Hi Everybody , i have just successfully flashed to JP6 . But One thing i notice is , it doesn't notify once my battery is fully charged .
For your information , i have not root my phone yet.
Can tell me whats happening here ? it is a defect ? or there is something i need to work on to fix that.
nope, keep charging and it'll pop. your battery is "uncalibrated", showing a false percentage. you can delete batterystats.bin via Clockwerk's Recovery(not sure if you need root for this, haven't use this for ages) or adb(root) or Terminal(root).
go google how! can't remember offhandedly
I find it rather annoying...

Greetings from mexico!!
I have a question,
I follow the Root tutorial with gingerbreak (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1046626&) and now I have problems with my battery
Has anyone had problems with battery after doing root?
I have an AT & T Atrix, and now after it fully charged battery only goes up to 80%
Any solution??
What to do?

Hola paisano!
Did you wiped the cache and dalvik-cache?
I would suggest you to do that.
Wiping the battery stats seems to do nothing, but worth to try too.

first of all I will guide you how to root your phone.
you can find my thread here on how to do it
http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s4/i9505-develop/root-samsung-galaxy-s4-i9500-i9505-t2982844
and following my tutorial will solve your issue of supesu app.
and personally i prefer using cm12 unofficial which is android lollipop 5.0.2
and your battery needs to be recalibrated. Just charge your phone to 100%
then use it till the phone shutsdown by itself (dont overuse it use it normally as you do daily)
once the phone is switched off by itself charge the phone till 100% without using it and you are set to go
and using a custom rom will also give a boost so do all the steps

You can install Servicely or Greenify and battery life will be greater than stock.

No you wouldn't,as long you never tweaks the kernels(change cpu governor, overclocking etc) and also some features on gravity box using exposed installer could affect your battery life, basically rooting is only unchained the system, any modifications after rooting could affect your battery life
Hey guys
Looking for some helpful advice here. I have a 2016 Samsung Galaxy Tab A (aka SM-T585) and I would really like to get the app Battery Charge Limiter to work on it to extend the battery lifespan. The app requires root access to function however, so I am asking for some help on how I go about doing so.
I suppose I need to flash TWRP somehow first, and then install, what, Magisk?
Please advice, I would prefer to not brick my device.

I posted a tiny guide after unlocking mine a year ago. The only thing that's changed I think is that we now have an official TWRP which you can find HERE :fingers-crossed:
