Hi, I'm using the VNS-L21 model, I unlocked bootloader, rooted the phone, enabled double touch to wake, and then unrooted the phone, can I do a factory reset without problems? And is there a way to relock the bootloader? Thanks in advance!

I dont think so. I would just flash the stock firmware. You can flash the latest firmware or seek for an older one. Once you flashed stock you're bootloader will be relocked and root will be gone.

Okay, can I flash the latest VNS-L21 rom? Because my is VNS-L21C66B130, can I flash other roms such as C44 and so on?

I would recommend to just flash L21C66B versions, otherwise you'll have to change the oeminfo file, which Im pretty sure can be done using the toolkit.
After changing the oeminfo file your Cxx will be different and you'll be able to flash versions with the new Cxx (Cxx is your region and Bxx is the version of your firmware.)

Thanks, just one more problem... Can't seem to find the C66 rom and if I'm correct I just flash the rom through TWRP and I'll get back to literally stock with locked bootloader?

Look for the SRK tool on the roms and recoveries section of the p9 lite. I believe you can change your oeminfo with that, and changing oeminfo will change your C66 to something you want. And yes, it will be full stock. No apps, bootloader, recoveries, root or anything.

Because nobody reply, I took the chance and download the firmware. Unfortunately THIS IS EU version firmware!
So if you have stock, locked bootloader MEA Mate 8 phone (came with L29C185B103 firmware) don't waste your time downloading this as it will not compatible. Except off course you unlock bootloader and flash it with fastboot.
I just hope anyone upload any stock firmware provide the information of the firmware too.

Hello,

Thanks a lot.

You can find stock recovery by downloading a Update.app file from Huawei and using Huawei Update Extractor tool to unpack the .app file. I think you have to use the same package as your system is (for example if your build is B370, use that). If something goes wrong you can always flash everything back from fastboot

I'm trying to flash nougat and get root, but i am having a hard time get it done. The build always shows up with test-keys.
I managed to get twrp installed and it can read the card, but installing SuperSU fails probably due to "cannot mount /version".
I fixed cust (which could also not be mounted) by flashing cust.img on the phone, and now I want to do the same, but I cannot see any /version in Huawei extrator.
Just realized that I maybe could make a backup of /version with twrp before rebooting, but I already downgraded and reflashed nougat at million times today.

I rebranded from L29 to AL10 and changed it then. No afterwards. Is it the "VERLIST"? I tried to flash it, but the build is still showing as "test-keys".

Before this I have rebranded my phone to AL10 but then since there's a Nougat for C636. I flashed cust c636 back then flash nougat C636 again but I got the same problem with you build number is test-keys. I downgraded it to C636B211 then install C636 oeminfo using SRK tools and flash Nougat C636. Now my build number detected as NXT-L29C636B521.

I'm stuck with TWRP! Every version I try can't read any partition inside the phone..
As a result of that, I can't flash nor backup the oeminfo or any other partition!
I successfully just rebranded a VKY-L09 single sim to a VKY-L29 dual sim but this VKY-AL00 is giving me a hard time!
Hs anyone managed to find the correct TWRP?
m.
EDIT:
I asked to the funky huawei guys and they gave me a test twrp which is able to read and mount the partition! nice guys really!

Did anyone succeed ?
VKY-AL00 rebrand final solution
After spending 10+ hours trying to get this phone to an european model, I kinda gave up. The main reason for the rebrand was because the newsfeed was in chinese and there is no play store, so you can hardly get your normal apps.
So I finally decided to go with openkirin (.net).
- Reflash your stock recovery and do a clean install(maybe through your stock recovery) of the latest stock version of your system.
- Then follow the guide on openkirin.
I used the omnirom 3.1 beta. Works great, the guide only took 30 min tops. Everything seems to work fine and you have direct access to an english newsfeed and the playstore.
I followed every guide on rebranding, but got nothing to work. This gives your phone a clean android system so it is at least fully usable.
Good luck

Hello,
based on my experience with this device, this is only possible
if you followed rules by Meticulus...
Using his recovery you should have created a backup
through which return to rooted stock.
If you don't have that backup this is not possible anymore...
Cheers
Sadly i dont have any backup but i have the bootloader unlock code. If i do a full ota can i unlock my bootloader with the same code?

Sure, but...
you have to go back to stock first.
