Yes it is quite good
I tried it as well but uninstall, was messing the black theme I gotten from theme store, couldn't change the shortcuts at the top to black color, something about theme is causing some slight lag I find as well.

I know there are some people afraid of flashing 5.0 for now for reasons like losing unlock or root, but I don't need that so I flashed 5.0.
Here is a video I made. Quick look of the 5.0 interface.
UI is very fast and stable. No force closes so far. I think battery life is better but I tested it only for 1 day.
I also wanted to show you Battery Saver which has been through big change (good change IMO), but I couldn't since phone was plugged in.
I accidentally forgot to show you Recents and lockscreen, dont get mad please
Thanks for sharing but i have to be honest here
This is the moat useless video ive seen !!!! U seriously didnt ahow anything!!!
I can see calender widget got a material design... Did the app itself has a material design as well ??? So for the rest of the system applications ? Sms tasks phone etc
Anything got changed media wise ? Gallery video camera music ?
Cmon dude ... Show is the good stuff not the settings menu over and over again

The reason that nobody (including me) show anything else than this is because everything remained the same. There is no point in showing you what you already got on 4.4 roms. Isnt it? Icons at homescreen and month calendar widget are apps from Play Store. All LG's apps mostly remained the same.
There isnt much new magic in Lollipop dude just some visual changes and of course
ART
New Recents
New Notification Bar
Lockscreen Notifications
Really cool animations
I think the best 5.0 changes are the 2000 new APIs we will see some magic in the future you will see bro
Android just got even more awesome with Lollipop
I have a G3 too and I wanted to know if i flash this "test build" can I still get the automatic update from LG when the official will come out ? thanks

As agreed I decided to open this topic to discuss new ideas for a custom ROM based on Stock 4.1.2, as none of the CyanogenMod can please many users, we will discuss ideas and features for the ROM, I will put my ideas here on the tread later.
My goal is make a fast and slim stock custom rom, with good features for everyone use most of her S3 mini, then everyone can give ideias to implement on this ROM
Ok idea 1.add Fly-On mod or something similar.
2.i think it should have xposed framework installed from the beginning. .as an option of course.
3. Quick settings like when you swipe the statusbar with two fingers ?

Try and add lollipop style to the ui like the gs6.
Bring s6 launcher and its lollipop touchwiz theme

I do not think much about visual Lollipop, I think of a visual fit for the ROM, giving more personality to it

Power saver mode galaxy S5 is impossible I think, but we have this application that does the same and is more efficient

I do not think about changing it in the first versions, I like the TouchWiz UI, but the combination of colors that are horrible green and black is strange

Just give us a build test
New thread but nothing to test. Will you give us any release date or we will be waiting forever ? Give us something .
+1
Well, since make a good visual is hard and i terrible themer, i will upload with s5 theme and some things i made, its unfinished but its time for a release
Yeah! We need to test
What i made this days:
Changed lots os apks from Sammy(all laggy and heavy), aosp/cm apps(messenger from PAC 4.1,aosp browser fully working, desk clock)
Heavy cleaned up on all ROM(lib,APP,framework, and all others folders)
Add my personal engine for speed and battery saver
Add some things from stamina mode of xperia devices(unfinished)
Tweaked CSC folder, build.prop
Ported DSP manager from CyanogenMod 10.1
And more some little things
Sounds good is there a four way reboot that will work with xposed framework?

4 way reboot menu was "broken" with the theme S5, but using the gravity box with the reboot menu option everything is perfect, then the ROM will not get trouble at the end: D
Sounds great. Godd job
Ok give us a tester then jyn.
Btw:how about putting the pie control in there (forgot the name) like the Tokorom it's a great bit of kit and if you set it up it would be good for the first time user to get to the right apps and options.
LMT Launcher. .
any way to get a black theme on axon 7 stock system?
no. maybe you can edit all apks. (settings, systemui and framework.)

Ok. How would I go about doing that?
Not even with Chinese theme engine? Some themes show a screenshot of the Settings app, so maybe there's some theme with darker UI

Get the nuclear rom, install substratum from google play store, install a black theme for it also from the play store.
Tried and works wonders.

Well thee nuclear rom is based on Lineage OS which is AOSP so then the stereo speakers won't work. I also found the headphone audio and battery to be poor on Lineage os so im not really sure if it's worth it to go back to stock android.

You're wrong, stereo speakers work just fine, they have been fixed a couple of days ago.
You need to read more.
Also nuclear is based on Lineage yes, but the performance and battery is much better for me than stock.

Has anyone gotten any of these to work? The bright white notifications with black themes are blinding and hideous. I've tried a few on the Substratum but they always error out when applying systemui themes.

swift black is the only one i got to work and no system ui tweaks are going to work on this device none were created for it most themes were made with nexus/pixel devices in mind and a few devs decided to make updates to use certain theme aspects on the s8/s8+ if you can find one with system ui tweaks that work that dev put extra work into it to make it work on s7 edge
I got them all to work

Thank you! Just checked the screenshots, and I noticed it also has those rounded pull-down menu buttons. What's the deal with that? I prefer icons that look like this. Is that an option on Havoc?

Yeah I see what you mean the one you show is like lineage pull down menus. On havoc it's built to look like Pie icons although havoc is oreo.I think it looks smart especially neon green against black ui.I never tried changing them as I don't customize much but that aside Havoc with Twister kernel has the highest benchmark of any J5 2016 41k plus

Thanks. I do agree speed and stability are the most important factors at the end of the day. Although aesthetics come second . What I don't like with this design is how text is broken under the icons.

I'm running DotOs Oreo right now, and it's sometimes slow, System UI crashes occasionally, and it has this super annoying lag when switching from wifi to mobile data.

Try bootleggers pie rom. Well maintained and really fast
And also loads of different dark themes for the ui

The fastest is Havoc followed by AEX extended.Dot is a nice rom.The key to these oreo roms running fast are the kernels and the two I use will benchmark 4000-5000+on antutu over stock kernels and you won't find them here on xda.

Thanks. How does screen dimming work on Pie? I always found the darkest to be too bright at night, and on Oreo the official screen dimming apps didn't work anymore because they didn't have the permission to draw over Android UI like notifications. So now I'm using an Xposed module that does the trick but, as far as I know, there is no Xposed for Pie.
