Xposed on MarshMallow not working - Zuk Z1 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

After installing the final build of NucleaRom based on MM r73, xposed stopped working.
You can install the zip but as soon as you activate any of the modules, your phone gets into boot loop.

Xposed v75 official seems to work on the latest CM12.1 build ! Thanks @tennece
It didn't for me
Unofficial xposed v74 by romracer didn't worked on my one plus one as well running blisspop 5.1.1. Same error here. But flashed official xposed v75. Its running great. So friends try using official xposed framework.
It's okay now it works ^^

[GUIDE] Install Xposed framework on nougat.

Hello xda,
Since xposed framework is released unofficially for nougat, many users got force closes on random apps on PurifyOS' version.
Here is how to install it without FC:
Install xposed installer apk from this thread (only download apk and install it, don't open it): https://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/xposed-android-nougat-sdk-25-arm64-t3639221
Download xposed for SDK 25 by BlackSoulxxx here:
https://drive.google.com/drive/mobile/folders/0B5ePoKNP9UFtWGRVN2JlazhYU2c?usp=sharing
Select Arm64 version and download.
Magisk version not working.
1: Reboot to recovery.
2: Wipe cache, davlik cache.
3: Flash xposed zip from BlackSoulxxx.
4: Reboot, enjoy.
Tested by me in ABC ROM on kenzo.
HIT THANKS IF I HELPED.
CHEERS!

Not tested more,
Only tested apps2vr, working perfectly.
And since its new it will require time to test modules.
I am using latest magisk.

Just ignore it, it is because the app connects to official server and there is no official xposed for nougat yet.
Anyway unofficial xposed which we installed is functional and is shown active in the app.
Stable ? ;p

Xposed for Oreo is now Official from rovo89

At last, now I can consider getting a Pixel XL2, assuming there is a Resurrection Remix ROM available for it as well now.

It's January 8 today, or as we write dates in Germany: 8.1. That means Oreo time!
Let's start with a beta phase this time. That means:
It's stable enough for me to use it on my daily driver (Pixel), and @wanam tested it on a Pixel 2.

Xposed works fine...
You just cannot install it via TWRP.
But that has nothing to do with magisk, but rather with the Pixels A / B partition scheme...
Copy the installer.zip in /sdcard/Android/data/xposed.../cache/downloads/... (or something along those lines) and install from xposed app...
Uninstalling however, brings the P2XL into a bootloop...
As there aren't too many O modules anyway right now... just hold off for a few more days...
Yeah I'm not sure what I am doing wrong. I got a 404 error when I tried downloading it from the app so I manually copied it from the download from the browser. It reads it in the app now but it happens like this and in TWRP as well. What could I be doing wrong.

Anyone who got it running?

Thanks I got done.
I have got it installed on Pixel 2 XL.
1. Install Xposed installer, and place the Xposed-Framework zip in /storage/emulated/0/Android/data/de.robv.android.xposed.installer/cache/downloads/framework/
2. Disable ALL modules in MagiskManager
3. Install Xposed-Framework in Xposed installer with "install" button (NOT via recovery)
4. Reboot. Xposed is intalled. You can activate the Magisk modules again
BTW I have just bootloop my phone.
I think everytime before installing Xposed module, we need to disable ALL Magisk module.
I need to confirm it yet.
hello again! there a magisk module vor xposed on oreo and it just works fine!

I have no issues at all with Xposed. I didn't have to do anything with magisk either. Go to the link below, download, and install in TWRP as normal.

Xposed / Oreo (AEX ROM 8.1)

Hi guys !
I just bought the Greenify app in order to have access to the GCM Push Notification and I just realized it was available only with the Xposed extension.
So my question is : Is Xposed stable enough to work with Oreo, specially with a custom ROM ? (AEX)
Thanks !
I always install Xposed, haven't had any issues besides certain modules not working on Oreo (and nougat), almost all modules work fine, the only one that I remember not getting to work is Unicon. I have had Xposed on AEX and had no issues (I've never used greenify though, so idk about greenify specifically)

Just had a bootloop + stuck on boot animation for 10 min then finally boot.
Did you have this problem as well ?

Yeah, forgot to mention that, its not a bootloop issue, first boot with xposed can take up to 15-20 minutes, usually mine took about 10-15, after that app boots should be normal.
