" It’s the official Brazilian OTA soak test"

7.0 modem

Does anyone have the soak test or modem for the xt 1625 retail non amazon version
If you dare to do it.. I have a 1642 and used the one from the link in: http://forum.xda-developers.com/mot...xt16xx-cyanogenmod-14-1-alpha-t3492274/page59
If you read the comments in that thread you will see that there are so many versions working with that Indian n soak that it seems universal. But there is always a risk. It's up to you.

This modem file is extracted from "XT1625-XT1644_ATHENE_RETUS_MPJ24.139-64_cid50_subsidy-DEFAULT_regulatory-DEFAULT_CFC.xml" if you want to take a chance with it.

Not sure why you think you have to go to Nougat before flashing a 7.1 ROM. I have the XT1625 retail and I flashed the 7.1 XPerience ROM while on MM. I only did a factory reset before flashing then wiped Dalik/Cache after before booting. I manually installed all of my apps from Play Store and everything is running very smoothly with great performance and battery life.
I cannot speak for other 7.1 ROM's but this one is awesome!

Not getting any ota update after 3rd soak test for moto g4 plus

Hi,
I was beta tester (mfn user) for moto g4 plus, but after 3rd soak test ( build no. Npj25.93-9) , which was on nov'16, I'm not getting any ota from moto. What to do now?

The best thing you can do is backup all your things and manually flash the latest stock rom https://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g4-plus/how-to/stock-rom-npjs25-93-14-4-march-1-t3608138

oreo update soak test OTA capture

Did anyone from india received the update nd anyone had captured the OTA?
From what I've seen, this soak test OTA has been released in Brazil - it could come to India given that Brazil/India devices run on the NPN25.137-92 series of firmwares.
However, as with any soak test, flashing this soak test will take you off the official OTA path, meaning that you may not likely receive security or version updates at all (unless you are already part of the soak test and have been selected by the Motorola Feedback Network). If this is the only soak test update, you may get back onto official updates, but if there are subsequent OTAs released to soak testers, you'd be stuck. Thus, to get back onto the official updates, you'd have to downgrade back to stock Nougat, try to find all the soak tests in order, or wait for the official Oreo fastboot ROM. Also, with any soak test, you may experience bugs, even device bricking bugs, so be careful.
Have fun but please be responsible and be aware about what you're flashing to your device.

Yup, so you'd likely have to revert back to the particular stock firmware required by this soak test (clean flash, so data wipe/possible internal storage wipe), then try to flash the soak test. Again, I've not seen any bug reports yet, but obviously if you flash this soak test and there are bugs, then you'll likely experience them....
