Hey guys, i am curious how to root my S7 edge? Can i root it without computer? Because i am using Mac so its a little bit harder.
Not that I'm aware of bud you going to need cf auto root and a recovery image preferably twrp to be flashed in Odin

If I install my twrp recovery or factory reset phone data was erased.

My Motherboard on my I9505 messed up and every few min. I would get no sim card and have to reboot.
I got it replaced and i used kingroot to root my phone. I used one click to root and install cwm last time. I have no computer to install a custom recovery. Is there a way to install custom recovery with flashify or rashr or maybe moble odin pro? I don't want a brick but I need a custom recovery. Please help.....

Flashify should work fine. Use TWRP recovery though. CWM and Philz are outdated and not maintained anymore.
Yes! Flashing worked! First had to flash a custom kernel. Then I flashed a custom recovery. And it worked..... thanks. Rash wouldn't work. It kept flashing stock recovery over my custom recovery.

Need TWRP and SuperSU beta 2.71 for rooting Marshmallow correctly
You've already tripped KNOX by flashing CF AR, TWRP is a very powerful, and necessary recovery when you're doing things like rooting
Flash TWRP 3.0.0.0 and then that SuperSU zip

"Correctly" are other users having problems with flashing cf-root through pc odin?
If i flash TWRP, will i need to clear data\factory reset my device?
Could you give me link to the required files please, thank you.

No, nothing gets wiped
MM requires newer SuperSU, as you found out older versions have problems
TWRP 3.0.0.0
Code:

ODIN 3.10.7

SuperSU in the link I posted yesterday
Hi guys,
I need some urgent help. I had a rooted Samsung Galaxy S7 edge exynos version as a gift. After using it for sometime, i just wanted to unroot the device. I went online to make a searched and discover a video on youtube saying tht i could unroot by the SuperSU app itself. So when i click on the fully unroot it start to reboot the device but then it stuck at the "Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge" screen. It keeps on and off from the screen.
I went into recovery mode and it went into TWRP recovery. I tried to do a factory reset and also wipe all data and reboot again. It is still the same. Need urgent advice and help.
I could only go into recovery (TWRP) and Odin Mode (Download Mode)
Device: Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge (SM-G935F)
u need to odin the factory firmware.

Try to put a rom on your device and flash it thru twrp.
hi there i am wanting to return my verizon s7 edge back to stock so my root will be gone.
i used the method in this post to unroot
http://forum.xda-developers.com/ver...-to-notes-root-install-xposed-unroot-t3411039
everytime odin will fail, ive made sure the correct drivers were installed and the correct files.
any help or knowledge would be appreciated
Use odin to reflash PH1 but make sure you flash csc_home so you don't lose your data.

You can also flash twrp with Odin and flash supersu with twrp.
