Call Recorder for CM14.1 OnePlus 2 ? - OnePlus 2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Anyone knows any call recorder working on CM14.1 ?

I think it's a bit too early to ask for real working call recorder (not the cheat solution using the mic which results in poor audio).

mic sensitivity issue

I'm using call recorder to record call but the problem is that during call my voice is very loud while reception voice is clear. I have tried multiple call recorder but all having the same issue. If I put mobile away from my mouth than it is a bit better.
I tried built in sound recorder and it worked fine no issue.
Only during call I have this problem.
I'm rooted and I'm on 4.4.2
Please help.

9.0 (Pie) and call recording on Mi A1

Has anyone who has upgraded to 9.0 tried call recording?
My understanding is Google has changed the operating system and basically stopped 3rd party apps from recording calls without root.
My job requires I record call so I am keen to know the Mi A1 situation before upgrading.
It has been said that some manufacturers could undo the changes made by Google and allow call recording but that it was quite unlikely as the laws vary so much from country to country, this coupled with the fact our device is Android One make this even more unlikely as we should receive "stock" android.
Would be grateful to hear anyones experience.
I updated yesterday to Pie. I have ACR Pro and in automatic mode it does't record the other side's voice :/
Actually if you are in a quiet environnement can you hear the other side but very faintly.
Hopefully someone will come up with a solution or we'll have to root the phone.
Boldbeast works
I yesterday updated to pie. I use Boldbeast recorder. To check, I recorded a call. The result was that other side was clearly audible.
P. S. Non rooted phone

Thanks for that.
I'm surprised though.
If you look at the reviews on Google Play, Bolbeast replies (to a user with a MI A2 on the 23rd of December):
Android 9.0 disabled the call recording feature, you can only record your own voice, no matter what recorder you are using in the market. You can test and confirm this fact. This app can fix the problem perfectly if you root the phone. Without root you have no solution in the world, with root this app is exactly the solution.

You say "clearly audible" but is that at the same volume as your voice ?
Because on ACR, the mic source can also pick it but at a very low volume.
Anybody tried Boldbeast using root mode?
Using Cube ACR, and voice is only audible, not loud and clear, and very hard to understand.
Boldbeast isn't working for me.
I didn't have to update to Pie, looking forward to downgrade safely for may reasons.

I've just tried Boldbeast out of curiosity...
with default settings it doesn't work, I can record my voice but not the other party.
With rooted mode and the settings described in the docs for Google Pixel (Record mode: alsa) it works perfectly.

Android 10 call recording

Dear developers,
Google disable call recording in android 10 india
Please help us to record call
Please tell how record without root using boldbeast or other apps
This is a question for me as well, some of the apps have to update themselves according to the Android 10 or Nokia should push patch/fix for the problem.
? Google
I am facing the same trouble but boldbeast solves the problem somehow but the voice on the other end is still too low to listen, maybe I should try loud speaker but not satisfied yet with boldbeast.. hope Nokia should release a patch for this.

After Android 10 Beta Update Problem

I somehow cannot use my mic during calls even on Messenger. They cannot hear me. But I can record on a recorder whether it is Video or just Audio.
Anyone knows how to troubleshoot?
Thanks

I would suggest you to downgrade to android 9! Otherwise you can try to change settings in Google assistant and turn on microphone...

Same here. I will downgrade as soon as possible.
Also, camera integration doesn't work well with some apps, some settings crash and gesture navegation of AOSP it's not good as ZenUI.
In the bright side, LEVEL_3 Cam2API is finally avaliable in this version and GCam is working much better.

I searched through web and found some people saying you can make it work by turning speakers on and then off, after the beginning of the call.
Others said it works by putting headphones and taking them off, after the call starts too.
Didn't tested anyone, but hope it works!
