I've had this phone for a month now but I' can't seem to make the music player display the lyrics.
I've checked and it seems that every track has the lyrics in the proper mp3 tag field, but I get no lyrics yet.
any suggestion would be great, I'm lost. Thanks.

ok so i have had my G1 since it was released, and I am just now starting to listen to music on it via bluetooth. My question is, In my library the music player pulls up every audio file on my phone. that includes MP3's, notifications, ringtones ect ect. How can i get it so it ONLY see's my music? Any help would be awesome, thanks guys!

I am useing tunewiki as my daily mp3 player and the app is okay.
What i realy miss is a mp3 player which detects if there are multiple artists in the artists tag and assigns this song to different artists in my library.
My squeezebox @ home can do this via the word "feat." in the tag and via ",".
Is there a player which has that feature?

I manage all my music in iTunes on my Mac and transfer it to my devices with iSyncr, which is a great app. However, in iTunes i use the album artist field a lot (e.g. artist: Eminem feat. Dr. Dre, album artist: Eminem).
This causes a problem in most Android music players as they don't read the album artist tag and make my artist list way too long and unreadable. Currently I'm using Google Play Music player which does in fact support the album artist tag. But i would love to use the stock music player on the Galaxy Tab 2 because of the shortcut dock on the standard launcher.
Mostly I'm just curious about why some players support the album artist field why others doesn't. Also, I have searched and searched about this without finding a lot of useful information. Am I the only one who gets annoyed by this? Anyone else having trouble with music tagging at all?

So lyrics to my songs have been added via iTunes and when I put them in my phone, none of the lyrics display. I also noticed that songs that are mpeg files will display the lyrics but yeah not mp4. Is there a reason behind this? Is there a way to fix this? I don't like using other music players so please don't suggest others (just prefer using stock). I love lyrics and this is a feature I hope Samsung will resolve one day

I've been googling it for a while now and can't find a solution.
I have a dual sim lg g6 - H870DS.
My problem is that I can not get the LG music player to display lyrics for songs.
I get a "No lyrics available message" when tapping on the cover
So far I've tried 2 ways:
- Editing the ID Tags in the MP3 file (Lyrics field).
- downloading *.lrc file and putting into the same folder as mp3 file (This worked on my friends Samsung, We've copied those two files and worked no problem. It even synced the lyrics to the music)
Did anyone get the lyrics to work on the LGs music player?
