Wifi randomly freezing? - ZTE Axon 7 Questions & Answers

Hey dudes, I am having an issue with Wifi on my Axon 7. Randomly on when I am on wifi the connection will randomly freeze and websites will error out as unreachable. The wifi connection is still working as normal and the phone is fine but no internet site is accessible. Then it will start working as normal after a few minutes or a reboot or disconnect and reconnection to the Wifi.
This happens to me at least once or twice a day.
I have tested this a number of ways, ensuring other devices are still able to connect to the wifi/internet while the Axon 7 is unreachable. and used different wifi access points..
Also, i am on the latest B29 USA Axon 7 rom, this happened without root and now with Bootloader unlocked and root.
Any ideas?

After the soak update my wifi doesn't work properly, any ideas?

So I updated in the latest soak test to 2.3.6 and after that I have been having issues with the wifi. My home network drops and reconnects all too often and when I run a speed test the bandwidth is bottle necked terribly. My laptop gets 35.57Mbps down and 7.19Mbps up but my phone gets around 1-2Mbps down and about half way through the test I get a connection error every time. I also attempted to connect to a friends wifi earlier today and the connection just constantly kept resetting. Anyone have any ideas as to what I can do to get my wifi restored?
..
I will give that a shot thanks.
Here is another strange thing it does. When I turn the wifi on it doesn't automatically connect to my network I have to go into the wifi settings before it will prompt the phone to connect to my wifi.
not having those issues at all.
..
I unlocked the bootloader and my wifi worked fine after that. I have no clue why that would have fixed it but it sure did. Previously to that I had not modified my phone in any way.

[Q] Stock N10 with 5.0.1 will not remain connected to Wifi. Works in Safemode.

Stock Nexus 10 - Not rooted.
Following OTA upgrade to 5.0.1 LRX22C
Connection to home wifi cannot be maintained. After entering the password, approx 4 seconds later, the connection drops. Subsequent attempts to re-enter the password result in the error "failed to connect to network".
If I turn off the device wifi off and on again, I can reconnect for all of 4 seconds once again, before the connection drops once more.
I can connect to the wifi hotspot on my phone without issue.
If I start the device in safe mode, it will connect to the network, and remain connected indefinitely.
Unfortunately, this is my daughter's N10, and there are hundreds of apps installed. Methodically uninstalling them, and trying the connection will take me weeks.
Are there any suggestions to more quickly identify the app that is causing the wifi to drop?
I think one by one is the only way to be sure. I have though heard that anti-virus apps have proved particularly troublesome for some people on Lollipop. If there's anything on the tablet like that then I'd look there first.

Have you powered down/up the home router? Or forget and then add the wifi details on your tablet again? It won't take that long to uninstall a bunch of apps at the same time. You could do a binary chop, or do ten at a time. Reinstalling a bunch of apps - all of them, even - won't take too long if you do it via the google play web site.
Solved.
It was McAfee All Access. And specifically, the Web Security, Wifi Security setting.
Turned off wifi security, established the connection, saved the connection, then turned wifi security back on. No problem anymore.
Why it did it is not yet understood. We have several android devices running McAfee security. Only the one with Lolliepop suffered this issue.
Thanks for the tips guys.

Wifi connection problems.

Hello guys and girls,
I've got a problem with the wifi connection of my Nexus 6P.
In the settings it says 'saved' at first.
And after a moment it says 'authentication problem' or 'Wifi Connection Failure'.
If I restart the phone it will connect but after a minute or so it loses connection.
I tried the wifi on my work and it looks working correctly there.
I tried these things:
Restarting the Nexus 6P
Restarting the modem
Restarting the Access Point
Change channels of the modem and the access point
change wifi frequency
Forgetting the networkname and connecting again.
Turning off the Access Point but the Nexus 6P won't connect to the modem.
Turning off the wifi of the modem but the Nexus 6P won't connect to the Acces Point.
Do you have any suggestions?
This problem is annoying.
Ps: funny thing, the language on my 6P is Dutch.
But the status under the network name is in English.
Except for 'Verbinding maken/connecting'
Edit: Some strange thing happened.
I restarted the phone while charging.
And the wifi stays connected. Not losing connection for about 11 hours. Now I'm unplugging the cable and I'll keep you updated.

New OPT reboots randomly and disconnect Wi-Fi and SIM's

Received my new OPT 1 month ago and have not been able to use it, Wi-Fi and SIM issues.
The unit will loose all network connectivity right off the set-up screen if you wait for 2 or 3 minutes, if you actually enter a valid Wi-Fi code, it won't connect but you reboot from there and it connects to the credentials you had just provided prior to reboot, I'f i complete the full setup and I'm lucky enough to not have the device reboot randomly, it will work until an app or the phone tries to access anything related to localisation, the Localisation icon will popup and then Wi-Fi and SIM's are both disconnected, Wi-Fi eventual comes back if you turn off the localisation icon but SIM's won't until you reboot the device.
I've flashed every official OOS ROM and tried on each same results.
Any help or direction would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

WiFi Problems

So this started happening around yesterday.
Basically when I turn on WiFi everything is great for a minute or so and then suddenly the connection drops and when I go turn it on again all my saved WiFi (in range or not) just don't appear wich means I can't connect to my WiFi at home.
In my computer the WiFi works perfectly.
My P8 Lite is rooted with Magisk for more than 3 months now and only yesterday this problem started to happen.
Hope you can help!
