Hey all,
I have recently been flashing different ROMS on to my Huawei P9 lite VNS-L31. Now I have one wich doesn't have the NFC as pre-installed hardware, is there any way I can flash/copy/add certain files and folders trough adb/fastboot/recov/ to make the device recognize the chip?
I have allready been scrolling down the pages, here , google and huawei but no luck. ( even mailed huawei to ask them about it, but i doubt they'll answer any time soon ). So any help or guidance would be much appreciated !

( beanstalk has been dirty flashed over CM13 to fix finger ID installation )
KERNEL : 3.10.201-g26b13ba

Firstly sorry for my bad English, im living in Turkey..
I have a device that named as Huawei P9 Lite on box, and Huawei VNS-L31 model name on device.
I dont know is it huawei p9 lite 2017 or huawei p9 lite. I bought it this year in TURKCELL (telephone operator in Turkey) so its an original box and original device.
The information that on box is :
Model : Huawei VNS-L31
Marketing Name : HUAWEI P9 Lite
Color: White
Rom : 16GB
RAM : 3GB
And here is my problem.
I make my phone bootloop after that i send it to a different service. They fix the bootloop but they install old and wrong rom to my device. I didnt send it again and i found ELITE ROM for Huawei in this forum. (This is the only rom that i can install...)
I was using that rom but actually im bored. I want to try different roms.
But i cant install any rom or any TWRP except elite rom and elite twrp...
My device is unlocked bootloader. When i try to install any twrp, as example Meticulus TWRP it stuck at :
Your device has been unlocked and can't be trusted.

And nothing happens. But elite Twrp is working, i tried to install all of the Huawei P9 lite roms in this forum with elite twrp but any of them is not booting. For example...
Lineage OS -> Bootloop.
AOSPA rom -> Bootloop.
Hyperactive Rom -> Bootloop (cuz its based on lineage... elite rom is working for me but this is not.)
I make everything in instructions but its not working. I wipe, install vendor etc. but can't still made it. I tried a lot of times. Again and again, but i can't...
Please help me, what is the difference beetween Elite rom and others, why i can only install that but can't others, what should i do?

Ive tried a P8 ROM, but it bootlooped and I had to use eRecovery to get my EMUI back, fortunately my phone is okay now.
So, anything like LineageOS 15.X for my PRA-LX1 P9 device?
Btw, I already got EMUI 8 along with Android 8 Oreo. I just would like to have a lighter & more customisable OS, than EMUI is.

Why you tried to flash a P8 rom ? P8 has a completely different hardware...
Well, i think you should look at p8 lite 2017 subthread.
There you can find all your answers...
Seems that p9 lite 2017 and p8 lite 2017 are same device
but with a different names.
P9 lite 2017 = P8 lite 2017

Dear user,
I never wrote about trying p8 rom,
but to look at p8 lite 2017 thread...
It's a bit weird, you registered here on the forum,
but you haven't searched the web, you don't know
the hardware of your device, but expect to
answer that P9 lite 2017 and P8 lite 2017 are not the same extremely similar devices.
Well, then try to look better and you will realize that the "p9 lite 2017"
has different variants and however slightly different from each other
(nfc yes / no or 3gb ram / 4 gb ram, etc...),
we are talking about the same hardware / device ......

hello guys am new here but i really need your help i did a hard rest of my mom's huawei p9 lite the problem is after the hard rest there is no keyboard only tap to speak( voice commands ) what should i do ? i tried alot of roms trying to flash it but they won't work
edit : its huawei p9 lite vns-l31 and i forgot what android version it was on 6.0 or the updated 7.0
Hi guys... I got hold of a Huawei p8 GRA...
I was looking for a custom rom for it but i saw that they only have custom roms up to Android 7.1 without working camera...
The lite version however has more custom roms... And with newer lineage versions and camera...
So is it possible to run one of then on my p8 GRA?
Or does anyone has a sollution for the not working camera on 7.1?

Has anyone the pixel experience Rom (Android Pie) unofficial for the Huawei p9 lite please ?
It's wiped out of internet ! couldn't find neither on sourceforge where tutorials were headed to nor in pixelexperience website..
It's the same rom for honor 5c and honor 7 lite since they both have the same HiSilicon Kirin 650.
I would be thankful to any user providing me this rom.

Android 9 but I prefer the Pixel experience.

Pixel Experience P unofficial ROM requires Project Treble support. Unfortunately, P9 lite isn't Project Treble compatible device , (Project Treble requires Android 8+) . There's no way to install this Custom ROM on device with Kirin 650.

Advice to you. Dont flash custom rom. I installed it and got no performance. And the battery life is getting very low
