to try going Googlefree, we have no idea what Play Services and Google Framework are sending to the mothership.

as I know for the optimized ROM, size in less than 400MB.
size of this rom is greater than 600MB ?!
