CyanogenMOD 14.1 for falcon (Moto G 2013) won't allow you to install "super" package, there's not enough space on system partition. We can only install micro, nano or pico packages (maybe mini too?).
As far as I know it's not possible.

If you have to edit and modify the gapps-config.txt and open_gapps_log.txt can you send me your file that I see if there is an error.
Does the same works for AOSP Extended v3.0 official ROM or I have to add more apps to exclude list.

Thank you for this!
Is there any MOD that works with this ROM that allows you to swap Internal-External Storages?
I've tried the AIO tool on the Dev section to no avail. Also the few apps that allow you to do this in the store don't seem to function with our weird busybox behaviors...
Guys, could you make a zip to install the stock browser?

Don't know, but I was thinking about that. Personally I like the way it is (internal-for android stuff, external for music/movies/etc) but internal IS too small .. so I was wondering if making symbolic links for specific (big) internal folders to external sd cadr would help. Don't know if it's possible (think it is, but must check it) Anyone would be interested ? What folders would you move ?

See this is one pet peeve of mine with all Stock based ROMs: I like listening to music in my car's stereo through the USB port it offers (better than using AUX because you get to control from the stereo and less fiddling with cables), however the stereo seems to only be able to read one single storage, and it always is the first storage indexed in the device. In our case this means that the stereo will only read the phone's internal storage whereas my music is placed on external/music.
This pretty much means that if I want to listen to my phone's library on my car I would need to put it in the internal storage, which as you correctly stated is just too small.
On my previous phone I was able to solve this by either flashing a CM based ROM which changed the order of the storages or by selecting which memory would be mounted using this app: http://goo.gl/LAZuZ
Unfortunately we don't have CM just yet and it seems that no app which requires Busybox will work correctly in our device (with either Stock ICS, Stock JB or any of the available ROMs).
So this is pretty much why I keep pestering the forums requesting for such a mod to work with Omar's ROM

Hi guys,
I've been using OmniROM for some time now and I'm liking a lot. I like their open source "philosophy" and so on but lately, I'm facing a problem that I cannot solve by myself.
I'm trying to find a way to install Play Store to gets some apps that I want/need but I don't want to install all the other Gapps that comes with the packages. I managed to get the apk but after installing it, I don't get it to work. It tries to start but before it even opens, it closes quickly...
Do I need something else in order to make it work?? Google services maybe? I wouldn't like to have more than Play Store if possible.
Greetings!

I believe PA gapps has a "micro" version which has the bare minimum needed for Play Store.
(FYI, most if not all of the Omni developers use PA Gapps - tkruzze does a great job.)
OK so I'll have to flash the Gapps...
What I don't like is that they overwrite some aosp apps :\
Ty anyway @Entropy512!
Edit: What about installing Play services + play store?? Would that be enough?

TKruzze provides multiple packages for the GApps, and most of them don't overwrite the AOSP apps.
In fact, as I read it now, only the "Google Stock Package" do replace AOSP browser, Calendar, Camera, Launcher, TTS, Keyboard and SMS by default by their Google products' counterpart. And there is even an easy way, using this package, to prevent some or all the AOSP apps to be replaced -- read TKruzze's posts to find out how.
The other packages don't overwrite the AOSP apps (except AOSP Calendar becoming replaced by Google Calendar). By default, they install the Google apps along side the AOSP ones.

Yup. That's why I suggested the "micro" package - I'm fairly certain this doesn't overwrite anything and includes the absolute minimum for the Play Store to work.
Now what is annoying is that some of the Play Store versions of Google apps have the same package names as AOSP variants which causes conflicts. Google Camera is one such example, which is the reason I'm in the process of renaming the AOSP-derived camera package in Omni.
Thanks guys, I'm gonna try out those options and see which suits me better

I've removed my Google play account and still not working.

Done! I've attached it with this post. Try flashing it on an existing setup (and not straight after a clean flash since the zip removes the setup wizards as well). I used OOS Open Beta 8 as base for the file paths, but it should theoretically work for all the Open Betas based on Android 8.1

I have a fair idea about everything that my zip is removing. Most of the stuff has been compiled by looking into the multiple debloaters that are there for OOS anyway.
I haven't tested the zip myself because I use a custom ROM myself, but a couple of people I asked to test reported no issues, so. But, as always, issues can arise for anyone flashing anything, that's a standard disclaimer.
Coming to DIRAC, yes, that's a sound solution that OnePlus ships with OOS, but the sounds work just fine without DIRAC too. My zip removes it because there are people who prefer V4A as their sound mod and there have been times when DIRAC has been incompatible/caused some issues with V4A. Therefore, my zip removes it as well.
That's awesome, nice job.

If I want to keep a few apps, if I freeze them with Titanium Backup will they stay or will they be removed as well?
---------- Post added at 07:19 AM ---------- Previous post was at 07:14 AM ----------
Also, when I used this the first time I was not able to use the dark/light OOS theme engine. It removed the OOS file manager and when i put it back in it was light, not a dark theme. I tried to go back to the light theme and it didn't make the change. I'd like to know if anyone knows what package needs to stay to be able to use the OOS theme engine.
Update... I found it. It's the OPSkin package. I'll try freezing the packages I want to keep and flash the zip and see how it comes out.

Frozen or not, they will be removed by the debloater.

Yes, the zip removed the OPSkin package as well, but I have updated the debloater so that it doesn't remove it now since that the inbuilt skin engine is something that I feel many users would be using. I've also compared OOS 5.1.0 with OOS OB 8 Hotfix and am happy to inform that the zip can be used with OOS 5.1.0 as well.
Updated zip is attached with this post. Have fun!

Great! Also, if you'd like, PM me the list of apps that you don't want the zip to debloat and I'll update my zip to make a custom, personalized version for you. That way, you can use the zip without needing to reinstall the apps that you use.

The only 3 are the oos filemanager, the oos gallery and YouTube, but I run a custom YouTube app that blocks ads. So no worries about a custom zip. Only takes a min to redo those.
But thanks a lot for the last one that leaves in the OPSkin

One more thing I found. Since I flashed the debloater in settings I can't enter data usage. I see it in the list on settings, but when I tap on it it t does nothing. Anything you can think of that was removed that would effect that?

No clue what could be causing that. I'll have a look again at the stuff being removed in case anything obvious pops out to me.

If you guys wanna try this rom, open gapps mini package works fine. I don't use Google pay, but play store, sync works good.
Sent from my OnePlus5T using XDA Labs
Language only english and china?
Installed it, nice!
I did it the not official way, installed the zip via local update.
Some apps not working, most of them do though.
Should I install gapps mini as recommended?
And uninstall play store? The official play store works fine.
What is the official way to install it? Via recovery I guess?
I will try that.
Thanks for the ROM!

What do u mean? U need to install gapps too? Don't they come pre loaded?
No, no play store, I went to recovery after my dirty upgrade, it was all in Chinese, I clicked on something, I guess it was wipe and clear cache, every thing was gone, continued and had a clean install.
Deleted all the Chinese apps.
Downloaded play store apk, and now busy installing my apps.
To be continued...

This is H2OS which is China's version of OOS. It does not have gapps because Google isn't allowed in China. You'll have to sideload google services or as the other user said opengapps mini works.

I really don't know. I know someone else who tried opengapps earlier today on this build, I don't know which package, and they didn't work. So it might be really picky.

I just did a search for play store apk, and found on the apk site I know the play store apk. That worked.

Can you share the link to open gapps mini package and the steps you flashed? I've tried using micro/nano open gapps but the first boot after flashing takes very long time and no google stuff shows in the phone. I can just install google play apk but also want to have the sync feature.

No crashes, updating apps works good.
If somebody wants it - Urnyx05's GCam mostly works (except for portrait, timelapse and slowmo)
