My Note 3 was charging just fine until yesterday wen i installed a custom rom(darklord(smthn like tht tell me if u need the exact rom and kernel)) it charges at about 3%an hr wen display is off, and cannot charge wen phone is off as it switches on wen a charger is detected?!. It also loses charge if im using it and charging it. charging was working fine until the custom rom was installed. pls help and answer quick!!
Answer quick no.
Try factory reset first .
Change kernel .
Use another custom rom .

I am having a very serious problem with my Galaxy Y. My phone keeps on going into Emergency Only mode intermittently. For example it will have signal when I go to bed and then when I wake up it will be on emergency only. It also happens randomly during the day and the only way to rectify the problem is to restart my phone.
I did have a custom ROM and that is where it started, I then installed another ROM and the same issue occurred. I then decided to flash my phone to stock firmware (it is still on a custom kernel) yet it is still happening.
If anyone could help on this problem it would be greatly appreciated.

maybe the problem is your sim card but i'm not sure...
keeps happening to SGY users i dont know why but i conclude this because some of my classmates use the same unit also my 2brothers experience both in stock rom at Custom ROm dont know how or why? we have all different kind of baseband but still it occure for me sometime oh dont know why

I thought of that as a possibility. It could be but I doubt it. The SIM is only about a year and a half old. I think it could have been some dodgy configuration with a custom ROM that is still somehow present
R u sure when you flashed stock Rom it was the version you had originally

Yesterday I installed rom of Iraq on my phone using Odin application.
From then its recieption fails (goes out of antena) when Im not using it for several hours.
So I have to restart my device. I should say that my phone is completely fine while im working with it.
This problem happens only when it is idle.
What would u sugest to fix my phone?

Strange signal issue
as the tittle speaking , im having a very very strange issue on my note 3 , when i use my main sim card , i get a very low signal ; i have even managed to change it , without any further results , i then decided to use another sim card from another carrier , then i got full signal bars , i have tried to factory reset my phone , but without any results , the only thing i didnt do is flashing my device as i dont want to use lolipop , as it is impossible to go back into an older stock firmware , by the way i did not root my device and im not looking into it , im still not sure if its a hardware issue or software , i am really confused , hope someone could help me

EDIT : i forgot to mention that when i use my main sim card into another phone i get no problem at all .
EDIT 1 : Tiitle has changed on its own , i am not using a custom rom , and im running android stock 4.4.2 kitkat rom
my note 4g got struck on mi logo screen .. it got struck here coz of updating n battery died at 90% .. so only option now is flashing rom in download mode with mi flashing software ... but now the prob m getting is when i connect my fone in download mode to my pc then my pc says device not recognized ... what should i do now ?
earlier about 4-5 months ago my charging port got damaged so got it replaced from local shop n not from customer care ... so now the customer care ppl tell me that i need to get official mi charging port to get it working .. is it true ??

I having a issue with mi note 3 n9005 hlte , I hope somebody could help me
My note 3 was broke the lcd screem by drop, I was bought a lcd screen on ebay, I made the replacement, and it worked. But the note 3 it was rebooting every time ( with stock rom)
I supose it could be a incompatibility with the lcd screen ( i dont know if it is original or chinese )
so I was trying flashing to another version of android.
I tried many roms, and the reboot problem still happens
so I installed this rom https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-note-3/development/6-0-1-touchwiz-marshmallow-note-3-t3349306/page121 with this rom the note 3 Dont reboot anymore, but it does when I use the spen stylus, when I put out the pen, takes 10 to 20 sec and it reboots.
Can anyone help me ?? any Ideas Why it is happening? Any suggestion of rom it could work and dont have this trouble?

I already tried this before, with the lastest stock rom it reboots with or without spen
I only get work with no reboot with the rom I mentioned earlier, currently I am using the device, I am not using the spen, but, I am asking for help because I frecuently use the spen by my work, so I need it some times. thanks for reply
