Missing Samsung Media HUB on Samsung Tab

I just got my Tab and i noticed that it does not have the media Hub and i believe it might be a German model the keyboard is displaying that layout anyone can help me with that please.

Any one knows how i can get the Samsung Media HUB on this thing?

How do i use that apk and why does it say music? I am looking for the media hub thats used to buy apps movies.

It's the only "Hub" app on my Tab, but I don't think it has anything to do with Movies. Sorry.

Thank you very much but i dont know if this would work on the TAB since no one tested it and i dont even know to install this apk file unless someone can help thanks again

I installed it on my own tab before posting the link. It works fine. As for installing it, just copy to the tab and open it with an installer app or file manager from the market.

Thanks this did install but location is not supported any work around that

err...where's the file?

If you read 4 posts before yours, you will see the URL I can't login the account (MediaHub) however. Even I just resgister. It says my email not found but when logging in samsung web site, it works. Go figure!

[REQUEST]: Spotify Music

Does anyone have some working apk for the new Spotify Music app? The old one tells me to download the new one from GPlay, but the new one isn't compatible and even trying apk didn't work. Thanks

Rant: Facebook messenger using the Ringtone sound!

I am copying the review I posted on Facebook Messenger app page on play store . If you share the same pain, please post the same review on Facebook Messenger app page.
Android has different sound settings for Ringtone and Notification. Ringtone is purely used when someone calls you and it rings your phone. Notification sound is used for, of course, notifications, like when someone messages you or you get a new email.
Many of us keep our Ringtone sound enabled and notification sound disabled when at work or during night, so you don't get disturbed by constant notification sound but you still get phone calls.
However, facebook messenger completely ignores this. They use the Ringtone sound instead of notification sound. So even when I have muted my notification, my phone keeps buzzing since the facebook messenger sound is passing through the Ringtone sound.
This issue had been in the app for long, I thought they would figure it out themselves but its been more than a year with the bug and they still haven't fixed it. I will change review to 5 stars after they fix it

or, just stop using the app all together and just use it from your browser and let your battery love you ;P

Just use greenify without enabling it in xposed to greenify Facebook messenger and it won't bug you anymore and you'd still get your phone calls through just like normal[emoji16]

i'd also recommend in addition to that, download autostart check and go in and kill the majority of the autostarts from FB as well to truly control it

Check your facebook app in play store. U probably have a update. If u do don't update it. Because u will get this.......

I'm thinking it's only a US thing. I use xprivacy module to fake all the info that Facebook asks for (permissions) including the country and that's probably why. Lol
I never had this thing telling me what to do.

Go over to the k8 square watch thread - grab the firmware and flash it with MTK SP tool. It's fairly hard to brick this watch.

I played around with the K18 Round I got from GearBest.
Short review:
+ very nice
+ good quality
+ not as heavy as iMacwear M7
+ touchscreen works fine (no dead areas like on M7)
+ nice UI
+ fast charging in less than 1 hour from zero
+ hardware buttons can be used while charging
- no Playstore. I had many tries, but logging into my Google account isn't successful.
- Android system and apps are not designed for round displays. So mostly you miss some important buttons like OK, Next or Menu. IMHO this watch is not for beginners who want to use more than the pre-installed apps.

I agree with you.
I have contacted the manufacturer to see if they want to fix the Google apps issue - I'm happy to work with them on it.
After all, Gearbest advertised the watch as having google play store.

i thought it was the same.
and i also can't find any rom for that device
this is my last choice

Thanks mate.
It's got to be the default or build.prop or MNS .xml that is set to something Google does not like.
Did you get google services/settings running? That would probably be a key apk in this.

I installed 4 or 5 apk like services, framework, playstore / vending / provision, gas or so. As I said there were no forced closes.
I didn't find anything in the build.prop. And I tried using the complete etc/permissions from M7.

Does anyone know if kernel sources/config is available for this or similar device?
I'd modify the display driver to have kind of 'overscroll' empty bars on top and bottom of screen so that you could access all the info and controls in apps. Something similar you have on other devices with emulated home/back buttons on the bottom of touchscreen, so should be easy to implement.

Editing id3 deletes my music!

I was editing the id3 tag using sony music
But this feature doesn't add these info to the music meta, so when i play the music using Google play music these info aren't added
So i habe download Atoma Tag from the play Store, editing was fine, but suddenly, for now when I do the edit, the songs gets deleted!

Don't know, mate. Have you tried contacting the developer of the app and providing logs for them? That's probably a good start. You can google "how to take a logcat" if you're unsure how to do it. It's well documented and there's quite a few ways to go about it. Always supply logs when you report bugs. They get fixed faster and better that way!

Are you sure the music isn't still on your phone? Maybe the tags were edited in such a way that Google Music no longer sees the files. Did you use a file explorer to verify that your music was deleted?
