You should try XenonHD. I haven't got any reboots.

Will do when I get in from work. Rebooted this morning. Gonna send the log cat. I really like parnoidandroid but so many reboots.

This phone features a new ics based OS called Flyme , this is nothing like miui it brings a whole new look and feel with different customization . Mabye the wonderful nice, loving people on here can get this on phones in no time.

I'm having dejavu I could of swore I just saw this some where else and downloaded. Not that I plan on doing anything...

looks very similar to WIUI that xboxfan was trying to port for us .... maybe this one is easier to port

We already have a wiui port although it still isn't ready for to be used as a dd. When I am completly done with 2.3.9 I will take another look at it.

Both are failing at the same error, but they're bootlooping, so I can see their boot animations (well, Meizu didn't make one apparently, so I just put the CM one in there).

Think I know how to fix those. Just need to reroot and add recovery and flash when I get home.

1st CM build is complete. Lets see if it boots

Better then I thought. It's stuck at the sammy splash screen, however the kernel seems to be loading up.

Its a good start!

I'm not sure if I will support the RIL variant simply because it uses RIL. That would meen more driver related stuff. And I can't debug that very well without owning the device.

Getting ADB in charging mode but not yet in splash screen

Looks like the dtb img could be fault. Will try to get a new build done today. For anyone wondering if I had done progress... Not really since I was switching distros on my PC so I had to redownload the cm sources

A custom rom like CM with a good kernel plus root + greenify should do it.

I personally recommend FireKernel, but without overclock. Excelent battery life and performance.

any recommendations for which kernel? i was using Lineage unofficial and holy **** was it a load of garbage.

The dev (Mazda) made a statement about not allowing posts of DU on XDA, idk if this applies to unofficial ones, check their g+ just in case

All I can say is this is my favorite ROM, been using it since it hit AFH and I've had 0 issues. Thank you!

could we possibly get an updated build? i've seen some amazing changes in the recent code, and this ROM is beyond stable. :fingers-crossed:
