Hi! I'm a newbie here, i was wondering if we can create 3d VR environment for google cardboard.
I've made a room environment in 3DS Max and want to present it in Cardboard VR format.

Hey,
I created this tutorial using a nexus 10 (easier to control recording), but the same steps apply to a FireTV. This allows you to bring retro gaming back to the big screen! Please let me know if you have any hangups and I'll try to help you through them.
The Xbox 360 wireless receiver works out of the box with the FireTV, so this is a great way to play N64 games. The controls actually transfer very well in my experience.
Sorry for the interference on the first part of the video- no money for fancy recording stuff (yet). Happy gaming!
does anyone know if there is a setting or mode in google cardboard that renders only one eye fullscreen. My nvidia shield has an app that has this functionality but you can only view 360 photos and no games / apps
Are you referring to developing an app or am existing app that can switch from VR to normal?
If development is what you ask, the Google VR SDK does offer switching the VR mode, and can be set at runtime; it's just a boolean.
So I have an Nvidia 770 Windforce on my computer. I saw some articles that talked about using the VR with the S8 to be used as a Monitor for your PC also some options for VR ability.
Was wondering if anyone here has some good insight on what they may use for this and if its worth it? That or if I can play any VR games, movies through my PC that would display to my occulus? Thanks.
You can use Vridge and riftcat to play Oculus and vive games. If you have a Gear VR download vridge for Gear VR. Also there is a tracking system called Nolo which can give you positional and roomscale tracking. There are also other solutions like tge ps move service.
And this works great as an external monitor? Which one would work for streaming 3d movies from a pc to the gear?

Hi there,
I'd like to design casting spell with controller in my VR game, something like The Forgotten Path by Runes
It's like the player draw shapes to cast a spell with VR controllers, but how do I recognize what the player is drawing?
Anyone developed VR games with any gesture libraries?
