NavBar suddenly missing [email protected]$% - LG V20 Questions & Answers

Im very confused... I've been using my V20 (tmobile) for weeks now. Rooted and everything long time ago everything fine. I replaced boot animation from pixel phone but there was some bug on top of the screen, Line with pixels during boot but booted fine but my bottom nav button are missing suddenly. OK So i restored old boot animation. but still my nav bar is missing. There is nothing for me to make it come back. I wanted to restore my backup in TWRP but looks like I lost that too so nothing to restore from.
Anyone had this problem? Know what to do? I looked for qemu.hw.mainkeys but i got it in my build.prop. im lost now ;(

That's weird. I have had this happen to me, but only when using an App called WebKey.
I have had it happen before, but that was on a HTC Hero using one of CM's roms. I ended up just wiping everything and re-flashing. Fixed the issue. So I figured something left by another rom was causing a conflict. So maybe you should try a wipe and re flash.
Good luck

[Q] Line in the screen (software/hardware?)

In Chrome - its white and black
In landscape
This happened when i flashed the rom AOKP and i changed the soft buttons bar, 1 month worked everything excellent but then appears this line, so i erased everything (data, system, cache, sdcard, etc) and install the stock rom 4.2.2 but the line keeps there, I dont know if its software or hardware
thanks
It is a pixel row failure in the screen. You will have to rma it for repair. I had the exact same issue. Expect to be without your tablet for about ten days from the day you send it to the day you get it back.

It's a hardware issue. Nothing you did, so don't worry. RMA the tablet and Asus should be able to fix it.

[URGENT] Navigation Bar Not Working

Hi everyone here's the screenshot:

}
I've dropped my phone several times, most serious time broke the digitizer a little bit (below the screen part), but it managed to survived.
Today I found that the navigation buttons are inresponsive, but it managed to work after a off/on screen. The time I got home today, the navigation bar part completely not functioning as you can see in the screenshot. Currently I'm using GB's pie control to make the phone usable.
Any solution/tips/experience to share ?
FINALLY
I tried so many wonky workarounds, but finally found a flashable zip that worked like gangbusters. Just google "nexus 4 navfix." Hope it works for you too.
Reboot the phone in safe mode

Screen deadzone on repaired phone after rooting

I recently broke my Nexus6p and brought it to Telus and they had it sent to Huawei for repairs.
Now I rerooted my phone and there is now a horizontal touch deadzone on the screen around the middle of the screen that takes up about 15% of it (took a screenshot to show).

I think this may be a software issue as the area of the screen was working when I first got the phone back, it was only until after rooting that I noticed this issue however I have factory reset reflashed a new and old version as well as flashed a custom rom and restored the backup from before I rooted anything and nothing worked. It also requires a pattern to start android which only happened when I messed up backing up and left a password on.
Is there anything I missed? Is there a way to check it this is even software related or if the screen died randomly after having it for a bit?
Thanks in advance!

LG Optimus L3 II (E430) won't (kinda) boot

Hi there.
I just want to make some premises:
-The device is NOT rooted
-The device was NOT flashed or been modified in any way
Anyways,
I just picked up this phone after some years of being in some boxes, and wanted to see if it still works.
Here's what he does in booting:
-Logo
-Logo with screen less brighter
-Vodafone animation (yeah, my phone is branded)
-Stuck (like the image)
-Home button light still flashing tho
I tried to hard reset it, it kinda works, by booting, going into the setup, and 1-2 seconds later it boots itself straight into the animation (yup, no logo) and remains stuck.
I seriously don't know what to do.
Can you guys please help me out?
Thanks in advance
