Just thought to share my observations with everyone else here since HTC is notorious for not publishing their changelogs. I happen to have two Desire's – one with official Froyo released yesterday and one with 2.1 - update 1 (software number 1.21.405.2) . So before I upgrade the other phone I thought to do some comparison. So here it is…
Some highly anticipated features include:
• Apps to SD, the "Froyo" way
• 720p video recording
• Built-in Flash 10.1 support for web browsing
New items in Applications:
• App sharing
• News and weather
• Wi-fi hotspot
• Navigation
• Google search
• Videos
• Flashlight
Messaging:
• Larger message compose area with animated attach icon
• Character counter is now always present
• MMS slideshow
Keyboard:
• Language switch button
Widgets:
• "Profile" and "Ringtone" widgets from "More HTC widgets" list are now installed by default. Even if you don't need them you there is no need to uninstall them cause they are very small in memory size
• Calculator widget (4 styles)
• Hotspot switch
• One more style for Messages widget – full screen message list
Minor and major app changes:
• Gmail app now looks a lot better.
* Black top bar instead of gray (a place where your account name is displayed)
* sender picture displayed in message header
* labels are now colored just like in your browser
* Options to confirm delete, archive and send instead of just delete
* Auto advance can be set to newer, older or conversation list.
* Message text size can be set
* Option to notify once for new e-mail, not for every new massage• New version of Google Map 4.3.1 (which is still missing from the market, btw)
Settings:
• Sound and display settings are now separated and reorganized with few things added
• Display now auto rotates in three directions (cw, ccw, and portrait)
• "Manage Applications" section has undergone some nice changes. Now there are tabs: "Downloaded", "Running", "All" and "On SD Card". Every app can be transferred on SD card if enabled by the developer
• Portable Wi-Fi hotspot (also available in applications)
• Security settings now include Pattern lock along with Password and PIN lock. There is also an option to delay locking the phone after it goes to sleep.
Miscellaneous changes:
• Recent app list (long press home key) now looks a bit different, better design if you ask me
• New icons for those HTC switch widgets (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth…)
• When you turn on the display, first hardware buttons are lit and then screen is turned on, contrary to the previous ROM version… just a minor thing.
• Added a frame to caller picture
• Two buttons on caller screen mute and speakerphone now have small border
Bugs / issues /disappointments:
• I noticed a few bugs / glitches regarding full screen weather widget and messages widget after system boot. After connected to PC via USB, widges that display data (weather, messages, agenda, news) just reload data again. Also after dissconnect from PC the same story. During this full screen weather widget dies. This is serious bug!
• Right border is missing from Speakerphone button on caller screen (sometimes right border is missing from both buttons)
• Animated attach icon in new message rolls out a few buttons. Rightmost button (edit slideshow) is missing its bottom border.
• No sound notification for new mail?!
• Still there is no promised out of the box Divx support. Shame…
I don’t use social networking so I can not comment anything regarding these features. Please feel free to add more stuff to this list cause I am sure there are some more treats in there I overlooked, especially in Settings area.
Also let's fill the "Issues" section cause that may inspire HTC to perform a maybe minor update and fix few more things.

There is some confusion (or should I say mystery?) around this 10.3.1 update. Some users would have received a notification on their Mi8 Lite about this update on or around 11/4, but that notification soon disappeared. It looks like Xiaomi has for some reasons decided to withdraw this update - see discussions in the Xiaomi forum (http://en.miui.com/thread-6314764-1-1.html). The official ROM download site (http://en.miui.com/download-346.html#552) is also still listing 10.2.2 as the latest. However, Xiaomi hasn't actually removed the OTA file from its servers and users can still download the update if they know the direct link to the file (which is in the OP).
Hopefully Xiaomi will clarify what's behind this "disappeared update" soon. Until then, I would say it is "install the update at your own risk".

it has always been like this. otq updates are pushed to random users as beta stable updates for limited time. After receiving feedback, they either release the same ota or suspend it.

I didn't know that they do this to users of the STABLE ROM who have not signed up to the beta program...
The update seems to be ok for now. I updated my Mi 8 lite before 3 or 4 days and it is ok. I updated manually but I don't see a difference with previous android version (8.1). Night mode in the camera is terrible I mean the pictures have a lot of noise and quality is bad. Of course, this is my opinion.

Yes the update has reappeared yesterday both on the official download site (your link above) as well as through System settings-About phone-Phone update on the phone.
This latest 1.7G file is the one to use for magisk users, as the earlier smaller differential update does not like the magisk modified boot.img.

What I don't understand and it is really annoys me is why each any every app wants to have access to internet. Even calculator request it as well as video and gallery.
Is there a reason for that except sending some report (maybe all my data ) back to Meizu?

Global development is mostly dead. Don't expect an update on global. If you want update, just go to A.

You can block access to internet on security.Atleast flyme is allowing to do so.
Did anyone have issue with the NFC? I uploaded the "Super Night View" edition, which is also downloadable form flyme.cn and the NFC reader doesn't do anything. I tried different apps and none of them read any tags. The apps are aware if the NFC is disabled as it request to enable first. But can't read any tag.
Is the "Super Night View" mode reachable in the camera app in the firmware uploaded here?
Tried both type of 7.3 ROMs and the NFC doesn't work in any of them. The NFC reader app is aware if it is on or off but can't recognise any tags.
Does anyone having the same issue? Is there a solution for it? Or maybe my phone is defective?

I think you misunderstood NFC in p6p as ordinary one. Understand that, android beam is not supported by it.So that we can't use it to read tags and further. Its only use is for paying at shops. But also it is limited to some chinese banks and apps.So basically no use of nfc for global users.
Talking about super night mode on camera. Still not implemented even it's available as new feature. Hope it comes with flyme 8 if they release one for p6p.

Not true, I am using it for paying and it is not chinese app. I have tried with 2 banks in Poland and it is working.
Now i have some problems with debugging mode. Despite the fact I can run it no phone, the let's say home unit, is not seeing my phone.
Recently our devices that have not been intervened for modification have received the new version of Android 11 based on MiUI 12.2.1.0 (RJKMIXM) so they have added things such as also removed things and a few bugs, then I will leave a list of what that to my appreciation I managed to discover with this update and it would be great if they also share more things.
Additions and improvements:
- iOS style bar available for gestures (with option to remove in settings) without the need for the long-awaited Poco Launcher 3.0.
- Improved animations such as multitasking and when opening apps.
- Fixed pixelated screen on lock screen.
- New emojis. (LOL)
- From Poco's Launcher if you slide down the right side you lower the control center, to the left you lower the notification center, it is no longer necessary to do it from the status bar and clearly you have to have the new control center active and from Home do the gestures.
- By having the device horizontally, if you slide the new control center, now you can see it in a better way, that is, on the left side you will see the customizable quick accesses and the right side the fixed ones with wifi and data.
- Sound assistant in the sound and vibration section
- Beauty mode for video calls
Things they removed and certain bugs:
- I cannot access the last app from Home by pressing the multitasking button twice if you have it active
- They removed the notification priorities (high, normal, unimportant, etc.)
- They removed the button for the pop-up windows from multitasking as well as the one from the split screen (I think it was that) that was in the upper left corner
- Even if you have accelerated animations (x0.5), the new animations (such as multitasking and when entering apps) will still be at x1
- In certain sections they removed some vibrations
- In some notifications (it only happened to me on WhatsApp and Google messaging) when you get a single notification, it is misconfigured
- (bug) If you have dark mode, when accessing the section with the shutdown, restart, etc. buttons, the letters will be the only ones that will be white, the icons will be black (f for those with dark backgrounds)
- (bug) 50% brightness down is lower than it was before

I know, I actually did the post there and it appeared here in some strange way.
Everything on the list is with the phone factory reset after updating.
how about floating windows? i can't do that as in previous V12.0.4.0.
ok. any of you that have received the update from updater app have force close from updater app after apply the update? After clearing data of that app, i got no more FC on the app but now i am unable to see changelog, its says "you don't have permission to access the update log", and trying to download last update manually says "Can’t download update, wait a minute or two"... it's really annoying!

Now the the "go on home screen" and the "open recents" don't work at all, neither with poco launcher or nova launcher. It's a big bug for me and now i must use the buttons on the navigation bar.

I have similar issue. It works if default launcher is set to poco launcher. But when it's set to nova launcher home gesture swipe up doesn't work outside the launcher.

I have the same issues with nova launcher.
I also have a lot of issues with the share option in apps wich doesn't work.
Does Someone know how to disable bobble notifications? Can't find it in the settings!
Hi, I am having problems with the new version 12.2.1. When I try to open a youtube, instagram, navigator link from another app it says that no app can open the content. In the previous version 12.0.3 there was no problem

-> needs less power and works for me! You can hide the app overlay if you don’t like it!.

Hi there. I got the new update with all the bugs that are already mentioned by other members in previous posts. The one that is bothering me the most and gives me a hard time is the messed up notifications. What I mean is that when I have more than one notifications, either from the same app (grouped ones) or from different apps, the senders' names and text gets confused with other apps' notification text or sender's name. I tried a factory reset, but unfortunately it didn't solve the bug. The action buttons are also misaligned and sometimes not fully visible, but that's already mentioned by other members. Does anyone have the same bug? Can you propose a workaround at least until a fix is released? Thank you!!

because my phone was more and more unusable, i now use my Sam Note 9 for the next time.
Rollback and new installation on POCO F2 fails because verification problems during the process.
On the Note 9 with LineageOS 17 everything is alright. There i use "Full Screen gestures" (paid version)

No. But the way to do differs a little bit.
On: -> developer option " freeform window" must be activated. Then a special tile will give " flying window". Start the app and press the tile...
Off: tap on flying app navbar and swipe up the app window.

Eventually I managed to disable bubble notifications for telegram. When you open the chat bubble, in the bottom left corner there is a "Manage" button. If you tap on that it brings you to a setting page where you can disable the toggle for bubble notifications.

Miui 12.2.4 is so buggy!
1. Full gesture is not working with 3rd party launchers
2. Recent apps is not working properly even in poco launcher. It appears blank when pressing the recent app button
3. There is no app when clicking a link from browser
4. There is an error when sharing a file to an app
5. There is an error playing a video when using a 3rd party gallery app

Hi,
I have updated my poco f2 pro to miui 12.2.6.0 but the Notification issue is not fixed (mixing all the notification, WhatsApp notifications are not grouped like in miui 11). But this update feels much smoother operations (miui 12.2.5.0 was little bit slower than miui 12.0.4.0) in the phone.
The new 8T open beta 01 is now available on the Oxygen update app. Let the games begin.

OB1 is working with magisk v22 and radioactive kernel 2.1.4 flawlessly.
I lost 5g option after flashing beta. I had it at stable

Anybody having fc's since update? It seems to be related to camera access.
So the issue i was having is a result of the issue android was having with the webview app. Google pushed an update for both system webview and chrome to fix the issue. Apparently it was a problem for a wide range of apps but only affected a handfull of people
