Adding a shortcut to access the Dolby Atmos control panel, included in settings in the Cuoco92 ROM but hidden in other eui ROMs, is an easy process.
1. Install this app from the Play Store:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.bhanu.appshortcutmaker
(Free version is sufficient, although if you want to customize the shortcut icon you need the cheap in-app purchase unlock)
2. Select the ALL ACTIVITIES tab in the app and scroll down and choose Dolby, and tap on com.dolby.daxappUI.MainActivity
3. If you want to use a downloaded icon, you can select the Create icon from Gallery option. Otherwise you will create the shortcut with the standard simple teal Dolby icon. I used this image:
http://www.dolby.com/uploadedImages...lby-atmos-cinemaaccented-logo-gutter-tout.png
4. Tap the orange floating action button and your shortcut will be created on your homescreen. The Atmos control panel allows you to select different presets or manually adjust the Atmos equaliser, options that are not available under Sounds & Vibrations in the regular eui settings menu.
Just noticed that with the shortcut maker app you can also use icon pack icons. This means that you can make shortcuts with icons of your choosing even in Google Now or Pixel launcher. I am now using the Pixel Launcher with round icons from a Pixel Launcher icon pack off the Play Store. That includes a Dolby Atmos icon.

Just a simple way to reproduce the stock weather clock widget in another launcher
including the click action to go in the new stock accuweather app
I tested in NOVA and it works
Basically you need
1) XWidget (download the theme s6)
2) desktop visualizer
3) an image viewer able to create a transparent icon
The procedure is simple
A) Create a transparent icon and save it (the size does not matter)
B) using xwidget create the widget reproducing the stock one (for example size 4x2)
C) create another widget (same size 4x2 again) using desktop visualizer selecting as icon the transparent and as action (using the option others) the shortcut connecting as NOVA stock weather activity
I suggest to have no label, touch effect as NONE and vibration selected as SYSTEM
D) in nova settings----> desktop---> advanced select to permit the overlap
E) overlap the second widget to the first and set bring to front
in this way you will have the widget looking as the stock (thanks to xwidget) and behaving as the stock (thanks to desktop visualizer)
Thanks. I did something very similar with apex launcher. How did you get to the stock S6 accuweather app from Desktop VisualizeR? Was it an option to select when you built the transparent widget overlay?

You create a desktop visualizer widget
As icon you select the transparent
As action you select 'others'
then (in Nova but I believe there is a similar option also in Apex) 'activities'
then you look for the activities related to 'weather' ... the first is the good one
Leave the label field empty
Transparent background
None as touch effect
System as Vibration
Then press OK
Finally overlap the desktop visualizer widget to the xwidget and resize it properly
As the question states.
I found really cool ones, but the icons change, and I lose the dynamic Calendar icon that displays Day and Date. Can you suggest on how to apply themes and not lose stock icons?
Thank you.
I use Nova Launcher. You can choose an entire icon pack as well as change individual icons. When you long press an icon, you get a menu with edit in it. Select edit, then touch the icon. You will be presented with icon options. One should be the stock icon.
