Hello
I have unrooted my s7 edge using supersu and now it bootloop in the s7 edge screen , i have twrp and download mode access.
I have searched arround for someone having the same problem as me but no luck.
you have to reflash SuperSU to get the phone up running in odin. if u want to go back to stock u have to flash the original firmware in odin.

Hey guys,
So yesterday i had a NIGHTMARE.
I had a note 4 running on 5.0.1 which was rooted with CF Auto Root. I decided i wanted to install TWRP. I flashed it with odin using the version i thought would be correct. But ended up NOT being able to boot my phone and being stuck on the Samsung Logo screen with the SEANDROID red error message.
I tried everything and eventually just downloaded the STOCK 5.0.1 rom and flashed it with Odin and my phone was back to normal.
I now need to Re-root my phone again and hopefully get twrp installed.
My main question is which version of TWRP should i use?
Also when i look at the CF Auto Root page, i see for the SM-910U they seem to only have a file for 5.1.1. So does that mean i should update from 5.0.1 - 5.1.1. first before rooting?
Any help would be greatly appreciated
Yes, you should update.
Look for twrp at xda. There are threads about twrp for note4
Hi guys,
I need some urgent help. I had a rooted Samsung Galaxy S7 edge exynos version as a gift. After using it for sometime, i just wanted to unroot the device. I went online to make a searched and discover a video on youtube saying tht i could unroot by the SuperSU app itself. So when i click on the fully unroot it start to reboot the device but then it stuck at the "Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge" screen. It keeps on and off from the screen.
I went into recovery mode and it went into TWRP recovery. I tried to do a factory reset and also wipe all data and reboot again. It is still the same. Need urgent advice and help.
I could only go into recovery (TWRP) and Odin Mode (Download Mode)
Device: Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge (SM-G935F)
u need to odin the factory firmware.
Sent from my SM-G935F using XDA-Developers mobile app
Try to put a rom on your device and flash it thru twrp.
so i have a s7 edge , rooted, custom ROM etc.
yesterday i decided to reset it , so i restored the firmware through Smart Switch.
but when i installed TWRP 3.1.0.0 , i accidentally selected the TWRP for the S7 , not the S7 edge.
now im stuck in a red image everytime i boot.
never had this problem so i dont know what this is.
SO WHAT HAPPENED AND HOW CAN I REPAIR IT ?:fingers-crossed:

Mast flash twrp hero2lte
YES I know , i reflashed The firmware and then installed the right file.
Im not a beginner , but sometimes my folders get tricky ???
My question is , is it going to affect the device if that red screen popped up ?
Or is it just because i flashed the wrong file
yea
same problem
Hi.
I am currently stuck at a blue screen that says "an error has occured while updating the device software." I rooted which went fine, but when I went to add TWRP I was unable to access recovery. Each time I would try to access recovery it would say something like "system software not authorized by ATT has been found on your phone." So I decided to revert back to stock using Odin and the firmware from Sammobile, that however failed and now I'm stuck on the "an error has occured while updating the device software."
- I can get into download mode
- I can NOT get into recovery and havent been able to since I rooted
- I had just upgraded to 7.0 ota right before I rooted
- I've tried flashing with Kies however it just keeps asking me to enter a model number
- I've tried flashing with Smart Switch but after I enter the model number and serial number the app closes and nothing happens
- Odin fails everytime, have also tried patched Odin which I used to root and fails as well
Edit: Could it be that I need to flash 7.0 firmware instead of 6.0.1? I read something about the bootloader not allowing downgrades?
Please help?

Why would you try installing TWRP on a AT&T S7 Edge which the bootloader is locked, that's one reason you can't go to recovery, basically you bricked your AT&T S7 Edge, try to odin Stock AT&T S7 Edge Nougat see if that gives you recovery back, and do not try installing TWRP again, if your able to Odin back to stock, good luck!

I'll try that. And why? My own incompetence I suppose....however I couldn't access stock recovery after I rooted either, before I tried to install TWRP, so I'm not sure how that factors in?
