I have received the smartwatch Tenfifteen qw09 based on android 4.4 and I am new to this with android watches
I would like you to tell me which are the best play store apps that are used well on these screens so small
I have also seen that some people install nova launcher and you put watchfaces as widgets but in this clock to be square does not fill the whole screen
Thank you

The only app I added was Keemple keyboard. It is a paid app but it allows me to text from the watch. It also remembers words you have typed. Swipe left and right for alpha keys, swipe up for numbers and special characters. Swipe down to hide the keyboard.

Thanks for the answer, I am currently testing several apps and I will end up doing my own compilation because there is little thing in the theme of the apps for android watches ...

I installed squarehome 2 launcher. It looks nice with square tiling.
The caveat is the screen will keep flickering when the watch plugs in usb charging.
I may had a bad hardware

After several testings, I confirmed the flicker was due to the plastic base cover. When I pressed the cover to either plug/unplug the usb cable, the screen flickered.
Later, I tried to press the cover without plug/unplug the cable, the screen also flickers.
That I think the soft plastic cover somehow touched the circuit inside and caused flickering.

Hi friends
Im gonna post a link to a video of the galaxy Note and from 00:56 to 01:05
you will notice that a nice looking chick is holding the Note on the lockscreen,
and it appears that there are some apps that appear on the bottom, right about
where the dock would be if the phone was unlocked.
Does anyone know if this is actually possible on the Note and how?
Im not refering to apps that customize the lockscreen because this
doesn appear to be an app.
I personally looked into the settings but had no luck.
Im guessing it was only a pre-production thing or else I would have found it.
But then again Im no expert...
Anyone with knowledge on the matter, please share your lights
here is the link:
http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xk...tablet-phone-the-galaxy-note-geekbeat-tv_tech
just found another one
I just found another video that shows the apps on the lock screen
and a couple more on the top right of the screen.
Where the heck are these options??????
link:

I have this feeling I've seen that screen elsewhere before... I don't have my Note with me, but if you check under the stock Clock application, i think the rightmost tab has something that has shortcuts on the bottom and top right like that?

What a goof I am!
Thank you both.
You're both right!
This obviously happens on the dock or if you choose this screen from the standard clock app.
Thanks
That is the Clock mode. Just enter Apps/Clock =)

Oh well, Galaxy Note DID have a lockscreen with app shortcuts like sense 3.0 lockscreen up to version JHA. Later on, Samsung decided to take out this feature....maybe for patent reason?!?!
What a pity! It was one of the reasons for me to buy the Galaxy Note!

I would only use a lockscreen app that doesnt interfere with the home button.
I paid for Lockmenu Pro and my money went to waste because the app interfered with the home button just like a launcher and there was no option ti cancel this. Pressing the home button once while the phone was locked, and it unlocked! Called my boss at 1:00am while in my pocket!!!!
Does widgetlocker mess up the home button?
it's not the desk clock, on the desk clock in the top right hand corner there's an expand/contract button, whereas in the video that button isn't there
How does locking the phone work? If the case is closed i can see through the little window on the case and interact, is that a lockscreen app of some sort? If I open the case, will it simply open to where I was previously, or my home screen of choice (Nova launcher)?
I wanna be a bit more clear on the software side of the workings of the s-view case before purchase. I recently bought my note 3 and updated to 4.4 already.
Thank you.
I used Spigen Slim Armor View and also have original S-View cover, but I dont think I could explain it in details.
I suggest to browse youtube for good overview on how S-View works because only pictures can explain otherwise there will be so many miss assumptions/understading in discussions. , you can post questions on youtube as well to get answer from on hands experience users.

If you close the cover, it will automatically lock but the screen will stay on for a few seconds.
When you open the cover, it will automatically unlock and you will go back to where you where before locking the phone (this can be truned off in the settings so that opening the cover takes you to the lockscreen).
If you press the power button with the cover closed, you will be taken to specialized interface in the window.
It shows you information like time, weather, missed calls, messages, number of steps walked (integrated with S Health).
You can check the missed calls and messages, take photos, control your music and make a note in action memo.
That's about it, I guess.
Alright, thanks for the responses.
My only fear was that the "specialized interface" with the cover closed (with missed calls, messages, weather, etc) is a touchwiz thing, so in other words I would need to use touchwiz as my launcher for it to work.
I guess that's not the case then, and using Nova or any other launcher is not a problem, the special interface still works.

You just need a touchwiz based ROM. Not the launcher itself.

Try holding down on the icons and moving them. If you can, remove them from the screen and re add them. If not, try disabling any xposed modules (if you have any that could effect the home screen) and look at it again. I don't personally use the touchwiz launcher and this never happened to me, so these are just guesses. Also, I noticed you have a strange colored Google app in your bottom bar. Did you do anything to the icon, and if so did you possibly break other icons while doing it?

I did factory reset my phone and still see these , is there any software to fix that or this is a hardware issue .
is this called a burn-in issue or it is called some thing else .
thanks for replying .
Are those applications actually there software wise? If not, then it would be a burn-in, where the screen has the images "burned in" and can't be removed. If they are there you could try flashing a stock tar using Odin for whatever build you want.

The only other thing I can suggest is to take your phone to Verizon and see what they can do. They might have to replace it.
having same issue in MotoG3
I got this phone(MotoG3) 15 days back, it worked fine for a few days and suddenly I noticed that a "Whats app Shadow" is coming on my home-screen, it was hardly noticeable at first but then it became darker and darker, I replaced the phone thinking it might be a software issue, and got the same handset today itself, it worked fine but again as I installed whats app the same shadow problem appeared, I uninstalled it and it started to work properly. Am not sure where is the problem, so please help me out.
About the shadow issue:
The home screen of whats app appears in my wallpaper and also above all the other apps, a transparent shadow kinda thingy, I hope you people got what am trying to say.
Thank You
I also have the same issue on my redmi note 8 but in my phone i doesn't shows the shadow of the icon but but the shadow off appa inside when I use anh app
I have the same issue on my Pixel; the shadow apps aren't directly on my home screen, but when apps are opened. Perhaps due to Google system.
I bought one of those cover case with a window in the front (model number SCR46) for my Z5 Premium (Gold, of course), but unlike my friends' Note, when I close the cover, I cannot make the screen turn on. On my friend's note, the part of the screen visible through the window will turn on if he presses the power button (so he can check missed calls, messages, etc. in the notification center. Also, I'm pretty sure he was able to actually swipe through stuff through the window). On my Z5 Premium, the screen stays black no matter what I do as long as the cover is closed. If I flip it open, then the screen immediately turns on.
So how come this doesn't work on my Z5 Premium? The cover, by the way, is made by Sony themselves, so there's probably an option somewhere that I need to toggle.

There is a NFC tag on the inside of the front cover. Tap your phone with it and it should turn on the front window settings on your phone. I believe I also saw the setting somewhere inside the settings app. Try searching for it if the NFC doesn't work.
Other than that, how do you like the case so far?
Doing so had the phone tell me a tag had been collected (along with a really long URL). The phone then proceeds to do absolutely nothing about it. I can't find any new setting(s) to toggle, either.
Possibly relevant: I've rooted my phone and replaced the rom with RomAur v1.0. I'm loving this case insofar. It's just that I paid 15 bucks extra for the window (a similar case without a window cost 15 bucks less), so I'd rather it work.
i have it. simply paring it with nfc tag. That's all. Then every time you close the case the screen change.

Style Cover - Change Wallpaper
Hi guys, is it possible to change the wallpaper on the style cover for a custom wallpaper ?
I currently have a Galaxy Note 3 with S-View cover, I've got a standard wallpaper on my normal homescreen, and then when I close the S-View cover it has a specific wallpaper just for the S-View, is it possible to achieve this with the Style Cover ?

From what I know using my style cover, no. You might want to try different style cover themes from the Play Store. I just have the black theme and it matches the clean and professional look of my black Z5 Premium. Wish it showed notifications better though.

Well technically, it is "different." It's just not possible to set a custom wallpaper for the style cover window. The wallpaper will be whatever the style cover theme you downloaded from the Play Store. When you open the style cover, the phone will show you your lockscreen/homescreen wallpaper instead.

Ok, that's good to know, I'm pretty sure I can live with that, especially as someone will eventually no doubt find a work around to let you add your own wallpaper, as I know that was the case with the Note 3.
Also are any 3rd party style covers available ? I'm not a fan of the plastic finish on the official Sony ones, and I was hoping that some stylish leather covers might be available.

Just as an update, I downloaded a different Style Cover theme from the Play Store and it allows my lock screen wallpaper to override the theme wallpaper. The name of the theme I downloaded is "Aqua Green." There still doesn't seem to be a method to change the Style Cover wallpaper separately though. Whatever you have set on the lockscreen is what you get.

You could try another launcher...
Hi, guys...
If I understand your question correctly, you want the dock bar positioned on the right hand side of the screen, whilst in landscape mode...
It doesn't seem possible with the Samsung stock launcher, or at least, I would guess, not without flashing something.
However, I note that it is possible with Nova Launcher, and therefore it's also likely possible with other launchers too, although I haven't tried them.
Hope this is of some help.
Rgrds,
Ged.
(Take a look at my screenshot below, which depicts Nova Launcher running on my new Sammy Tab A8 (2019)... in landscape mode. You'll note that the dock bar is vertically arranged on the right hand side of the screen.)
I want the three buttons for Home, Back and <whatever the third one is called> on the short end.... which mimics the function those buttons had when they were separated from the screen on older versions of Samsung tablets.
It looks like your gesture tabs are still at the bottom.

Hi, jethrine...
Yep, you're quite right. My apologies... I was confounding the dock bar with the navigation bar, which given my long years of experience with Android is kind of inexcusable.
You could try something like Fluid Navigation Gestures, which I have installed on my Moto G6 phone, and with which you can place gesture navigation functions for Home, Back and Recents on whichever edge of the screen you prefer, regardless of the landscape/portrait orientation.
I've just tried it on my Sammy A8 tab, and it seems to work OK. Incidentally, you only need root or ADB for hiding the default navigation bar, and since the A8 tab already has that ability natively, it's not that much of an issue.
Anyhow, take a look at my additional screenshot below, similar to my previous one... but this time, next to the dock bar, you'll see 3 gesture swipe areas provided by FNG, for the Home, Back and Recents functions. I've set the transparency to low, so they can be easily seen in the screenshot; they can be made completely invisible, if you so choose.
Here's the Google PlayStore link... It's a free app for the basic stuff, with a small payment for some additional features, like animations and the launching of apps...

Hi, secretwolf98...
Sorry, but I haven't rooted my SM-T290, and I probably never will. So I'm afraid I can't really answer your questions.
Rooting will likely void your warranty though... So be careful.
