Hi there
My father has an s7 edge g935f and i installed nougat beta for him.
He used the galaxy labs unified homescreen without app drawer
This nice option doesnt seem to be there im the beta
Is there any other way to reactivate it ?
Is samsung going to add that again? Cuz note 7 also had that with grace ux but our ugly grace ux doesnt have that?

When you press and hold you homescreen there should be an option called Home-Screen settings bellow on the right side I read somewhere that some people have that option and some don't have this option maybe thats a bug from the beta unfortunately for me it's the same I don't have it, for me it shows just the Screen-Grid option. Look for yourself and maybe you're lucky.

It has been purposefully removed by Samsung and won't see its return anymore.

What's your carrier? I'm on T-mobile S7 edge and I don't have any such notifications.
Try re-starting your device.
I have the same. The number of updates has progressively grown.

Really weird!
The other option is to go into the settings on galaxy app and switch off the notification messages.
While you are there, do check if you have the latest version. Mine says 4.1.01-14

It's the same version. So I checked for an update, but not because of a notification, and there was one for AOD.
The s7 edge has alot of preloaded apps that are not fully installed. First i had a notification that said 32 apps need update but all my Apps where. So i installed 4 preloaded apps and it went down to 28 apps need update the next time i got the notification.

I figured mine out. After going into Galaxy Apps I manually updated then could see I had several preloaded apps that needed updating along with language packs and Kids Mode items.

Don't worry it's still moving but pixel by pixel it is not noticeable for us.

Not pixel by pixel, but sometimes it is on top of the display, sometimes on the bottom, sometimes in the middle. Position changes every day I think.

Yes, that's new too, it shows what song is playing on whichever player U have. But notifications from apps like facebook, whatsapp etc. are still not available. I hope they will bring that feature with 7.0
Sadly, the update doesn’t enable third-party app notifications

if the fingerprint scanner goes in the back, it kills it for me. Whatever happened to integrating it in the screen?

Absolute agree to this. What about having the phone on the table and typing, browsing.
I hope it is just an experiment and it's gonna be revised on the 9 series.

Hey guys,
i just upgraded to the Galaxy S8 from the Galaxy S5 and so for i like the device however i can not stand 2 things not being able to select my own live wallpaper(i figured this one out on my own) AND the weather/clock widget. Is there anyways to get the Galaxy S5 Weather/Clock widget to work on the Galaxy S8? I have tried several ports for older devices but it states "error corrupt files, reinstall package".
TL;DR - How can i get the Galaxy S5 Weather/Clock widget on my S8(with out root preferred) ?
I mean cmon which looks better.

The bottom one. It's a useless port anyways.

Nah man, the S5 looks better... Lets be real, i mean you opinion is your and i respect but how is it a useless port? i personally like the S5 Weather App WAY better. I cant be the only one.
Doubt your going to get the actual S5 weather widget on your S8...but you could always use one of those WYSIWYG apps to do it. There are a lot out there that have the S5 widget as part of them. I am sure there is probably an app that looks like the S5 widget out there too.
Hi. Agree and totally miss my S5 vibrant and timely weather widget. Anyone find a solution?

Hey all I thought I was only one trying to get the S5 accuweather widget on my S7. Been getting jerked around by Samsung who says it won't work on android 7.0. Google people were nice but couldn't help, accuweather customer service via email only stinks & they claim they didn't make the app/ widget a 3rd party developer did. I just sent them another email with their news story announcing s5 weather and Samsung together made preinstalled app. WTF... why can't we get whatever we want on our phones that cost us $700. This is b.s.. anyone have a clue how to get this without root. Thanks.
i noticed samsung goodlock isnt in the samsung apps store yet, anyway to have it working on android n ?
rather not root to have it.
i so miss having multiple icons on my lock screen.
bump ?

I think you've installed some other application named Good Lock. I'm pretty sure it's not Samsung's "Good Lock".
Look at the developer/editor and if it doesn't say Samsung, it's not the Good Lock you wanted.

I remember when the Note7 came out, it took a little while before Goodlock was available. I think this was primarily because they had to make it compatible with the iris scanner. I think I was able to use the version on APK mirror with some success before the Note7 version was released, but I don't have an s8 to try it now. Use at your own risk.
Edit: I removed the link because Goodlock isn't compatible with Android 7.0
Note 7 was 6.0, Good Lock is NOT compatible with 7.0+
I miss it too!

Bummer. I see that now. I guess they saw it as a failed experiment? I personally liked the text clock style on the lockscreen a lot.
i been useing ZUI Locker-Elegant Lock Screen but sam as the goodlock , it wont show as full screen maybe needs an update due to our screen resolutions
